Hannah blinked her eyes innocently and gave a sheepish smile. Just as she was about to start explaining, the man sealed her lips.
It was just a brief kiss.
When he slightly pulled away, Arnold rested his forehead against Hannah’s, his fingertips fondling her tender skin, his expression pensive.
In the end, he only sighed softly, sat up, and went to the bathroom.
When Arnold ca out, Hannah had already changed her clothes and was sitting in front of the mirror, trying to put on her earrings.
Maybe she had just woken up and her fingers felt a bit clumsy. After several unsuccessful attempts, she threw the earrings irritably onto the table.
The round pearl decorated with a few tiny diamonds looked exceptionally valuable.
Arnold walked over, picked up the pearl earrings that Hannah had thrown on the table, and looked down at her newly made-up face, the upward curve of her eyes revealing an enticing charm.
He pinched Hannah’s tender earlobe and teased, "Are you angry over this?"
Leaning against Arnold, Hannah lazily played with her fingers, the rasp in her voice sounding soft, she complained, "It’s called morning moodiness."
