Kyra POV :
When the wolf collapsed to the ground, I was taken aback. He looked dirty and exhausted. I quickly ran over, scanning the area outside, but there was no sign of any people.
"Hey... Wake up... Wake up," I patted him gently. Miraculously, he opened his eyes. I let out a sigh of relief.
He blinked slowly, revealing ocean blue eyes. It was the sa wolf I had t in the cave.
"Are you okay?" I asked softly, feeling an unexpected sense of calm around him.
I didn't know who had saved and brought here, but now the sa wolf was here. He must be a pet wolf, I thought.
But what happened next left completely stunned.
The wolf transford into a human. I found myself imdiately captivated by his ocean blue eyes, which now appeared bruised as if soone had punched him. His face was dirty, and I couldn't help but notice his impressive physique before quickly looking away.
A wolf can turn into a human. I repeated the thought in my mind, trying to grasp the reality of it.
"I can't believe it," I muttered, still in shock.
"Are you surprised?" he asked as he stood up. Subconsciously, I nodded my head.
"I know my handsoness can be quite shocking," he said, running a hand through his hair.
I didn't reply. I was too overwheld by what I had just seen.
"Hey, I know I'm incredibly handso, but you can't stay in such shock forever," he spoke again, moving closer to .
As he inched closer, looking intensely into my eyes, I almost wanted to slap him. However, he suddenly let out a loud scream that made want to cover my ears, snapping back to reality.
"Ahhhhhh... Darn it! They ruined my face," he said, panicked, as he looked at . "Hey, listen, I'm not usually this ugly, but those females beat . They're evil."
He looked anxious and started explaining how handso he usually was, but those evil females had made him look bad.
"Hey... Hey, calm down... You're not ugly. It will go away if you wash your face," I reassured him. I hadn't even figured out where I was, and here I was, comforting this wolf-man.
"But why did they beat you?" I asked, looking at the wounds on his body. Tears started welling up in his eyes, his entire gaze filled with unshed tears.
He looked so sad. I felt bad for him.
"They... they *sniffle* beat because... they always liked , but... and when they found out I brought you ho, they beca jealous. I went to tell them I didn't like them... but... but *sniffle* they beat ... I know their evil plans..." he spoke, pulling onto the sofa animatedly.
I felt sorry for him. How could anyone beat such a cute guy?
"Oh god! They've beaten you so badly. But why didn't you fight back?" I asked, and he looked at and shook his head.
"I can't fight back... I respect females," he said, rubbing his face, his nose turning red. Then he looked at and smiled.
My heart lted at his smile.
"Let's forget about those an females. But what should I do? I have dark circles and dirty skin." he started getting anxious again.
"Why don't you wash your face? And for the dark circles, you can apply an ice pack," I suggested, and his eyes lit up.
"You're right! Sotis my brain simply doesn't work because I don't use it, so others won't feel dumb," he said, running into one of the cottage rooms.
"..." I stood there speechless, watching his retreating figure.
