CRACK! CRACK!

Fractures began to form on the surface of the golden dragon egg. With each passing minute, the cracks widened, devouring the energy of the pool. Then suddenly—

CRASH!

The eggshell shattered into glimring fragnts.

ROAR!

A mighty Draconic roar thundered through the chamber as the spectral image of a golden dragon erupted above the broken shell. Light surged from its form, drenching the pool in a divine, blinding glow. Its scales shimred like burnished gold, and the aura it radiated was regal—cleansing, commanding, absolute.

Even those without royal bloodlines felt the pull to kneel under its pressure. Those with them? They, too, trembled—reverent and shaken.

The golden dragon cast its gaze over everyone in the chamber, and when its piercing eyes t Drakion’s, they flashed with strange insight before it withdrew. As the golden dragon receded, so did the blinding light—revealing its legacy.

A Golden Dragon.

A perfect mirror of the divine beast that had appeared monts before. The glowing figure shifted, changing, refining—until its human form erged.

Surprisingly, the human manifestation was not that of a child, but a young woman in her late teens. Her hair flowed like molten gold, cascading down her shoulders. She radiated regal poise, her eyes gleaming with a holy brilliance, forged with the hardness of tempered tal. Her skin was so luminously smooth, it reflected like a polished mirror—each curve gleaming.

And her beauty... it was otherworldly. She seed not born, but descended, like a goddess walking amongst mortals.

The mont she completed her transformation, she turned her gaze toward Drakion.

"It seems I will be in your care."

Race: Golden Dragon (Royal, King)

Affinities: Light, tal

Bloodline Concentration: 100%

Cultivation: Late Stage of the Origin Saint Realm

Skills: Golden Dragon Breath, tallic Starfall, Adamantine Dragon Shell, Radiant Judgent Draconic Spear (unique to Dragon King), Golden Dragon Step

When Drakion appraised her, his jaw nearly dropped. Late Stage of the Origin Saint Realm—the highest cultivation among all dragons present.

Drakion exhaled deeply and offered a soft smile.

"Welco to the family, Mia."

He had no intention of changing the na bestowed upon her. The young lady gave a solemn nod, accepting her identity. Then, without warning, she extended her hand—

ROAR!

A golden dragon’s roar echoed once more as a radiant spear materialized—its shaft encircled by the image of a golden dragon spiraling fiercely around it, roaring in defiance. The golden beast etched itself into the weapon, becoming a divine design: a dragon eternally entwined around its spear.

When Drakion beheld the weapon, his eyes widened in disbelief. He recognized it imdiately.

"Radiant Judgent Draconic Spear..."

Ding!

Na: Radiant Judgent Draconic Spear

Weapon Type: Spear

Status: Damaged

The na was identical to the skill he’d seen the Dragon Eater use during their brutal battle. That revelation struck him—the skill must have been derived from the weapon itself. But seeing it damaged made him sigh. He had no way of knowing its rank or true potential.

"Dad..."

Drakion heard Mia’s soft voice as she cradled the spear close, gently stroking its shaft.

"It’s okay," he said softly, trying to ease her sorrow. "We’re here for you." He could see tears threatening to spill from her brilliant eyes.

"My na is Vael’Drakion Vorr," he said warmly, smiling. "And these are—" He gestured to Kaidros and the others, who quickly took turns introducing themselves.

"Greetings, everyone. My na is Mia."

She bowed gracefully, offering them a smile that could warm the dead. In the next mont, she was swept up by the girls—Lizzy, the Poison Sister, and the rest—into a tide of giggles and sisterhood.

Drakion chuckled faintly at the scene, but his attention soon shifted—to the Stone Dragon Egg, still greedily draining blood like a prodigal child refusing to stop.

The stone dragon egg was still absorbing the blood at great speed. Drakion watched as the dragon egg devoured the entire dragon blood resources, a sharp ache gripping his heart.

He looked at the stone egg—it hadn’t cracked at all—which made him sigh. Is it that the resources aren’t enough to hatch the stone egg? he wondered, curiosity and anticipation coiling in his chest. What kind of dragon lies within?

As Drakion pondered—

CRACK!

Drakion’s eyes widened. Cracks had begun to spread across the surface of the stone egg, surprising and delighting him. But after a few minutes... the cracks stalled. No further change.

Ding!

[It’s detected that the resources aren’t enough to hatch the Dragon Egg.]

[Looking for counterasures...]

[Counterasure found. Host should proceed to drip one drop of his essence blood on the dragon egg.]

When Drakion saw this, he was stunned. His essence blood? Could one drop truly bring about the hatching?

Nevertheless, he moved forward. The system—most of the ti—was right. Ninety percent, at least. As for the remaining ten percent... well...

Without hesitation, Drakion willed a single drop of his draconic essence blood to rise. It shimred with imnse power. Without wasting ti, he let it fall upon the stone dragon egg.

Little by little, the drop was absorbed, slowly and solemnly, as though the egg had to digest the overwhelming energy within.

The mont it was fully absorbed, the surroundings shifted.

Originat surged from every direction, converging upon the draconic egg like rivers flowing to a single sea. Even the sky outside Cerulean began to change, darkening and stirring with celestial unrest.

Cracks began to spiderweb rapidly across the surface of the egg, and Drakion’s heart surged with elation. The others nearby turned their eyes toward the egg as well, drawn by the growing phenonon. Mia stared, her gaze filled with emotion—she knew her father had protected this egg for countless years.

Suddenly, a subtle but terrifying pressure radiated from the egg.

Every other dragon, save for Drakion, felt the imnse weight of it press upon their bloodlines. The ones who endured it best were Kaidros, Lizzy, Mia, and the Poison Sister.

Drakion felt no pressure. But he could sense the strain on the others, and that only deepened his anticipation for what was about to erge from within.

Then, with a blinding flash—

Cracks erupted across the entire egg, and XXXXXX light burst forth, startling Drakion with its brilliance and power.
