Then, with a blinding flash—
Cracks erupted across the entire egg, and five-colored light burst forth, startling Drakion with its brilliance and power.
In the next instant, Drakion felt the summoning card for Quinn begin to burn and glow—leaving him no choice but to bring it out. It pulsed as Quinn appeared beside Drakion, his gaze fixed on the egg that was emitting radiant five-colored light.
"Young Master is still alive... and it seems he’s finally been born into this world."
For the first ti, Drakion saw a heartfelt smile on Quinn’s face as he stared at the egg.
ROAR!
A sky-rending, air-splitting Draconic roar shook the world—so fierce that the dragons nearly collapsed to their knees. If not for Quinn’s stabilizing presence, only the heavens could guess what might have happened.
Drakion turned toward the shattered remains of the stone egg. Five-colored light flared outward, and from within, a majestic dragon image erged above the brilliance.
A dragon, cloaked in five-colored scales—its eyes shimring with a kaleidoscope of hues—stood revealed. Its horns, gleaming in five radiant colors, looked as if they upheld the very cosmos. A seamless five-colored crown adorned its brow, emanating Fire Originat, Water Originat, Wood Originat, tal Originat, and Earth Originat. The dragon’s aura was untouchable, divine—a presence that defied even fate.
Ding!
[You have gained the Five-Colored Dragon Bloodline]
Ding!
[Nurous channels of Dragon bloodline now available: Earth Dragon Bloodline, tal Dragon Bloodline, Wood Dragon Bloodline, Light Dragon...]
Drakion was stunned—both delighted and astonished. Did this an that whenever he awakened a dragon bloodline comprising two or more elents, he would unlock a higher Draconic bloodline with related affinities? The thought sent shivers of wonder down his spine.
All eyes were fixed on the Five-Colored Light as it gradually faded, unveiling what lay within. Drakion’s breath caught—he had not expected this.
A one-year-old boy stood there, bathed in ethereal beauty. His five-colored hair shimred with elegance, his eyes radiated dominance and authority. His cheeks were soft and plump, yet his aura held a paradoxical mixture of cuteness and overwhelming power.
The child scanned the area, eyes finally settling on Drakion.
"Papa."
Before Drakion could even comprehend the word, a great force slamd into him as the one-year-old leaped into his arms with a tight embrace.
And at that very mont, the system decided to strike rcilessly.
Ding!
[Maturitas Session has ended. Host and others will now return to their normal forms.]
Drakion watched in resignation as he shrank back into his four-year-old form with a sigh. Noctheria and her brothers also reverted to their five-year-old bodies.
The one-year-old child looked at Drakion’s now-smaller fra in surprise, yet still—
"Papa."
He continued calling him that, clinging tightly with childish innocence yet frightening strength. Drakion was taken aback—not just by the child’s power, but by the intimacy of the bond.
"It’s truly the Young Master... Just like his father," Quinn said with a soft, respectful smile as he watched the reunion.
"Yeah, now that I think about it..." Drakion looked at Quinn curiously. "You’ve been calling him ’Young Master’ all this ti."
"Yes," Quinn nodded. "He’s the son of my Master. Just after his birth, the calamity struck. My Master had no choice but to seal him away, turning him into that stone form to protect him."
Drakion’s eyes narrowed with curiosity. "Your Master... who is he?"
Quinn’s expression grew reverent.
"My Master is the First Five Elent Dragon."
His words struck Drakion like a thunderclap, rippling waves of awe through his mind.
When Quinn saw Drakion’s shock, he chuckled.
"The disaster I’m talking about is the First Disaster, the one that ca after the disappearance of the Progenitor Dragons."
"You know the Progenitor Dragons?" Drakion asked in disbelief.
"Yes. Don’t you have one?" Quinn chuckled.
"The Progenitor Dragons were the ones who created Master and the other dragons during that ancient ti."
"Back then, Master spent countless years trying to create a descendant. He succeeded, but none could ever inherit his power as the First Five Elent Dragon. After thousands of years, he finally succeeded—but then disaster struck. The Dragon Eaters invaded. Having no knowledge of them, Master was consud. Of course, his Dragon Soul couldn’t be devoured, but it was destroyed, shattered into five fragnts—thus giving birth to the Fire Dragon, Water Dragon, tal Dragon, Wood Dragon, and Earth Dragon."
When Quinn dropped this bomb, Drakion stood frozen. He never expected such a revelation. But questions stirred in his mind.
"So... what you’re saying is that the current dragons were created after the death of the First Dragons?" Drakion asked, his voice heavy as the truth weighed down on him.
"Yes," Quinn confird, voice solemn.
"The vast Dragon Clan was birthed from the death of the First. But from your existence—and the ancient palace I’m standing in—it seems there are no more dragons. Which ans... the disaster still lingers." Quinn sighed deeply.
Drakion nodded slowly, the truth cutting deep. He looked down at the one-year-old child smiling up at him.
"But... why is he calling Papa?"
"I can feel your presence in him," Quinn replied.
"It ans he absorbed your blood in order to hatch. To hatch perfectly, he would’ve needed the blood of a Progenitor."
Drakion’s eyes widened in shock.
"Does that an... he wouldn’t have hatched if he hadn’t t ?"
Quinn looked at him knowingly.
"Don’t you understand? He’s been waiting for you. Do you even know how long he remained sealed within that egg? It’s been... millions of years."
Drakion’s heart pounded. His mind spiraled with confusion.
How?
How did they know he would be born?
He was just an average guy from Earth—an ordinary man who had no idea that fantasy truly existed... until he t the Devouring Dragon.
"It’s ti to train, Young Master," Quinn said suddenly, pulling him from his thoughts.
"The enemy can strike at any mont. I can only stay for three hours a day—since I’m not in combat form."
Drakion then spent a few monts convincing the child to follow Quinn.
"Oh, by the way," Quinn added, glancing back,
"Young Master’s na... is Vael’Elemarion."
