Where am I now?

Junlin looked around at the mbers of the Demon Race, his entire face darkening. He had been taken directly to a Deep Valley by the Demon Race, and even he was no longer sure of his precise location.

He had originally already reached the Dense Forest, with the Wilderness close at hand.

But what happened?

After taking a nap, he woke up to find he had seemingly left his starting point, only to end up even further from his destination.

Fox QiQi, looking puzzled, stared at the Communication Ring in Junlin’s hand for a long ti.

Finally, out of curiosity, she asked, "Human, is that the latest Spiritual Artifact? That’s not a Capture Image on it, is it?"

Just as she finished speaking, Luo Yuan’s voice ca through.

"Junlin, who are you with? Why do I hear a woman’s voice?"

On the screen that popped up from the Communication Ring, Luo Yuan’s large face zood in, peering from various angles as he searched for the source of the voice.

Junlin rolled his eyes and panned the Communication Ring over the Demon Race mbers present.

Seeing each Demon Race mber staring back with shocked and puzzled expressions, Luo Yuan couldn’t help but gulp.

Good grief, Luo Yuan thought. It’s densely packed with Demon Race mbers. Did he fall directly into a Demon Race den?

"I had already reached the Dense Forest," Junlin said helplessly, "but I was so exhausted I fell asleep. Who knew I’d wake up here with the Demon Race."

He added, "I don’t even know my current location, but it must be far from the Wilderness."

Indeed, the safe spot the Demon Race had found was far from the Wilderness. To get to the Wilderness from there, one would have to cross the Volcano and then traverse a mountain range just to reach the Dense Forest. It could be said their current location was the deepest part of the entire Secret Realm.

Of course, Fox QiQi was unaware of this. An Elder of the Demon Race had told her about this location, saying she could bring her people here to seek temporary refuge for so ti. Later, they could choose to leave and find another safe spot.

However, it now seems the Human Race has better safe spots, she thought.

"Actually, it might be for the best that you didn’t make it," Luo Yuan explained. "If you had co from the Dense Forest towards the Wilderness, you would have encountered a Red-robed Ghost. That thing is currently lurking at the entrance of the Dense Forest."

He continued, "If possible, stay with the Demon Race mbers for now. Once Dung Beetle and the others wake up, I’ll tell them about the situation."

"Okay, sorry to trouble you," Junlin replied, abandoning the thought of returning.

It’s unrealistic for to attempt the journey alone again now. This route is much farther than the one I previously traveled. How can I possibly make the journey? The sky is full of bizarre birds; if I fly up, I’ll beco their prey. On the ground, there are even more Demonic Creatures. If my luck is bad, I could easily die!

From their conversation, Fox QiQi realized her mistake. This human had clearly intended to et up with others and had been on the verge of succeeding, yet she had unintentionally led him even farther away.

At this thought, Fox QiQi felt too embarrassed to look at Junlin.

She had thought this human would be grateful to her. Now, it seed it was a blessing he wasn’t blaming her.

"Where are we now?" Junlin asked, turning back.

"Um, we’re almost at the Snow Mountain pass," Fox QiQi said awkwardly. "I didn’t intentionally bring you here. We’re all from the Cultivation Realm, so I just thought of taking you along. Who knew you were headed to the Wilderness beyond the Dense Forest."

The reminder only made Junlin’s heart sink.

We’re already almost at the Snow Mountain pass!

I rember seeing the general layout from a cliff edge earlier: the Snow Mountain is beyond the Volcano, incredibly far from the Wilderness. The Demon Race possess their unique Talents, but I have no such thing! So, if I want to return, I’ll have to travel on foot. And given the current situation, it seems unlikely these Demon Race mbers will be willing to leave with .

Not long after Junlin disconnected the call, a wolf Demon covered in white fur rushed in, surprisingly still bearing a lot of Snow on its body!

"Avalanche! We can’t stay here any longer!" the wolf Demon shouted as soon as it entered. The other Demon Race mbers nearby shot up in panic, looking over.

They were close to the Snow Mountain; an avalanche would be a fatal disaster for them!

At that mont, the entire ground began to shake, starkly revealing the terrifying scale of this avalanche.

"It’s too late!" the Young Leader of the Golden Lion Race exclaid, turning his head. "If we try to leave the valley now, we’ll likely run straight into the avalanche. Escape will be impossible."

Upon hearing this, the Demon Race mbers fell into utter disarray.

Could it be that by entering this Deep Valley, we’ve dug our own graves?

Fox QiQi scanned her surroundings and said in a solemn voice, "Find the Cave! The Elder ntioned there’s a large Cave here. If we find it, we should be able to take shelter from the avalanche!"

As soon as her voice fell, all the Demon Race mbers rose and began searching the periter of the valley.

anwhile, heavy Snow began to pour into the mouth of the valley, completely blocking the exit. It wouldn’t be long before it swallowed the entire valley.

"Found it!"

A Demon Race mber discovered the Cave beneath so vines on the valley cliff and imdiately alerted all the others to head that way.

As the avalanche surged in, the Demon Race mbers poured into the Cave one after another.

Junlin, having no other choice, followed them inside.

The mont he stepped into this Cave, pairs of distinctive Demon Race eyes fixed on him, a truly chilling sight.
