Aselia’s POV

I couldn’t sleep that night. Not for a second, what the hell was wrong with ? I kept thinking about how he had embraced , the warmth he emitted, and how softly he stroked my hair. These feelings and emotions, where were they coming from? I needed to get my priorities straight or I won’t be able to focus on my mission.

I knew Yurian would make contact with tomorrow. I had to go upstairs, maybe I could make an excuse to visit Madam Marci in order to acquire so juice at the allocated ti. Yes, that would work. I knew we had to go through the lobby to reach the kitchen, so that would be a perfect ti.

I planned everything as best as I could before finally drifting off to the realm of sleep. The next morning Frila brought my breakfast and we conversed for a while. She told Xiran had gone on so urgent business and wasn’t at the hotel. It was an optimum opportunity for to make contact with Yurian. The timing was the key, I had to be very precise.

At midday, I called Frila and told her I was too cooped up and would like to stretch my legs a bit by going into the kitchen and getting a bite to eat with Madam Marci. She agreed to take under her supervision.

I changed into a black hoodie with a front pocket located at the abdominal part. I covered my head with the hoodie to hide my ears. Frila arrived soon enough and we made our way up. I was hoping Yurian would have arrived at the hotel by now.

Fritez City was known for its casinos so people ca here for gambling from all over the world. It was also a hub for the Supernatural with all kinds of creatures flocking here to find their kinks ranging from whoring to drinking human blood to acquiring human slaves. To carry out successful covert operations in Frietz City was near impossible, due to its dense supernatural population.

The city was strewn with hotels, motels, and spas. It was located near the ocean so was also a renowned tourist spot. Tourists mostly rich ones travelled here to fulfil their innermost desires or spend so ti at the ocean drinking away their days and flaunting their money. Everything was available in this city for the right price.

Xiran’s hotel was an acclaid five-star hotel where the rich and famous stayed during their stay in Fritez City. They were very thorough with the paperwork but anyone with money and access could reserve a room in the hotel and that’s exactly what Yurian had done. He will now be in the lobby dressed as a rich tourist waiting for to pass through.

We climbed the stairs and headed for the lobby to reach the kitchen. Frila was right next to as my heart thudded in my chest, I took a deep breath and cald myself down. My eyes scanned the lobby carefully but I couldn’t spot Yurian anywhere. Damnit, I only had a window of a few minutes, where was this asshole.

Suddenly, soone collided with . "Hey, watch where you are going, Mister," I yelled when the boy who had bumped into tried to straighten up. He had a champagne glass in his hand as he wobbled again ready to fall.

"Careful there Sir," Frila stated as she turned to call a bellboy for help. The boy who had collided with suddenly winked before falling to the ground and acting as if he had fainted. I so wanted to roll my eyes at him. What an over-actor. But he had done his part as my pocket felt heavier than before.

"Let’s go Aselia," they will pick him up it’s a normal sight here. She tugged forward as we moved toward the kitchen, which had sa hustle and bustle going on. Madam Marci was happy to see as I wasn’t here to cook and just drink so juice and chat with her.

After half an hour, Frila dropped back in my room with instructions not to co out as she locked it from the outside before leaving. As soon as I heard her footsteps going away, I rushed to the bathroom and locked it behind .

Then I carefully emptied the contents of my pocket and placed them on the side of the sink. Yurian dressed as a tourist had collided with in the lobby and transferred a small communication device and a special weapon designed to put a vampire to sleep. It was the size of my index finger with a sharp blade at the front and a small vial behind it containing a special liquid used to drowse vampires.

I placed the weapon to a side and picked up the communication device. Plugging the earbud into the device I placed the other in my ear and turned it on.

"Zzzz...." it buzzed before I heard Yurian: "White Falcon, do you copy?"

"I copy, asshat," That’s what I called him.

"You are welco by the way, what’s your status? Are you alright?" Yurian asked concerned.

"Is our channel secure?" I inquired.

"It is, no one can hear us." He assured .

"I am in and no one suspects anything. Xiran has held only one party so far and our target was not present. I am waiting for the next one now to see if he turns up." I gave him my status report.

"Good, try to get closer to Xiran. Maybe he will give you so information." Yurian instructed.

"Highly doubt that, he is too smart for that." During the little ti I had co to know Xiran, I knew he was exceptionally smart and would not make a mistake like that.

"Try to be his lover, that cold heart of yours might lt a bit." Yurian chuckled at the other end.

"You realize I am going to kill you when we et." I gritted my teeth at him as he chuckled at my helplessness.

"By the way, how is he look wise? Yurian was curious.

"He is alright," my heart skipped a beat talking about him and my cheeks began to flush.

"Alright, White Falcon, hang in there. I will give your status report to headquarters. So far so good, this channel will remain open because one of us will always remain in the hotel. In case anything goes wrong, try to contact us. We will pull you out instantly. Rember, your life is important so don’t overdo it, understood?"

"Understood, I should get going now before anyone finds out."

"Till the next ti, White Falcon." And he disconnected. I quickly gathered the device and weapon and ca out of the bathroom. Taking out my block heels, I opened the secret compartnt in them and carefully placed both device and vial in them. Closing the compartnts I placed them back in the cupboard. I had made first contact, everything was right on target.
