Theworldwasneverthesameafterthatday.Humanitylearnedthattheyweren'taloneintheuniverse,butthatwasn'tsomethingtheyhadthetimetoworryabout.Theirrealizationwasaccompaniedbycatastrophe.Creaturesbeyondtheirwildestimaginationspoureddownfromtheskyandappearedfromtheearth.Theyslaughteredhumansasifitwastheirsingularpurpose,drivingthemtothebrinkofextinction.Thepeopleoftheworlddideverythingintheirpower,developinguniquetraitsandtechnologiestocreateaunitedfronttheirenemiescouldn'tpenetrate.Theysecuredvictoriesandrepopulated,feelingasiftheystoodachanceagainsttheforeigninvaders.Theyfoughtandtheyfought,doingeverythingtheypossiblycouldtoensuretheirsurvival.UntiltheGreatCalamitiesappeared.Infrontofthem,humanitywasnothingregardlessofitsefforts.Onebyone,theworldswereturnedintopilesofrubbleinbetweenthecracksoftheirteeth.Civilizationwastornapart,andtheevolvedhumanslivingwithincoulddonothingtostopitscollapse.Humanityitselfwasleftextinct,andintheend,onlyasinglemanwasleftaliveamidstthechaos.Why?Forwhatreasonweretheypunishedso?Nobodyknewwhytheattacksbeganinthefirstplace.Helookedintothedistanceatthememoriesofthepastandfirmedhisresolve.“Itcanonlybeme.”Heknewofamiraclethatcouldreturnhimtotheplaceofthosememories.Heknewofawaytomakethewheelsoftimespininreverse.Andusingit,healonewouldsavehumanityfromitsdoomedfate.Thatwashissacreddutyasitsfinalsurvivor.
