Chapter 552: Chapter 552 Witch vs R6

Broken stones and gravel tilted downward, Diana’s lower body was a bloody ss, her thighs and knees skin blasted outward, the broken shinbone pierced through the skin and denim, protruding from the back of the pants.

She fell along with the gray-white concrete blocks into the 11th-floor office, huge chunks of rubble smashing onto her, the pain indescribable.

“Heat source confird? Heat source?” Scott shouted.

“There’s another one on the 12th floor, inside, it’s a mutated individual! The spiritual readings have exceeded the limits of the gauge!” a team mber yelled.

“Watch the movent on the 12th floor, everyone else shoot the sealing grenades at the mutated individual!” Scott bellowed.

The 12th floor’s floor cracked open a large hole, making it impossible for the team mbers to enter Lucina’s office through the door.

Four R6 team mbers, each equipped with a grenade launcher, stood at the edge of the large hole on the 12th floor, found Diana in the debris with the help of thermal imaging, and without hesitation pulled the trigger.

“Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop!”

Four spirit power sealing hand grenades shot towards Diana, followed by a dazzling white light.

Diana scraped the rubble off herself, enduring the pain in her lower body as she tried to stand up, her eyes in the dark like two flas.

“She’s still alive, switch to ice bullets,” commanded Scott.

More than ten HK416 muzzles discharged white light, ice attribute spiritual bullets struck Diana’s body, her blood like lava, igniting as it sprayed out.

“Suppression fire! She can still move!” Scott exclaid, firing continuously.

The bullets’ inertia pinned her against the wall, she lifted her forearm to shield her face, feeling as if she had been turned into a sieve, filled with pain and an imnse surge of anger and drive within her.

Diana was knocked down by the bullets, leaning against the wall she slid slowly down, sitting on the floor and coughing up blood.

“Keep firing! Until she can’t move!” Scott ordered.

The muffled gunfire was incessant, the indoor shooting beca extrely loud, the sound waves bouncing off the walls into everyone’s ears, would have caused bleeding had it not been for the sound suppressors and ear protection.

Diana took two bullets to the neck, blood spurting out like a fountain, her skin beginning to redden, though no one could see it in the dark.

At that mont, Lucina erged from a small office on the 12th floor, she raised her Glock and fired twice at the brilliant gunfire line. One team mber was hit, his bulletproof vest saved his life, but he still fell.

“The target on the 12th floor can still move,” reported a team mber.

Instantly, several rifles redirected their fire towards the door where Lucina was.

“Use a grenade to quiet her down,” directed Scott.

A team mber pulled the pin of a grenade, preparing to throw it inside.

Just then, the temperature inside suddenly skyrocketed, Diana’s entire body emitted a dark red light, and in a flash, this dark red light turned into a bright orange, her clothes burnt to ashes, and the bullets lodged in her body sprayed back out wrapped in flas.

Fla Bullet spread like shotgun pellets towards the R6 mbers, like blazing sharp blades, or as if they were the embodint of Diana’s fury, eight team mbers severed at the waist, limbs flying in the darkness, slamming against the walls.

“Spirit power sealing grenades ineffective? Retreat! Retreat!” Scott first shocked, then quickly composed himself, swiftly making the decision and giving orders.

“Ahhh! Ahhhhh!!! Diana scread in a non-human roar, her entire body transforming into a fla energy body, her hair waving like fireworks.

She flew out from the rubble to the 12th floor, suddenly grabbed an R6 mber attempting to retreat, the team mber pulled out a spiritual ability pistol and pressed it against Diana’s abdon and pulled the trigger, but the intense heat from Diana quickly ignited him along with the gun.

“Ah! Ah!!” The team mber’s face behind the helt burst into flas, as if slowly roasted, changing from human flesh to a skull, flas shooting from the eye sockets.

Diana beca the only source of light in the dark corridor, still radiating heat, leaving the thermal imaging team mbers feeling almost blinded.

“Inject the serum! Quick!” Scott shouted into his headset.

He took a syringe from a small pack on his back and stabbed it into his neck. As his teammates retreated, they too injected themselves in the neck.

The injection was ant to counteract the effects of the Spirit Power Sealing Hand Grenade, allowing the users to access their spiritual abilities again in a sealed environnt. However, the cost of doing so was doubling the consumption of spiritual energy, effectively halving their available spiritual energy usage ti.

Diana unleashed a blast of flas, trying to turn the three surviving R6 mbers in the 12th-floor corridor into ash.

The flas roared, but the three teammates took cover behind a massive shield the size of a door. Their attire was no longer that of special forces; they had donned Spiritual Ability Equipnt.

The three teammates put away the large shield—one clad in a red samurai armor, another in a white coat, and another in a Ninja outfit. The samurai wielded a large gun and lunged at Diana.

Diana grabbed the barrel of the gun, planted her feet on the ground, and spewed flas from her right hand at his face. The Ninja threw a chain that wrapped around Diana’s right arm. The chain glowed green, injecting her with a toxin-like substance. She felt her right side beco numb and unresponsive.

The R6 mber in the white coat wielded a samurai sword frosted with ice, grasped the hilt with both hands, rushed at Diana, and thrust the sword into her upper abdon, then drew the blade downward.

Diana spat out a mouthful of blood, her grip loosening slightly, allowing the gun’s barrel to penetrate her chest.

“AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!” She bellowed in rage, flas erupting from her body once again. Blazing beams shot from her eyes, striking the face of the samurai-clad teammate.

Initially, his helt protected him from the heat, but within seconds, it glowed orange, reverted to tiny diamonds, and shattered into powder. The beams pierced through his head, killing him instantly.

Diana turned around, her heat vision sweeping across and slicing through the heads of the samurai and Ninja. With their owners dead, the weapons embedded in her reverted to Holy Diamonds. Diana knelt down, blood pouring from her wounds and dissolving the floor.

She leaned on the wall to stand up. Suddenly, a blue lightning bolt struck her, sending her rolling across the ground, leaving a trail of flas.

“Quick battle, quick decision; we can’t give her a chance to breathe,” said Scott, wearing gladiator armor that resembled Caesar’s, albeit holding a short axe.

The team of sixteen had lost eleven mbers. Now, only five remained.

Diana’s eyes emitted heat beams that were severed mid-air by sothing; Scott extended his hand, his face stern.

It seed like so kind of defensive secret technique. Diana steadied her breath and flew towards Scott along the ceiling, aiming to capture the king by targeting the commanding captain first.

Mid-flight, she hit an invisible wall, crashing to the ground with a thud, clutching her forehead as her face was violently kicked.

A R6 teammate conjured spheres of blue lightning, constantly sending bolts into Diana’s body as she scread in pain. She retaliated with flas, but the temperature sharply dropped, and an ice wall enclosed her. The ceiling, floor, and walls grew thick with ice, half-freezing Diana’s lower body, returning her to human form.

Scott ford a transparent wall in front of Diana, blocking her flas. The corridor’s middle froze under the power of ice, sealing Diana along with it.

“We’re almost there!” Scott said.

“AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!” Diana roared, unleashing all her firepower. The corridor crumbled under the force of ice and fire, emitting sounds of unbearable strain.

“Hang on! We’re about to succeed!” Scott encouraged. The transparent wall kept Diana’s flas and heat at bay as his team mbers concentrated their freezing abilities to fully encase her in ice.

Diana’s flas dwindled, the ice spreading to her chest. She watched Scott reluctantly, her eyes’ fire dimming.

Just then, the bodies of the five dead teammates flew past Scott from behind, crashing into the transparent wall in front. A large blue Crystal Gun severed his right arm, his blood solidifying mid-air—Scott had never seen a gun of this size.

Scott whirled around to see a Black Knight wielding a large hamr, smashing down on his head.

Scott raised his axe single-handedly to defend, but the Black Knight shattered it and his arm, knocking him to the floor.

“What are you…?” he looked up at the Black Knight.

The Black Knight did not respond, striking him on the head again. Feelings of regret, sorrow, and fear flooded Scott’s mind—emotions that weren’t his, carried by the hamr’s spiritual properties.

“PUH-rua…” Scott’s head was hamred into his chest, blood not even sprouting.

The Black Knight stepped over his body, shattered the ice encapsulating Diana, and cradled her in his arms.
