----------------------------------------------------------

Three warm cups of tea sat on the living room table. Renz initially intended to pour two cups, but then, rembering Hisako Arato was also in the room, he quickly poured a third.

As Renz finished pouring the first two cups and went for the third, Hisako Arato 's mouth twitched slightly. She probably understood why the previous secretary was so eager to quit.

This environnt truly was a bit uncomfortable. Hisako wasn't physically or psychologically uncomfortable, but she felt inexplicably inserted between the two, disrupting their original harmony.

"Erina, are you really not scared at all?" Renz sat back down and turned to ask again. This was his final warning. Having Erina play a horror ga was ant to be a bit of a joke. Renz had lived with Erina for so long that he was quite familiar with her personality; this was soone who trembled while watching Resident Evil.

Resident Evil, in Renz's eyes, wasn't even a horror movie, but more like a sci-fi film.

There was a way to defeat the zombies with firearms; they weren't impossible to fight. On the contrary, Renz believed that supernatural horror was what truly evoked fear. Erina couldn't even handle non-supernatural gore, and Renz certainly didn't want Erina to bravely play a horror ga only to end up completely freaked out.

"Not scared. I looked at the images in the description of this ga, and I should be fine," Erina said with extre certainty. Just by looking at pictures, you think you're not scared? Then your self-awareness is too low! Those clear ghost images, without the accompanying background music or sudden jump scares, your tolerance is definitely much higher than when you're unprepared.

However, since Erina was so insistent, Renz wouldn't stop her. Third ti's the charm. Renz had said all he needed to say and confird that Erina wasn't joking. In that case, Renz acknowledged Erina's desire to challenge horror gas, so he'd guide her through it. With an experienced player like him, what was there to fear?

He had registered a live streaming room on Y-tube before. Due to potentially unstable network conditions, Renz chose HD streaming, which ant the video quality would be much lower.

However, Renz didn't expect many people to watch his stream, probably only a few of his very early fans. Renz also downloaded the streaming software on his laptop. He inford his fans about his stream, but he didn't tag all mbers, as others might be busy, and taging everyone might disturb them. Those who saw the ssage and wanted to watch, would watch. Renz's ambition wasn't to beco a big strear; streaming was just a hobby. Renz hadn't considered making it a profession.

As soon as Renz started streaming, one or two bullet comnts appeared. He did have fans, but without taging all mbers, only a few active group mbers saw it and ca to show support. Others either didn't see it or weren't interested in watching the stream.

This fault still lay with Renz. His live stream title was [Nothing much to do today, playing so horror gas.] With such a title, without any promotional traffic, it would be a miracle if anyone showed up. Even if soone saw this stream title in a recomnded list, they might not click on it.

If Renz had changed the stream title to [Nothing much to do today, playing so horror gas with my wife.], it would undoubtedly attract a large number of casual viewers. But... Renz didn't realize this. Or rather, he hadn't even considered deliberately using Erina's identity to gain traffic. In terms of marketing himself, Renz was clearly unqualified, which was why he hadn't beco very popular despite streaming for so many years. This was due to being too low-key, and Renz also disliked vulgar content; he couldn't bring himself to play on clichs or chase trends.

"The stream's ready, Erina. The ga's starting," Renz said to Erina beside him.

Erina nodded, wearing her headphones. Hisako Arato curiously sat behind Erina, watching their ga screens. The story's background was a school. Two students, exhausted from playing, fell asleep in the gym's equipnt room. When they woke up, it was already 9 PM.

Just as the two exhausted students were about to head ho, they discovered that the school had undergone a drastic change. Terrifying graffiti covered the walls everywhere, and the once clean and bright school building now looked like a dilapidated ruin from twenty years ago.

Inside the school, two vengeful spirits were hidden. The goal was to find a diary, which would reveal the entire storyline. Then, players had to find a cursed tombstone hidden within the academy that could break the curse. However, upon picking up the diary, players would be pursued and ambushed by the vengeful spirits. Players had to find the randomly spawning cursed tombstone on the map while being relentlessly chased by the spirits, then throw relevant items onto it to et the completion conditions. The overall content was simple, but playing it was a completely different experience.

As soon as Renz woke up, he controlled his character to search the gym's equipnt room, where a flashlight could be found. The tough-talking Erina, who was as valiant as the war god Ares before starting the ga, stiffened as soon as she entered the map. The background music was a bizarre tune that was indescribably eerie. It swayed eerily, accompanied by the cold, crisp chirping of cicadas.

She was instantly frozen. "What are you doing, standing there? Find sothing," Renz said, rolling his eyes. Looking at Erina, who was standing still, he realized that Erina's bravery, from beginning to end, was a strength.

"Oh, oh!" Erina imdiately reacted. "Don't go too far from !" The words "I'm scared" were stifled back into her mind. Erina was still a woman who cared deeply about her image.

"Don't panic, I'm sitting right next to you. Physical assistance from the sidelines, understand?" Renz noticed Erina's nervous state and comforted her. "If it's really too much, just quit directly," Renz added the next second, teasingly.

"No, you misunderstood. When I told you not to go too far from , I ant I'm afraid you'll run too far, and I won't be able to protect you, understand?" Erina bristled upon hearing Renz's words. What's with him? She wasn't scared of any ghosts!

"Is that so?" Renz was montarily stunned. He was taken aback by Erina's firm tone and couldn't imdiately distinguish between truth and falsehood.

anwhile, in another room. Datu was secretly carrying out his peeking plan. That's right. He had opened his own live stream and then clicked on Renz's live stream to watch him. Subsequently, he received a warning from the live stream platform's supervisor.
