Datu grimaced after being warned by the livestream platform's moderator. As an experienced content creator who specialized in "slacking off," he knew very well that re-streaming other people's content was against the rules. Indeed, re-streaming from other platforms was forbidden, and even re-streaming from the sa platform was a violation.
This touched upon a crucial aspect of a strear's inco: stream duration. Strears had monthly hour quotas. They only received their full salary if they t the required streaming hours. So people had learned to cut corners by leaving their streams on at night, re-broadcasting others' content to rack up hours.
This was clearly against the rules. Datu's re-streaming attempt was caught within fifteen minutes. If he continued, his channel would be banned. The main problem was, Datu didn't know what to stream now.
Outdoor streams required sufficiently interesting talking points. He had originally planned to follow Renz and use him as content, but the latter decided to go back to his room to ga, leaving Datu in an awkward position.
Since they had only just t and weren't that familiar, Datu making a sudden request to stream in their room would naturally be t with annoyance. Datu wasn't so disliked as to reach that point, so he abandoned his plan to stream alongside Renz. He scrolled through Renz's food videos on Y-tube, and suddenly a "live now" notification popped up. He then started his own stream and went to Renz's channel, only to be warned by the moderator after just a few minutes of watching.
"This is boring. The moderator won't let stream, so let's go out and check out the scenery around the venue," Datu conceded. The first few tis were warnings, but continued violations would lead to direct channel bans and financial penalties.
However, as soon as Datu finished speaking, the people in his livestream unknowingly migrated to Renz's channel.
What's the point of watching this unlucky guy go out to see scenery? It's better to watch the ga stream next door. After seeing the beginning, the audience naturally realized that the ga involved not just Renz, but also Erina.
The vast internet community was now eager to interact with Renz online. Previously, in Datu's stream, there had been no opportunity for interaction. The once quiet stream was suddenly flooded with a large crowd.
"Hello, what's your relationship with Erina?"
"I declare this my public square!"
"Refugees from next door have arrived!"
"Woohoo, horror ga! Does the strear play this ga?"
Renz was stunned. The stream had suddenly beco lively, and the questions in the chat were increasing.
Many people were asking about his relationship with Erina. Amidst the dense stream of comnts, Renz picked a few frequently asked questions to answer.
"Erina is my girlfriend. I'm not sure if I play gas well, but I guess I do," Renz clarified, addressing so of the persistent questions. He figured soone must have promoted his stream, bringing many people over. After answering a few questions symbolically, he refocused his attention on the ga.
The ga's setting was quite eerie. Waking up late at night in a school gym's equipnt room alone was enough to make one's hair stand on end. The visibility was poor; the starting point was dim. Renz fumbled around for a while and found a flashlight. Visibility was limited to his imdiate vicinity; anything a little further away was pitch black.
When the flashlight was turned on, a large area within the equipnt room beca visible. Scanning around with the flashlight, he found countless blood-red handprints on the walls.
Even the glass windows of the equipnt room and the ergency exit door were covered in patches of crimson handprints. It seed as if soone had suffered agonizing tornt inside the equipnt room, then frantically banged, clawed, and punched the walls in a desperate escape. It was worth noting that when the flashlight scanned these marks, a surging heartbeat sound played just right in the headphones, intensifying the player's tension in this scenario.
The viewers in the livestream were also agitated by the heartbeat sounds and background music, but they found Renz surprisingly calm. The equipnt room door was locked. The ga's premise was that the two students had snuck into the depths of the equipnt room to nap during physical education class. The door to the equipnt room was locked by the security guard, and there was no key inside the equipnt room to leave through the main entrance. To get out, they had to break the glass window.
Renz walked to the window, and a "break window" option popped up. He said to Erina, "Stay close to , we're going out this way."
Erina, already too scared to speak by the blood handprints, quickly followed Renz's words. Renz, however, was much more interested. A horror ga wasn't real; it was just a ga, similar to a haunted house. Since it was all fake, Renz even began to admire the bloody handprints on the windowsill. He treated the ga map as a sightseeing tour.
"Don't these two handprints look a little strange?" Renz
said, pointing his mouse cursor at two handprints and speaking in Chinese to the audience.
They weren't strange initially, but with Renz saying that, and the audience staring, they too started to feel a bit odd. So viewers were actually very scared of watching horror ga streams; PC gars were, on average, timid and perverted. They weren't good at gas, owned many skins, and were especially cowardly when it ca to horror gas. But with Renz's constant odd remarks, the viewers' fear subsided significantly.
"When this vengeful spirit chops people, it also forces them into such terrible poses, how atmospheric," Renz mused after a pause. "Good thing I'm not scared of female ghosts," Renz added after his previous remark.
From the first sentence, the viewers in the chat already felt sothing was off. By the second sentence, they had every right to suspect Renz's intentions weren't pure.
As Renz finished his provocative remarks, without waiting for Erina to react, he smashed the glass window and his character flipped out. Erina could understand Chinese and was still trying to process the aning of Renz's words. All in all, they probably weren't good things. Seeing Renz jump out, she followed suit.
The two tumbled out the window. The school's dim yellow streetlights flickered, with so sections of the path completely dark. The plot dictated that to escape the school, the first place to go would naturally be the security guard's office at the school gate. Erina initially felt a lot of pressure playing. The background music, the scenery, and the occasional breathing and heart sounds maintained a constant sense of oppression.
However, Renz was too good at ruining the atmosphere, completely isolating the horror ga's vibe. He was practically turning a perfectly good horror ga into a two-person sightseeing tour.
The two jogged to the security guard's office. "What a terrible death," Renz said, sighing as he looked at the security guard, who was hacked beyond recognition inside the office.
"Traditional corpse looting," Renz said, rummaging through the security guard's belongings. He found a key to the school's classrooms and a sealed letter. This letter contained a hidden past. In horror gas, re jump scares weren't enough to be truly terrifying. If there was a plot, the thrill would increase exponentially. Renz quickly scanned the story's prologue, feeling nothing.
"Next, we find the diary, and then we enter our happily-ever-after 'teasing the ghosts' phase," Renz planned matter-of-factly. The viewers in the chat were also dumbfounded. Can you give the developers so dignity? Horror gas have dignity too, okay? And your nonchalant attitude makes us really doubt this ga's difficulty, you jerk!
"Renz, I have a question. What did you an earlier when you said you weren't scared of female ghosts?" Erina now began to revisit the previous topic. The more she thought about it, the more sothing felt off.
