Chapter 828: Chapter 12 Lilight Chapter 828: Chapter 12 Lilight Link had not yet returned ho.

Dean Frist ca to visit.

This was the first ti Jasmine had to receive Dean Frist alone.

Even though she was a Third Level Wizard, without Link by her side, Jasmine still felt sowhat ill at ease.

The Dean was not only a dean, but also a level six sage, and rumors had it that he could breakthrough at any ti and advance to a Level Seven Great Sage.

Jasmine took out the top-quality black tea that Link had personally made and stored, trying her best to calm down as she brewed a pot of tea.

Dean Frist was very affable, and although he did not offer warm inquiries about their welfare, he spoke with gentle words.

This surprised Jasmine, but it made her even more cautious.

She knew that the Dean’s kindness was not due to her, but because of Link.

It was very important to know her place.

Seeing this, Dean Frist smiled and did not put any more pressure on Jasmine.

After leaving the eting hall and on the way back to his new ho, Link received a visitor notification from his smart steward.

Discovering that Dean Frist had paid a visit to his new ho, Link hastened his pace.

Having only taken a few sips of the black tea, Dean Frist saw Link, who had hurried back.

“I’ve co on short notice without a prior appointnt, I hope I haven’t disturbed you.”

Setting down his teacup, Dean Frist was the first to speak, expressing his apologies.

“How could it be a disturbance, welcoming the Dean is an honor.”

Link glanced briefly at Jasmine, who relaxed a little, and responded with a smile.

“Hmm.”

Dean Frist did not continue with pleasantries. “Between us, we needn’t bother with such empty formalities. Why I am here, Link, you surely understand.”

Upon hearing this, Link fell silent, unsure of how to respond.

Seeing this, Jasmine quietly left the living room, heading upstairs, leaving space for the Dean and Link.

As a mber of the managent of the Tower of the Great Sage Mitchell, Cowell Ludville, a level six sage, would certainly not speak recklessly on such an important matter.

So, regardless of what Great Sage Mitchell’s true intentions were in deciding to give up the Mitchell District,

the conditions proposed by the Great Sage Tower could not be false.

From this action, Link perceived the importance the Tower of Great Sage Mitchell—or the Great Sage himself—placed on him, but he did not feel respected.

Lady Lisandra’s knee-jerk reaction might have been influenced by sothing that had caused her to lose composure, also revealing part of her true thoughts.

That is, to trade a Link Grande for the Mitchell District, the deal could be done!

Whether it was Cowell Ludville, representing Great Sage Mitchell and the Great Sage Tower, or Lady Lisandra, at that mont, both of them had objectified Link.

It was not to the point of wounding his self-esteem, but it did make Link quite displeased.

Recollections of certain records he had read and so personal experiences surged to mind.

Lanny Taylor once ntioned in passing, how during a competition among the five great wizard forces, a quiet conversation among several team leaders had erged.

It turned out, not only apprentices and official wizards could be treated as goods to be traded back and forth.

In the eyes of Level Eight Great Sages, what was a Fourth Level Sage accounted for?

If they took a liking to you and wanted to buy you out, that was your honor!

However, Dean Frist did not remain silent. Instead, he spoke very seriously, “Link, rest assured, my visit is to give you a promise. Whatever the intentions of Great Sage Mitchell, let’s not ntion it for now, but his actions show great disrespect towards you. I, we at Ravensmouth College, are different. No matter what, we do not agree to such a supposed trade. You are a wizard, a sage, and you deserve respect.”

“Thank you, Dean.”

Link expressed his heartfelt thanks, though his mood improved only slightly.

After all, Dean Frist was unable to make a final decision on this matter.

Ultimately, they would have to wait for the decision of Great Sage Revo.

If Great Sage Revo wanted to easily take over the Mitchell District, no amount of promises from Dean Frist would be useful.

Dean Frist did not continue on this topic.

Having expressed his stance and respect clearly was enough.

What mattered now was the actual action.

After discussing so of his recent thoughts on the Construction Wizard Sect with Link, Dean Frist took his leave.

Elsewhere.

At Ruiwo Suosi Academy’s headquarters world.

Lady Lisandra really did, as Dean Frist said, seek answers from her grandparents, the Great Sages Revo and Seuss.

“You’re talking about this matter.”

After listening to his granddaughter’s account, Great Sage Revo laughed, “That old fellow Mitchell is deliberately trying to trip us up.”

Lisandra was of course aware of this but did not know the specific details.

Luckily, Great Sage Revo did not have any penchant for suspense and straightforwardly explained:

“The word on the street is that the old man Mitchell’s delusional attempt to revive the Mysterious Wizard Faction has failed. The contingencies left by the Saint of Nostrodamus prior to his demise are ultimately not sothing a Level Nine Great Sage can bypass. Unless the five Saints of the Supre Council make a move, it’s nearly impossible for the Mysterious Wizard Faction to reerge. Unless the Saint of Nostrodamus is successfully resurrected. So…”

Pausing for a mont, Great Sage Revo’s tone beca even more jovial: “So, that old man Mitchell, wanting to beco a Saint before he dies, only has two paths left. One is to establish his own wizard sect and ascended to sainthood; the other is to venture into a parallel universe and chase a chance.”

At this point, Great Sage Seuss interjected, “What two paths? If Mitchell could establish his own path, would he still need to restore the Mysterious Wizard Faction? His only option is to try his luck in a parallel universe.”
