Everyone seed visibly surprised.

Noah Coldson spoke first, "Doesn’t he like Little May quite a lot? He’s brought her back to the old house several tis."

"Could it be that now he has a son, he finds Little May annoying?" Lola Gold frowned, "That Cooper Coldson is truly a complete scumbag."

Adam Sterling couldn’t help but say, "With the Coldson Family’s wealth, supporting ten more children wouldn’t even be a problem. Besides, Ella clearly needs a playmate right now, what he’s doing does seem a bit strange."

"What’s strange about it?" Lola swore, "Don’t use normal logic to think about him. He’s just scum. I hope he spends the rest of his life eating instant noodles without seasoning packets."

Adam Sterling couldn’t help but laugh, "He might never buy instant noodles in his lifeti."

"Whose side are you on?" Lola glared at him, then turned to Yolanda Greenwood and said, "Since you’re taking her back, let her play with Ella. With five billion, our Yolanda could easily raise a few more kids."

Yolanda smiled wryly, "Truth be told, I’ve been wanting to bring May back for a while now. This is better."

Everyone else nodded in agreent.

Yolanda thought for a mont, then got up to call lissa Greenwood, the call connected quickly.

"Cooper Coldson must have told you that he wants to bring back Little May," Yolanda started.

"He did." lissa’s voice didn’t show anything unusual, "But the child is attached to ; she’s crying and fussing a lot. Give a few days, I’ll send her over."

"Sure." Before hanging up, Yolanda added, "Don’t worry, even if I bring May back, I won’t say anything unnecessary."

lissa soon hung up the phone. She didn’t believe Yolanda’s assurance at all.

She couldn’t keep Little May with her now, but she absolutely couldn’t let her return to Yolanda either. She needed to think of another plan.

The next morning, lissa woke up Little May, "May, wake up. Don’t forget we’re going to the amusent park today."

"Yay, yay!" Little May jumped up and down excitedly.

lissa carefully helped her change clothes and dolled her up, "Wonderful, our May is the cutest little princess in the world."

Little May threw her arms around lissa’s neck, rubbing her face against hers, "Mommy is also the best mommy in the world."

"Really?" lissa’s eyes flashed with a montary emotion but quickly returned to normal, "Alright, stop dawdling now. Mommy needs to change clothes too, then we’ll head out."

Little May put on her shoes and followed lissa, "Mommy, does the amusent park open this early?"

lissa glanced down at her, "You do know quite a lot, don’t you?"

She explained while searching for clothes, "We’ll have breakfast first, then go to the amusent park; it will definitely be open by then."

"What are we having?" Little May tilted her head and asked.

lissa squatted down and stroked her head, "Whatever you want, May."

"Yay!" Little May spun around happily, "Mommy is being so good to today."

lissa’s hands paused mid-action while looking for clothes. She had a strange feeling that this little girl might have figured sothing out, "What? Has Mommy not been good to you before?"

"Good!" Little May replied loudly, "But should we call Uncle Coldson along? He said last ti that he wanted to go to the amusent park too."

"No calling!" lissa’s face darkened, "Rember, Uncle Coldson finds you annoying now and wants to send you away. Don’t bother him anymore."

"Oh." Little May’s excitent dampened considerably.

"Alright, go wash your face and brush your teeth. We’re heading out soon." lissa nudged her away.

She knew Little May might have sensed sothing, but what could a child barely three years old do?

She wasn’t worried at all.

After changing, lissa walked into the living room to find Little May waiting patiently.

"Mommy, you’re ready!" Little May ran up cheerfully, hugging lissa’s leg tightly, "Mommy looks so pretty today! Are we wearing matching outfits?"

"Yes, our May is so smart!" lissa gently pinched Little May’s cheek, then took her hand and headed out.

She didn’t drive today and opted for a taxi instead. First, they had the desserts Little May wanted, then the mother-daughter duo went to the amusent park.

The amusent park was huge and crowded. lissa bought Little May a sunflower balloon, "Hold onto this."

"Thanks, Mommy!" Little May ran around happily holding the balloon.

"Stay right here and don’t wander off. Mommy is going to buy tickets." lissa squatted down and instructed her softly.

"Okay." Little May nodded enthusiastically.

lissa walked off toward the ticket counter.

Holding her balloon, Little May ran around nearby. She kept glancing at her mommy standing in the line not far away, feeling a strong unease in her heart.

Today, she absolutely couldn’t lose her mommy.

She noticed her mommy talking to a man wearing a baseball cap and a face mask. Little May didn’t recognize him.

Little May felt scared, and once the man left, she ran over, "Mommy, I’ll wait here with you."

"Alright." lissa frowned slightly.

People waiting in line nearby praised her repeatedly upon seeing how obedient Little May was.

"Is this your daughter? She’s so adorable and well-behaved. How old is she?"

lissa forced a smile, "Three."

She didn’t want too many people to rember Little May, so she waved her hand dismissively, "May, play sowhere a bit further away. Mommy will join you after buying the tickets."

"How about here?" Little May obediently took a step back, "I want to stay close to Mommy."

The people in line imdiately chid in, urging lissa, "Just let her stay here. She’s not running around. She’s so well-behaved and sticks to her mommy."

lissa forced a smile again, only wanting to quickly finish buying the tickets.

Ten minutes later, she finally got the tickets and promptly took Little May away.

Inside the amusent park, lissa asked Little May, "What do you want to play?"

"Sothing I can play with Mommy." Little May’s answer was still particularly sweet and knowing.

lissa frowned unhappily but didn’t imdiately refuse. After all, their mother-daughter bond was about to co to an end. She began flipping through the park map.

"Let Mommy find sothing!"

lissa picked out a few gas and took Little May to play together. Little May was overjoyed, but lissa noticed she was unusually clingy today.

That wouldn’t do.

By noon, lissa took Little May to a kids’ restaurant filled with people.

Little May hesitated at the door, pulling on lissa, "Mommy, can we eat sowhere else? There are so many people here."

"Be good, May. The food inside is healthy and suitable for you." lissa let go of Little May’s hand, "Or you wait here, and Mommy will co out after buying the food. Then we’ll find another place to eat."
