Chapter 572: Chapter 574: Unknown Star Domain, Pioneer’s Hint

The cosmos had gradually dimd, with luminous stars extinguished—the Star Gods had taken action.

The Endless Abyss drifted quietly in the darkness, without any disturbance.

Today marked the first month since the Star Gods’ disaster had struck; the Star Cluster Empire and the various Holy Sects had essentially perished, leaving only a few survivors hiding in the sub-dinsions, barely clinging to life.

As for the other civilizations, there was no need to think about them—they had basically perished.

The True Dragon Emperor had also left the Shining Universe server a half-month ago after completing the transaction of goods, and Qin Muye was not at all surprised by this.

However, the long-term event had not ended, apparently because the Cosmic Will had not yet returned, so it still persisted.

“The mind networks of the Star Gods have been completely under my control—even those yet-to-hatch Star Gods are now at my rcy.”

“But why hasn’t the action started yet? Is it due to insufficient preparation, or do they plan to exterminate the remaining survivors before moving?”

There were definitely survivors; Qin Muye sporadically perceived them, estimating at least a hundred billion or so, many of whom still retained their combat strength, like those of Rank 8, of whom Qin Muye had detected more than a dozen through the Star Gods’ mind network.

Most of these were from the Star Cluster Empire and various Holy Sects, while the rest were from other civilizations; currently, they were fleeing the existing known star domains, heading toward the unknown star domains to save their lives.

Qin Muye had also discovered sothing very interesting—all of the Star Gods were born only in the known star domains, and there were no Star Gods in the unknown star domains.

The mind network naturally could be located, which Qin Muye had figured out by comparison.

“For the Cosmic Will, this seems a bit lackluster.”

The unknown star domains are also within the entire cosmos; it can’t be that it is unable to control them, right? If that’s really the case… what is hiding in the unknown star domains?

It can’t just randomly choose not to select them.

If it were Qin Muye, he would definitely choose the unknown star domains for hatching; there was no need to pick known star domains, which could be discovered by other civilizations.

There had been quite a few exposures before this.

“Wait… could it be that the Cosmic Will actually chose to hatch Star Gods in the unknown star domains, but sothing there wiped them out?”

“Otherwise, there’s no need to cultivate another batch of Rank 7 Star Gods; it’s aningless.”

Qin Muye couldn’t help but think that if the remnants left by the Cosmic Will in the unknown star domains had been cleared, preventing the formation of Star Gods, then there was a need to hatch to fill the gap.

“But why is there no record at all? Clearly, the unknown star domains… wait, why don’t the three major forces convert internal conflicts into external ones and expand into the unknown star domains, instead of sticking to known star domains and swallowing other interstellar civilizations in bizarre ways?”

He realized that he had previously overlooked the unknown star domains, not just him, but all civilizations and life forms in the known star domains had subconsciously ignored the unknown star domains.

It was as if everyone had twisted the concept of the unknown star domains.

Clearly, there was a piece of cake big enough to satisfy everyone, but everyone was blind to it and instead split a tiny bit of cornbread.

Does that make sense? It doesn’t.

Normally, shouldn’t there be a unified effort to expand outward rather than fighting over scraps?

“Fuck… does it an that the unknown star domains might contain so sort of greater danger?” Qin Muye was sowhat flabbergasted.

“No wonder the cosmic explorers’ event erged; it’s not aid at competing for the territories of other civilizations or sub-dinsions but to warn about sothing in the unknown star domains that could destroy the entire server, even possibly rivaling the Cosmic Will.”

Qin Muye cald down, opened the event panel, and looked at the cosmic explorers’ long-term event. The hint was very subtle—if it wasn’t for the Star Gods’ status, removing so sort of ntal limitation, Qin Muye might not have thought of it.

And that group of survivors probably did so for the sa reason, which is why they fled toward the Unknown Star Domain. As for the possibility of so danger existing in the Unknown Star Domain?

That was a different matter altogether, they knew how to choose between possibly dying and dying now.

“Should we go and take a look? Given the current situation, it seems difficult for the Star God to restore the Cosmic Will with its own consciousness.”

At the very least, it would have to wait until the Star God of Rank 7 that had hatched beca Rank 8. Even with the Star God’s unique talents and cosmic favor, it would still take three to five months to grow.

These special life forms, the Star Gods, likely couldn’t defy common sense and change every three days.

Furthermore, the hatching hadn’t even started yet; it would take at least a year and a half to complete.

Therefore, Qin Muye was considering whether or not to go and see what exactly the Unknown Star Domain was.

“I can’t leave, but I can send the Wise Man’s Book Shadow Costu into the fleeing survivors’ fleet to follow them in. After all, if sothing really goes wrong, it’s just an avatar; I can just create another Wise Man’s Book Shadow then.”

“The idea could work, but this Wise Man’s Book Shadow Costu is a bit weak; it’s only Rank 7 now, but the problem is, although it’s Rank 7, it’s too conspicuous.”

The higher the rank of the Transcendents, the fewer they are. Consider that during the peak of the Shining Universe server, there were just over three hundred people at Rank 8, and although there are more at Rank 7, they are still very conspicuous.

And this thing obviously doesn’t look like a proper alien; it needs so modification.

“Draping myself in human skin to impersonate a mber of the Human Clan and hiding my strength should do the trick… no way, although those survivors are fleeing in disarray, they’ve brought a comprehensive range of equipnt.”

“Even if I blend in, I’ll be without a proper identity. Do you think it’s like the old feudal days? It’s likely that as soon as I blend in, the monitoring artificial intelligence will notice an extra person and I won’t be able to explain.”

It’s the Interstellar Era now; trying such an outdated thod to infiltrate will get caught imdiately.

So the most convenient thod would be to replace soone, but that’s not an easy task. Every survivor who managed to escape held a high position or had great potential, plus they carried inheritances from various stellar civilizations.

While there may seem to be billions of people, that’s just the population of a single inhabited planet for a vast interstellar civilization, managed by artificial intelligence; how could there possibly be a mistake?

If they can’t even manage a few billion people, how could they have any chance of escaping the pursuit of the Star Gods?

Qin Muye was currently browsing through the list of survivors, excluding all sorts of ssy aliens and powerful Transcendents, and several candidates appeared.

Finding soone inconspicuous was still a bit difficult because those who managed to survive and board a ship were not simple characters; their minds and thods were extraordinary.

Despite that, there were still so; Qin Muye quickly locked onto one such unfortunate soul.

“A freshman from Star Cluster Empire’s Star Superpower Academy, with Energy Radiation as a Superpower, currently at Rank E, able to emit Life Force.”

“This is truly a strategic-level Superpower.”

Qin Muye was examining the profile of his chosen unlucky candidate. Energy Radiation was similar to an aura ability; currently, the person could only emit Life Force, which would enhance recovery and offer so temporary boosts like strength and agility to those engulfed by it.

Since it was only at Rank E, the coverage was just ten ters, and the effects weren’t impressive, but if nurtured, this would absolutely be a core individual since emitting Life Force was just the first type of energy; subsequent possibilities could include various types for combat or support, making it an extrely desirable ability.

The individual was being trained as a chanic to complent his active abilities, while the academy had plans for achieving his Superpower’s potential.

Unfortunately, the Star Superpower Academy was gone, and he was obscurely swept away due to his potential in Superpower, dropping his status drastically. Not only was his chanic training just at the entry level, his Superpower was also just at Rank E due to lack of adequate training, leaving him very confused.

Qin Muye felt this was the guy; it was just an aura, after all, sothing the Wise Man’s Book Shadow could easily impersonate.

“The artificial intelligence is tricky though; although its computation power isn’t as imnse as the Star Array’s, it’s still substantial and not bogged down by nurous projects like the Star Array.”

“The replacent process needs to be cautious, and it’s best done by parasitic ans, otherwise they might check the DNA, which would definitely expose .”
