Chapter 829: Chapter 12: In the Lilight_2 Chapter 829: Chapter 12: In the Lilight_2 “After my death, why should I care if the flood is overwhelming!”

The Great Sage Ravensmouth scoffed, his tone dripping with sarcasm, “With Mitchell’s temperant, as long as he can beco a Saint, no price is too high. To secure the first spot to venture into the Parallel Universe, Mitchell readily agreed to five Saints of the Supre Council to vacate the Mitchell District before leaving.”

At this point, Lady Lisandra suddenly understood the whole story.

It really was as Cowell Ludville had said, Great Sage Mitchell had truly decided to give up the Mitchell District.

But why replace Link Grande?

Seeing the confusion in Lisandra’s eyes, Great Sage Revo suddenly sighed and said, “I can’t tell if I’m lucky or not. A special ‘Alien Guest’ has fallen into my area, and a little guy even more special than the ‘Alien Guest’ also ended up in my area.”

“Link Grande?”

Lisandra asked jokingly, “In what way is he more special than Elise Clark?”

Great Sage Revo stood up, slightly tilted his head, his gaze piercing through ti and space, looking into the unknown.

His aura beca ethereal and elusive.

Sage Seuss gently waved his sleeves and deflected the impact felt by Lisandra, then explained, “The High Council has confird that the Saint of Nostrodamus has been resurrected, and it’s closely related to Link Grande.”

“Ah?”

Lisandra exclaid in shock, stunned, “Already resurrected?”

The Annihilation Saint, resurrected without a sound.

This piece of news was like a thunderclap ringing beside her ear, leaving Lisandra completely dumbstruck.

It was too sudden!

“Mitchell still can’t let go,” Sage Seuss suddenly lanted.

Lisandra understood.

Great Sage Mitchell, in his pursuit to beco a Saint, had not given up on reviving the Mysterious Wizard Faction.

Through Link Grande, he could find the just-resurrected Nostrodamus Saint, who had neither power nor force, and either through intimidation or temptation, had a certain chance of getting what Great Sage Mitchell wanted.

On this issue, Lady Lisandra asked her grandparents so more questions, then left in shock.

Great Sage Revo and Sage Seuss each went about their own business.

A while later, Sage Seuss spoke faintly, “Why didn’t you want to tell Lisandra the real inside story?”

“Is it necessary?”

Great Sage Revo settled back across from Sage Seuss.

“It is necessary. You know, Lisandra’s thoughts and actions tend to be extre, and I do not wish for us to face the hostility of a Saint, or even a Great Sage turned Saint, because of trouble she might cause in the future.”

“That’s a problem for much later. Who can be sure that by then, you and I definitely won’t have beco Saints?”

“Are you confident?”

“In its pri, the Wizard World had nine Saints. Now, with a once in millennia change upon us and the Parallel Universe about to open, anything is possible.”

“Alright, just make sure you’ve thought it through,” Sage Seuss said, no longer interested in continuing the conversation, instead indulging in the beauty of the water lilies.

Great Sage Revo spread his left hand, revealing a black and a white smooth jade stone in his palm, utterly engrossed in them.

The next day.

Dean Frist and Lady Lisandra personally paid a visit to invite Link to continue participating in the exchange with the delegation from the Tower of the Great Sage Mitchell.

It was that sa conference hall.

Level six sage Cowell Ludville was already there waiting alone in advance.

Upon seeing Dean Frist, Cowell imdiately stood up and greeted him, “I am honored, truly honored! I never expected Cowell Ludville to receive hospitality from Frist Diomand, truly an honor!”

Link heard a hint of mockery and self-derision in that statent.

The emotions were quite complex.

It seed that level six sage Cowell Ludville and Dean Frist had had conflicts, and Cowell had co out the worse for wear.

Considering that Ravensmouth College had been aggressively pursuing and weakening the reputation and influence of the Tower of the Great Sage Mitchell under Dean Frist’s leadership,

Link felt that Cowell’s behavior was, after all, to be expected.

“It’s been a while, Ludville.”

Dean Frist nodded slightly in greeting and got straight to the point, “Wizard Link Grande is a sage and should receive the respect he deserves. Ludville, your words yesterday have offended Sage Grande’s dignity and trampled upon the honor of Ravensmouth College. Please return and convey to the managent of the Tower of Great Sage Mitchell, as well as Great Sage Mitchell himself, that Ravensmouth College will not commodify its own wizards.”

“Is that so?”

Cowell Ludville had anticipated what kind of response he would receive upon eting Dean Frist.

He was not at all surprised by Dean Frist’s statent.

He simply smiled lightly and said, “No hurry, we agreed on seven days, and it’s only the second day today, still plenty of ti.”

Dean Frist gazed intently at Cowell Ludville and said in a deep voice, “No matter how many days, my decision will not change, nor will the determination of Ravensmouth College waver.”

After leaving those words, Dean Frist departed.

Lady Lisandra and Link were left behind.

Cowell Ludville’s face maintained a calm and composed smile as if everything was under his control.

Watching Dean Frist leave, Cowell Ludville, with a smile, turned to Lady Lisandra and Link, “Lady, Grande Sage, let’s end our discussion here for today. You still have five days to consider.”

With that, today’s exchange ca to an end.

The third day, the fourth day, the fifth day, the sixth day, it was all just a formality.

On the seventh day, before Link had even started to go through the motions, Jasmine ca over with a portable mind-computer, her face full of worry.

“What’s wrong, Jasmine?”

Link asked with concern.

“Take a look for yourself.”

Jasmine projected the content from her mind-computer.

A shocking piece of news was topping the forums in the Central Plains, West Coast, East Coast, North Region, and South Region of the Wizard World, all platforms with so influence.

It even reached the main forums of the Supre Council.

The titles were sowhat different, but they all discussed one thing: the Great Sage Mitchell of the West Coast was willing to exchange jurisdiction over the Mitchell District with Ravensmouth College for the inclusion of Sage Link Grande.

After a few incidents, Link’s fa was already considerable.

Now, it had been catapulted onto the cusp of a storm.

All the wizards in the Wizard World, this ti, were likely to learn about the existence of Link Grande.

Why would a Fourth Level Sage be worth the jurisdiction of an entire district?

Wizards, a bit more curious, would certainly investigate the reason behind it.

Link was about to receive an overwhelming surge of attention.

All his information was liable to be unearthed.

And that wasn’t even the biggest problem.

The outstanding tree invites the wind to blast it.

From now on, Link would have to be careful wherever he went, in case he encountered so wizards with malicious intent or those with antisocial personalities who could not bear the sight of his success and would strike at him.

The precedent set by Sage Walters was a warning.

The move by the Tower of the Great Sage Mitchell had an essence of “If I can’t have it, then I will destroy it.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll handle it.”

Link gently touched Jasmine’s head, which was filled with apprehension, and comforted her softly.

“Okay.”

Jasmine nodded obediently.

Afterward, Link went out as usual to et Lady Lisandra for their final day of discussion.

Dean Frist suddenly appeared, stopping Link, and took both Link and Jasmine away from the Wizard World Holand.

This ti, their destination was not the main world of the college but rather Dean Frist’s Destiny World.

The rumors were true.

If Dean Frist so wished, he could be promoted to a Level Seven Great Sage at any ti.

It was just unknown why he had delayed his ascension for so long.
