A Demon Race mber looked anxiously towards the Cave Entrance. "We need to find a way to seal the entrance," he said.
Seal the Cave Entrance?
Indeed, if the Cave Entrance wasn’t sealed, this place could easily beco a vent once the Snow surged in.
There were too many inexplicable things in this Secret Realm. Who could guarantee there were no Demonic Creatures within the Snow?
Therefore, sealing the Cave Entrance was the only choice!
The Young Leader of the Golden Lion Race acted first. He used his Cultivation Technique to move a boulder and block the Cave Entrance. Only then did all the Demon Race mbers breathe a sigh of relief.
Safe? No! It seed they were now trapped in here.
"Fox QiQi, have the Elders of your Nine-Tailed Fox Race ever ntioned anything about this Cave?" the Young Leader of the Golden Lion Race asked, turning his head.
The other Demon Race mbers also looked over, seemingly pinning all their hopes on Fox QiQi.
The center of attention, Fox QiQi, gently shook her head. She had only heard the Elders ntion a Cave but didn’t know its specific details.
So now, their situation was indeed quite passive.
Seeing this, a tremor ran through the hearts of all the Demon Race mbers. Are we really trapped in here?
CLICK!
Suddenly, a beam of light shone out. Although it wasn’t very bright, it still illuminated the dim Cave sowhat.
All the Demon Race mbers turned their heads towards the source of the light.
It was Junlin. He held a Flashlight, scrutinizing the inside of the Cave, seemingly unconcerned about their current predicant.
"Human, what Spiritual Artifact are you holding?" Fox QiQi stepped forward, staring at the Flashlight in Junlin’s hand. Her curiosity about the Profound Yellow Sect grew even stronger.
His Communication Ring had already surprised her, and now this Flashlight was another marvel. These Spiritual Artifacts were far more convenient than many of their own.
"A Flashlight," Junlin replied, then continued to inspect the Cave.
The Demon Race mbers, seeing a Flashlight for the first ti, subconsciously assud it was a newly refined Spiritual Artifact from the Human Race.
"Such strong light! It’s blinding!"
"I don’t even dare to look directly at the light from this Spiritual Artifact! The Human Race’s Refining skills are truly formidable."
"And their talking Ring—it can directly contact people all the way out in the Wilderness!"
"Although the Human Race’s overall Power might be weaker, their proficiency in Refining and Alchemy is the strongest among all races!"
Listening to their comnts, Junlin frowned slightly. It wasn’t because of their talk, but because of this Cave! It’s man-made! The walls are covered in artificial marks. This must have been dug by humans seeking refuge here previously, and later discovered by the Demon Race. The Cave is vast. I wonder if there’s another exit.
"Human, is there sothing you’d like to say?" Fox QiQi asked, noticing Junlin’s change in expression.
Junlin nodded slightly. "This place isn’t natural. I suspect there might be another exit. We need to look for it."
Instantly, the Demon Race mbers’ eyes lit up, and they began to look around.
The Cave was large enough to accommodate all of them, and there were even traces of previous visitors.
Perhaps this place had indeed been dug as a refuge, and there really might be another exit.
The Demon Race mbers sprang into action. Junlin, however, unhurriedly found a flat spot and took out a few Storage Rings from his Communication Ring.
After examining them for a mont, he selected one Storage Ring and returned the others to his Communication Ring.
Then, from the selected Storage Ring, he took out so Firewood, a Big Black Pot, and the Corpse of a Sea Race Shrimp Soldier.
These were Corpses collected by Players. Stored in the Storage Ring, there was no need to worry about them spoiling. After all, Players wouldn’t waste food.
As the Firewood caught fla, the Big Black Pot was set up, and Little Boss’s secret Hot Pot seasoning was added.
Soon, an enticing aroma began to waft through the Cave.
"What’s that sll? It’s so fragrant! Is soone cooking?"
"Not sure. The scent seems to be coming from over there. Shall we take a look? It won’t delay our search for an exit."
"It’s that Human. He seems to be hungry and has started cooking here."
"Impressive. The Human Race really knows how to live. They even brought all this into the Secret Realm! Wait, is he eating Sea Race creatures?"
The Demon Race mbers also noticed Junlin’s activities. They stared curiously, eager to see how he was creating such an appetizing sll.
Even Fox QiQi and the Young Leader of the Golden Lion Race walked over, standing beside Junlin, their eyes fixed on the soup simring in the Big Black Pot.
Junlin ignored them, instead expertly processing the Shrimp Soldier Corpse. Off ca the head, then he peeled the shell and de-veined it! All in one smooth motion!
A whole piece of tender shrimp at appeared before the eyes of all the Demon Race mbers.
Unfortunately, Junlin wasn’t a professional, so his preparation wasn’t exactly top-notch. If Little Boss and the others had handled it, it would likely have been even better.
While waiting for the pot to boil, Junlin also gathered so Spiritual dicine. Can’t just eat at. Pairing it with so greens would be good.
Seeing him take out Spiritual dicine as well, the Demon Race mbers felt numb. Is this human really here to compete with us for a slot in the Secret Realm? Why does it always seem like this guy is just here to have fun? Sleeping, eating, drinking... While other races scramble to survive, is he just focused on eating and drinking well?
"Don’t crowd around! Go find the exit!" Fox QiQi said to the other Demon Race mbers, swallowing hard to suppress her own cravings as she turned away.
Beside her, the Young Leader of the Golden Lion Race also turned away helplessly.
Although they were Demon Race, they wouldn’t resort to snatching things from a Human Race mber. Of course, it was also because they knew they couldn’t win against him.
After all, their reputation preceded them. Although only ten Profound Yellow Sect Disciples had co to the Central Domain, it was those ten who had annihilated the Feixian Sect.
Even the Sea Race and the Demon Race had acknowledged the Profound Yellow Sect’s strength.
The Demon Race had co in large numbers this ti, but there was probably not a single one among them who could truly challenge a Profound Yellow Sect Disciple.
If ten of them could wipe out the Feixian Sect, then this one person could surely deal with all of them with ease.
The Demon Race mbers weren’t stupid. After all, they too were a significant power in the Northern Wilderness.
Even if they usually had no contact with the Profound Yellow Sect, they knew what kind of existence it was in the Northern Wilderness. They couldn’t afford to provoke them.
Rember how many Sea Race mbers had gone looking for trouble with the Profound Yellow Sect in the past? And the result? Didn’t they flee, miserably beaten?
Even the Demon Race had been nearly annihilated by the Profound Yellow Sect’s Leader. If the Demon Emperor hadn’t intervened at the last mont, those demons would likely have all perished in the Endless Sea.
Therefore, these Demon Race mbers wouldn’t needlessly provoke such a formidable foe.
"Want to eat too?" Junlin suddenly asked, turning his head. "I brought plenty of food, though most of it is seafood. Interested?"
Upon hearing this, the eyes of the Demon Race mbers imdiately lit up.
The Young Leader of the Golden Lion Race was already impatient. He strode quickly to Junlin’s side. "Seriously? You still have food?"
"Yep." As he spoke, Junlin took out more Sea Race Corpses, mixed with large chunks of ice, and tossed them onto the ground.
Instantly, the temperature in the Cave dropped noticeably.
Outside, the world was ice and snow. Inside the Cave, now with the frozen Sea Race creatures, the air beca truly bone-chilling.
Junlin placed the prepared shrimp at into the pot, tossed in more Spiritual dicine, then stirred it all with chopsticks for a mont.
"I also brought Barbecue Seasoning, but the Barbecue Grill isn’t with . If you want to barbecue, you’ll have to improvise."
Junlin handed over a large bag of Seasoning. "When you barbecue the at, just grab a handful and sprinkle it on. Rember not to overcook it. Keep turning it constantly; that’s how you get delicious results."
The Young Leader of the Golden Lion Race looked at the Seasoning in his hands and instinctively brought it to his nose for a sniff.
ACHOO!
The pungent aroma made him sneeze involuntarily. But he had to admit, the Seasoning slled quite good. And while they knew how to Barbecue, they weren’t as skilled as humans. With this Seasoning, we can definitely make delicious Barbecue!
"Everyone, stop what you’re doing and process these Sea Race Corpses imdiately! Fire Bear Race, get ready! Other races, help turn the at!" the Young Leader of the Golden Lion Race instructed. "I’ll handle sprinkling this Barbecue Seasoning. Fire Bear Race, control the Fire Control carefully—don’t burn the at until it’s inedible! Let’s eat our fill, then we’ll continue searching for the exit!"
