I’ve always been saved by Toshiya’s brightness, but I never thought he saw himself as a supporter.

Toshiya smiled at Shimizu-san, who glared back at him.

I hadn’t expected her to try to go ho in the rain.
I learned the next day that Shimizu-san had taken the day off.
