At least, as a wealthy heiress who has been swept away by love and has never experienced any setbacks, her actions can be forgiven.

She was grateful that she hadn’t asked the Night Hawk to do anything harmful to Helen lendy, so she could speak with confidence in front of her family.

Edward Smith indeed learned from the Night Hawk that Olivia Smith hadn’t done anything except have him watch Helen lendy, so now, he silently listened to Olivia finish speaking, showing no expression on his face.

Olivia couldn’t quite gauge what her parents and older brother were thinking at the mont, so she could only try her best to make them believe everything she said.

The fact that she isn’t the Smith Family’s daughter is already set in stone.

But framing herself as an innocent, she still has a great chance to stay with the Smith Family.

Thinking this way, she cast a pitiful glance at Charles Smith and his wife, saying:

"Dad, Mom, brother, I know my thoughts of undermining soone else’s relationship are shaful, but I really haven’t taken any actual actions, you must believe ."

She looked towards Edward Smith, attempting to find so advantageous information from his impenetrable gaze, but she didn’t see anything at all.

"As for why I withdrew the people after Helen lendy had been comatose for half a year, that’s because I thought Helen lendy wouldn’t wake up."

She covered her face, crying out loud.

"At that ti, Helen lendy had already been in a coma for half a year without any signs of improvent. Night Hawk told she had beco a vegetable and was basically not going to wake up. Why would I waste ti on a vegetable?"

She lifted her head from her hands, with tears still lingering on her face.

Olivia’s words were truly watertight, and everything she said indeed matched the timing of Edward’s investigations.

But Edward wasn’t a fool, with so many coincidences gathered, he definitely couldn’t believe Olivia did all this just because she liked Harry Hall.

However, it’s evident that it was really difficult to get enough evidence now to deal with Olivia.

He stood up from the sofa, his piercing gaze still locked onto Olivia’s face, saying:

"You’d better indeed have done as you said. If I find out anything else, you know my thods."

Olivia was so terrified by Edward that she shivered harshly, but at the sa ti, she breathed a sigh of relief, knowing she got through this ordeal.

Thomas Smith glanced thoughtfully at Olivia.

Then, he heard Edward say, "Thomas, co with to the study."

Edward paused when he passed by his parents, saying:

"Dad, Mom, I know this matter is hard for you to accept for the mont, but since our sister has suffered so much outside for these years, we should bring her back."

After speaking, he didn’t wait for a reply from his parents and went upstairs first.

Thomas stood in place, hesitated for a mont, furrowed his brow, and followed Edward upstairs.

Afraid Thomas would sabotage things, Olivia quickly grabbed his hand, gazing at him with imploring eyes:

"Second brother."

Her eyes carried infinite unspoken aning.

Thomas understood her intention, patted her hand, and said, "Don’t worry, second brother will always stand by your side."

Thomas’s answer made Olivia secretly breathe a sigh of relief and her eyes filled with gratitude, "Thank you, second brother."

Reaching the study door, Thomas hesitated for a mont, then knocked on the door, "Big brother."
