“He Wu, why haven’t I seen you tinkering with machinery today? It’s ti to eat.” A burly man placed a portion of food on the table, his tone tinged with jest.
“Oh, I’m just taking a break, practicing over and over is useless, I need to learn so new knowledge.”
The youth nad ‘He Wu’ didn’t seem to be in high spirits, his tone carrying a hint of awkwardness.
The burly man could hear it and sighed, “It’s alright, your superpower is very strong, once we break away from those Star Gods and reach the unknown, everything will get better.”
He knew that He Wu was once a favored child of heaven; if not for the sudden turn of events, he should be on the right path now, not fleeing with them.
“Don’t worry, I’m just a bit helpless, wondering when I can get the new chanics course.” ‘He Wu’s mood seed much better, and he began to eat the food he had taken.
He Wu, that’s the unfortunate soul replaced by Qin Muye, was just now adjusting his physical condition and acquiring the corresponding mories when the burly man entered, scaring him quite a bit.

“Not sure, there hasn’t been an announcent about that. It should be soon, if it weren’t for the Star Gods intercepting us, we could’ve directly jumped to the border of the Star Domain; no need to be this slow.” Zhou Lin was also unclear about it.
His circumstances were similar to He Wu’s, both dragged into this situation because of their potential. Even their families couldn’t make it aboard and died in the Star Gods disaster.
“Oh, it’s good that Hotown is large enough, with complete industrial and agricultural systems, otherwise there would’ve likely been problems a long ti ago.” Qin Muye spoke in line with He Wu’s character.
The entire Hotown might be called a spaceship, but in reality, it was a huge planet that had been modified. There were no worries regarding the water cycle or the ecological environnt. The ultimate goal of the modifications was to sustain a population of a hundred billion people, so as long as there were no problems at the top, there was no concern of the ten billion population having issues with food or dicine shortages.
But that’s as far as it went. The resources for Transcendents’ growth were incredibly scarce; even with Hotown’s vastness, it couldn’t support the developnt of ten billion Transcendents.
Among these ten billion people, all were Superpower Users, and a heaven’s chosen like He Wu would only count as a low-level individual, so the Extraordinary Resources would never trickle down to them.
On the other hand, common resources like food or entertainnt were relatively abundant. Although there was a quota, pigging out was not a problem.
These resources could be considered overly abundant. As for work, they didn’t really need to do it personally; with the presence of artificial intelligence, most tasks had already beco automated, needing only a small number of chanics for maintenance or updates.
No one knew how long Hotown would be traveling; although it headed towards the Unknown Star Domain, what lay within this domain was unknown to them.
“I heard last ti that the jump program had shaken off the chaotic paraters ford by the Star Gods, and maybe it’s almost adjusted. When that ti cos, we’ll use spatial jumping, which will be much faster.” Zhou Lin was well-inford, spending his days idly strolling around.
He specialized as a Superpower User, wanting to raise his Superpower Level, which required corresponding Extraordinary Resources. Without these resources, he could only grow naturally; there was no such thing as cultivation. Cultivation was sothing only Spiritual Ability Users would do, as for Superpower Users, they could either spend heavily or grow at nature’s pace.
As for chanics, they relied on hard learning.
With no access to Extraordinary Resources, Zhou Lin didn’t have much to do. As for developing superpowers? That was even more ludicrous; with his low Energy Level, he would do well to control them, let alone develop them.
Did they really think they were all like protagonists, casually breaking limits and comprehending things far beyond their level?
Like He Wu, he couldn’t control his superpower at all; he could only let it release and radiate Life Energy. Fortunately, it had been checked, and this Life Energy was actually a normal emission from him that wouldn’t affect his Life Force, similar to exhaling carbon dioxide after breathing.
Otherwise, he might very well have been killed by his superpower, which would’ve been quite embarrassing.
Qin Muye’s expression shifted as he imitated He Wu’s mindset, “So soon, I thought it would take at least a month.”
“How could it take that long? Star Gods seem not to leave the known Star Domain, and the closer to the Unknown Star Domains, the fewer the Star Gods. It is unclear what the situation is.”
“Let’s hope nothing goes wrong.”
Zhou Lin was also worried the Star Gods might co after them, considering their previous attitude seed intent on completely annihilating them. The Hotown had only evaded the Star Gods the day before yesterday, and it would be very easy for the Star Gods to catch up.
Of course, they knew that all Star Gods were S-level Transcendents, and although most of them were lower-tier, they were not opponents they could face. Not to ntion the sheer number of them. If a battle were to ensue, Hotown would be torn into shreds instantly.
As for those who had only recently beco Transcendents, they had no way of surviving in the cosmos for long, and even the aftermath of an S-level battle would be enough to obliterate them without a trace, leaving their odds of survival virtually zero.
“By the way, there will be an opera house visiting our district for a consolation performance in a couple of days. Are you going to watch it?” Zhou Lin suddenly changed the subject and asked.
“Not interested, what’s there to see? I’m planning to borrow so books from the Library, but I don’t know if it’s open,” Qin Muye replied.
This was a rare opportunity. The creation of the Hotown was a joint effort between the survivors of the Star Cluster Empire and the Holy Sects, not constructed in three days, but rather, it was a strategic fortress built using technology excavated by the Alliance of All Things from so S-level Sub-dinsion of the GROX Empire.
However, the Alliance had not been the fastest, and consequently, the remnants of the two powers got their hands on it.
It was not originally nad Hotown; the na had only been changed recently.
Naturally, a great deal of knowledge was stored within, although the upper echelon still controlled it. However, quite a bit had also made its way into the Library’s network.
Monopolizing was quite normal, but they knew they couldn’t completely monopolize it now, so they released a part of it for the people of Hotown to self-study. If soone achieved sothing, it was a win for them; if no one looked at it, they wouldn’t suffer a great loss, having released it reluctantly.
For Qin Muye, this was an excellent opportunity. He could completely compile the entire artificial intelligence through the Library network, eventually gaining access to all the technology of the Star Cluster Empire and the Holy Sects, although it was uncertain if it was complete.

If one cannot enhance their Superpower, then they must change direction.
Zhou Lin had thought about using his spare ti to learn chanic knowledge from ‘He Wu,’ but he soon dismissed the idea. If he had the capability, the academy would have cultivated it, as his admission was not based on scores but on Superpower.
The academy knew he wasn’t material for studies and did not insist on it. It was teaching according to one’s aptitude.
“Yes, after all, I will have to learn it sooner or later. If I don’t learn now, I’ll be wasting ti,” Qin Muye replied imdiately.
From their current interactions, it appeared Zhou Lin, his roommate, hadn’t noticed that He Wu had been replaced. This ant he had passed this test. As for He Wu’s family, they hadn’t boarded the Hotown, just like Zhou Lin’s family, they had perished in the Star God disaster, leaving him all alone, greatly reducing the chances of exposure.
