Chapter 679: Chapter 84: The Monster That Devours Worlds
The sealing gradually cald down.
The spiritual ssage from the Wolf King transmitted from within the Stone Shell.
“Outsider, what do you wish to ask?”
The situation was stronger than himself, and as the Beast King, the Wolf King naturally chose to follow his heart.
Richard’s face revealed a faint smile: “Correct decision. First, I want to ask how you beca a Beast King—a Level 4 creature, and then how you evolved from a Level 4 creature to a Level 5 creature.”
“What kind of question is this?”
The Wolf King’s spiritual ssage carried confusion.
“To beco a Beast King, you just need to hunt and eat those powerful creatures. As long as you eat enough, you can beco a Beast King. The sa goes for becoming a Great Beast King, you just need to hunt those Beast Kings.”
“No Power of World Origin?”
“Power of World Origin? What is that?”
The Wolf King’s answer left Richard in a state of bewildernt; spiritual ssages don’t encounter translation issues, so the fact that the Wolf King didn’t know of the Power of World Origin could only an he had never encountered it.
But… without an Evolution Road, just relying on pure slaughter and devouring to beco a Level 4 creature.
This world sounds a bit ridiculous.
Even to beco a Nightmare Lord in the Nightmare World, one needs to perform a ritual.
Richard rubbed his forehead, feeling that this world was becoming increasingly mysterious.
“Unaware of Power of World Origin, there must be so force helping them make the ultimate leap… it can only be that omnipresent Power of Dinsion.”
Coming out of the bewildernt, Richard quickly found another key—the Power of Dinsion.
As everyone knows, the Power of Dinsion can achieve many incredible things. Advancing through the Power of Dinsion is reasonable, albeit a bit premature.
“In your growth, did you feel any special power helping you evolve? Such as dinsional power helping you enhance your physique?”
“Power of Dinsion… this power does exist. After every hunt, I can feel this power entering my body.”
Clap!
Richard clapped his hands fiercely, “That’s it! The problem with this world definitely lies with the Power of Dinsion!”
But soon, Richard realized that this was rely jumping from one puzzle to another.
How could a Material World’s world have the Power of Dinsion? Could this world have been parasitized by so Illusionary Dinsion? Or was it simply an Illusionary Dinsion invading the Material World?
Various thoughts kept surging out in Richard’s mind, tangled like a ss.
“Has this Power of Dinsion always been present?” Richard asked again.
“Of course. However… there are tis when this power weakens.”
“Weakens?”
“Yes.”
The Wolf King paused montarily, as if lost in the distant past.
“About two thousand years ago, I recall. It ended a weakening period of about a thousand years two thousand years ago.
During that ti, no matter what creatures I hunted, I couldn’t obtain the Power of Dinsion.
Later, I asked an old Beast King, who told this situation is quite common, occurring roughly every ten thousand years.”
“Two thousand years ago…”
Listening to this number, Richard felt it was sowhat familiar; he searched his mory and suddenly widened his eyes.
“Two thousand years ago, wasn’t it exactly when the Four-Eyed People World experienced a catastrophic event?”
In an instant, Richard felt he had found the key to the final answer.
The catastrophe, the Illusory Space-Ti Lighthouse, the disappearance of the dinsional power weakening period, those Elental Lords exhibiting Flesh Transformation, Commander creatures… Various clues tangled together, continuously swirling and flying in Richard’s brain.
He felt he was just one piece of information short, just one piece short from finding the answer to the problem.
“Beast King, have you seen so special places? Perhaps places that made you feel uncomfortable. The kind that felt incompatible with the Beast Origin.”
“I have seen, there were a lot of such places in the Beast Origin.”
“A lot?”
“Yes, but these places gradually disappeared, as if they were eaten by the Beast Origin.”
“Eaten…”
Richard’s mind exploded; an absurd and bizarre thought near the point of rambling appeared in his head.
Richard struggled to think: “Could this world… be a living creature?”
If this world were a massive beast wandering between the Illusionary Dinsion and the Material World, surviving by devouring worlds, then the problems in the Four-Eyed People World could be explained.
Those landmasses with unique rules were nothing but the indigestible remnants of a world. Those Elental Lords, Lords of Death, were rely survivors of the devoured worlds.
This explanation could account for the isolation of the Power of Dinsion as well.
But the only problem now is that this idea is too absurd.
The size of a creature has its limits; even a gigantic Star Realm whale is at most continent-sized, and that in a miniature world’s continent. Compared to a single world, even a Star Realm Master is exceedingly insignificant.
The only creature capable of breaking through this limit is called the World Tree, but a World Tree that devours a world can no longer be called a creature; it is another form of the world itself.
Moreover, the World Tree is a tangible creature of the Material World, and it absolutely cannot have Illusion Rules.
“Perhaps I should request so outside assistance.”
Richard stood beside the Wolf King’s seal, a tone of relief from abandoning formalities in his voice.
Calling for help is simply too easy.
Moreover, this ti the reason for calling for help is substantial; calling for help might even earn so rits.
If his theory is correct, then the Beast Origin World will definitely be taken down by several Truth Wizards. Not for anything else, just the fact that the Beast Origin World has so many World Lord Level magic beasts is enough for the Truth Council to go all out.
Wizards not only lack lower-level wizards, but they are also weak in terms of World Lord Level combat power. If it weren’t for the extrely strong individual strength of wizards and the excessively perverse equal exchange of Wizard Rules, the Wizard Civilization wouldn’t even qualify to defend.
This new force of the Beast Origin, even if these magic beasts’ combat power is not as strong as the native World’s Lords, is enough to alleviate the wizards’ pressure.
Not to ntion, these Beast Kings will revive.
This is simply an immortal rcenary army.
As the thought of calling for help arose, he suddenly felt a broad world.
Richard wielded the Balancing Hand and summoned a door leading to the Wizard Dinsion. Then he glanced at the sealed Wolf King, and his magic wand lightly tapped on the seal.
“The seal will break in ten minutes.”
Although killing the Wolf King would yield great benefits, Richard prudently decided against it.
According to the Wolf King, he would gain an enhancent of the Power of Dinsion when hunting powerful creatures. And Richard’s avatar is only Fourth Level, if he kills the Wolf King, it would absolutely et the criterion of hunting powerful creatures.
At that ti, while the threat of dinsional power invasion would vanish, it would attract the observation of the World Will, which is a big deal.
Enter the Wizard Dinsion.
The Wizard Dinsion is the sa as always, but Richard couldn’t tell if it was an illusion or reality; the Wizard Towers in the Wizard Dinsion seed significantly fewer.
In so corners, concrete buildings spread silently like weeds.
“Has the change in the Wizard Civilization directly affected the Wizard Dinsion?” Richard mused, noticing the change.
Upon arriving at the center, the City of Eternal Truth, the Secret Keeper, incarnation of the Wizard Dinsion, tily appeared before Richard.
“Oh, Naless Great Wizard, you’ve returned. What good news have you brought for the Wizard Civilization this ti?”
The Secret Keeper was very enthusiastic towards Richard; his contributions to the Wizard World were comndable even among Great Wizards.
Strengthening the Wizard Civilization ans strengthening the Wizard Dinsion, and as the embodint of the Wizard Dinsion, the Secret Keeper naturally had great appreciation for Richard.
“This news is sowhat uncertain this ti.”
Richard looked at the Secret Keeper, and a thought suddenly popped into his mind. Since this figure in front of him is the incarnation of the Wizard Dinsion, he might know sothing about this type of world like the Beast Origin.
“Secret Keeper, have you heard of creatures capable of roaming between the Endless Dinsion and the Material World, and taking worlds as their sustenance?”
“Ah?”
Faced with Richard’s inquiry, even the Secret Keeper seed a bit bewildered. But the next mont, he pulled out a Balance.
“Master, to exchange for an answer requires an equal exchange.”
“So it does exist?”
“…”
The Secret Keeper did not answer, but this was already a response.
When facing questions, Wizards only opt for a transaction if they have knowledge to exchange. The Secret Keeper, as the embodint of the Wizard Dinsion, behaved in alignnt with Wizards.
“Such creatures really exist…”
Richard stroked his chin, thinking to himself how vast and wondrous the world is.
“Invoke the Physique Crown for . I need to et him; I’ve discovered a half-illusion world that devours worlds. Within this world are over a thousand World Lord Level magic beasts.”
“Oh? As you wish!”
The Secret Keeper struck a brass bell; the lodious bell sound traversed the Endless Dinsion, reaching the ears of the Physique Crown.
In the pitch-black Star Realm, the face of the Physique Crown changed slightly. Opposite him, a gigantic Mayfly, as if a galaxy grew within, quietly gazed at him.
War between civilizations is also king against king, general against general. While the soldiers down below struggle with the Galaxy Mayfly, the Truth Wizard is also confronting the Dominator of Mayfly.
“Summoning at this mont is truly untily.”
As he spoke, countless runes began to appear on the Physique Crown’s body. On his three-headed, thousand-ard giant form, endless runes spread like a sea of stars.
With each move, even the stars seed to shake.
“Insect, co fight!”
…
In the Wizard Dinsion, Richard waited for seven days but still didn’t await the Physique Crown.
“It seems the Crown is engaged in a battle.”
Richard shook his head slightly, preparing to leave the Wizard Dinsion. But before he could open the door, a giant portal appeared out of nowhere. From within the portal, a towering Green Robed Wizard stepped out.
“You sure know how to pick a ti, just as I was blocking that insect. If it weren’t for a soul filling in for , you might not have seen for several months.”
