"I'm sorry, Patriarch. I swear I will never do that again," Pitiful Wolf Lucas said, lowering his head in sha. He was being scolded because he had run away from his duties without informing anyone.
"I rember you saying the sa thing the previous three tis you ran away," Patriarch Tim replied, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Oh, I don't rember," Lucas said, feigning ignorance. Of course, he rembered, but he figured if he didn't admit it, the Patriarch would have no choice but to move on.
"Oh, really? I have nothing to say then." Tim rolled his eyes and walked away. Lucas cheered silently as he watched him leave.
On his way back to his cottage, he saw a group of females laughing and pointing at him. Lucas felt bad for them. They always talked about him whenever he passed by. They must like him, he thought.
He decided to break the news to them. "Females," Lucas called out, making a sad face as he approached them. The females looked at him with raised eyebrows, confused by his sudden address.
"It's sad news for you guys... I know you all have a crush on ... But sadly, I already have a female I like, so you should forget about ," Lucas said with dramatic emotion, feeling genuinely sorry for them.
"What?" one of the females nad Selly shouted. The group exchanged glances and nodded in unison.
"Ahhh... owww!" Lucas cried out as the females suddenly started beating him. "Don't beat ... You guys are ruining my handso face," Lucas whined, feeling punches on his eyes.
"You shaless wolf!" one of the females shouted.
"I know you like ... But you don't have to beat ... I know you just want to touch my body," Lucas said, feeling the hands and fists land on him. He felt assaulted and made a crying face.
"What can we do about him?" one of the speechless females muttered.
"Leave alone! I don't like you," Lucas pleaded, only to be beaten again.
"We don't like you," Selly said through gritted teeth.
"I know you like my handso face... And you're sad because I have a mate and I'm denying you," Lucas said arrogantly.
"Owwwwwww!" Lucas scread loudly, running away with his tail tucked between his legs.
"I know why he didn't get a female even though he was strong," Gia said, shaking her head.
"I feel sorry for the female Lucas wants to mate with," Selly added, and the other females nodded in agreent.

Lucas kicked a stone, feeling sorry for himself. Today, he had been badly beaten by the females. Heh! They must want to ruin my handso face so my female rejects and they can have a chance with him, he thought.
"Dream on," he muttered angrily, raising his tail as he walked inside his cottage.
Thump-thump.
Thump-thump.
Thump-thump.
Lucas's heart almost leaped out of his throat when he saw a female with long red hair standing in his living room. His eyes turned into hearts, and he felt bubbles of joy rising within him.
Her hazel eyes locked onto his, and he almost had a heart attack. Her fair skin and soft lips attracted him so much that he forgot about his grievances.
"Um... hi," Kyra said, smiling softly and a little embarrassed.
And..
BOOM---
The wolf fell to the ground with a thud, his forelimbs raised.
"Ehh... What?" Kyra said, looking at the wolf in confusion.
