Melanie Carpenter shuddered. What woman isn’t afraid of snakes, especially poisonous ones? Just thinking about those soft, slippery snakes made Melanie’s heart race.

"You accomplices of Sienna Johnson, you lackeys, I’m going to kill you!" Melanie lunged forward, but Barnes easily sidestepped, causing Melanie to miss and fall to the ground.

"Why is he staying at my house?"
