He knows that his big brother must be looking for him because of Helen lendy.

He’s not sure if the DNA given by Harry Hall is real, and even if Helen really is his sister, so what?

A stranger he’s never interacted with, asking him to easily accept her as his sister, how is that possible?

He just can’t figure out what his brother is thinking.

A person who has always been cold and unfeeling, actually treats a stranger he has never interacted with, over a sister who has lived with him since childhood.

How can he be so heartless, does he still have a heart?

Thomas Smith beca angrier the more he thought about it, the rage that surged up within him couldn’t be suppressed.

Hearing Edward Smith’s voice from inside, "Co in."

Thomas pushed the door open and entered, not waiting for Edward to speak, he already began questioning aggressively.

"Big brother, do you really believe that Helen lendy is our sister and want to kick Olivia out of the house?"

Edward didn’t want to argue with Thomas about this matter anymore, he said directly:

"Whether Helen lendy is our sister or not, if you don’t believe it, you can personally take her hair for a DNA test yourself. But whether Olivia is our sister, Dad and Mom know, I know, and you know too!"

Edward’s gaze was cold and sharp as he looked at Thomas’s angry eyes, the sentence "you know too" struck heavily on Thomas, making his eyes turn evasive.

"I... I don’t know."

Thomas lowered his eyes, speaking sowhat hesitantly.

Edward glanced at him, not forcing him to admit it, and took an envelope from the drawer, throwing it in front of him.

The envelope had nothing written on it, yet it inexplicably made Thomas feel uneasy.

"What’s this?"

"Open it and see for yourself."

Thomas looked at Edward suspiciously, reached out and took the docunt, opening it, his expression subtly changing upon seeing the contents.

But soon, he cald down, not daring to speak recklessly, and asked:

"Big brother, what is this?"

Edward squinted his eyes, watching the flickering expression on Thomas’s face, a hint of cold sharpness passing through his eyes.

"Do you really not know what this is?"

He stood up from his chair, staring at Thomas, his voice deep and cold, "Thomas, what do you think it was that got the position of Head of this family?"

He pointed at the docunt in Thomas’s hands and said:

"This is the analysis report of the drug left in Helen lendy’s leg, did it co from you?"

Thomas’s hand holding those papers tightened slightly, though his face remained utterly calm.

"I understand. Big brother, this was told to you by Leo Hall, right?"

Such a drug, only a devil like Leo Hall could deduce the source from its individual components.

But such things, no matter how precisely judged, without enough evidence to support it, are useless.

Thomas was still very clear on this point, which is why he wouldn’t admit it in front of Edward.

As long as he didn’t admit it, what could his big brother do to him.

It’s just...

Why would this drug be in Helen lendy’s body?

Thomas’s brow furrowed imperceptibly.

Thinking of what Olivia said to their parents downstairs, could it be...

Did Olivia really like Harry Hall, and want to poison Helen lendy?

Edward did not deny Thomas’s suspicion but instead asked him back, "Did he say anything wrong?"
