Chapter 678: Chapter 83: Beast King, You Have Two Choices

The Beast Origin is a magical world.

In addition to the omnipresent Power of Dinsion, the energy environnt of this world is even higher than that of a large world. Its land area is vast and boundless.

And on this vast and boundless land, Magic Beasts are the only dominators.

Countless Magic Beasts survive on this vast land, with a bewildering variety of Bloodlines and Talents, almost like an inexhaustible gold mine.

But these are not the most peculiar aspects of this world.

Wherever there is life, there must be a Leader, and in the Beast Origin, the Leader of the Beast hordes is the Beast King.

Each Beast King commands a territory comparable to a Miniature World.

According to Richard’s estimation, this world conservatively harbors a thousand World Lord Level Magic Beasts, including an unknown number of Fifth Level and Sixth Level Magic Beasts.

This is impossible for a world without an Evolution Road.

The Power of World Origin is not infinite. Even in a large world, the number of World Guardians that can be born can only be maintained at around five hundred. If higher-level creatures like Fifth and Sixth Level exist, this number has to be reduced further.

But the Beast Origin surpasses this supposition.

Richard doesn’t believe this is a flaw in the Wizard’s theory, but he has investigated this world for three years and still hasn’t found why so many World Lords were birthed here.

So Richard speculates that there exists so special Rules unknown to him, which he can’t perceive due to his own limited Strength.

On the endless grassland, a tiny figure is moving “slowly.”

Behind him, a tide-like herd of wildebeests is migrating.

“Faster, even faster.”

“Don’t slack off, I am aware of your body status.”

“You still have unused Strength. If you slack off again, I will let you experience being trampled into pulp by wildebeests.”

Richard’s voice was like a death sentence that kept echoing in Bal’s ears.

Bal was gasping for air, feeling that every muscle in his body was convulsing and that what flowed through his veins was no longer blood, but streams of boiling lava.

Yet even so, he sped up.

He knew if he didn’t follow Richard’s orders, he would indeed be trampled into pulp by wildebeests and then saved by Richard.

He’s already been through this once.

Watching Bal speed up again, Richard stood in the air and nodded slightly, jotting Bal’s data in the notebook in his hand. The records have already filled most of the notebook.

Bal’s Bloodline is very special. According to Richard’s research, the source of his Bloodline should originate from a Beast King of the Beast Origin.

But after countless generations over millennia, the Bloodline from Beast Origin mutated in one generation, allowing it to evolve by absorbing the Power of Dinsion from Beast Origin.

It had to be said, Richard had never seen such an ability before.

Driven by practical knowledge, Richard conducted a mixed-blood experint on himself. But his own Bloodline was too strong, suppressing Bal’s Bloodline in his body until it was almost unable to express.

This is why he kept Bal around.

Soon, as Bal was running, his vision suddenly went black, and he fell headfirst to the ground. The wildebeest herd rushed towards Bal like a torrent, but in the next mont, an invisible barrier enveloped him, making his body act like a reef splitting the beast tide.

After the herd left, Richard landed on the ground and calmly said, “Get up, I know your body status inside out.”

“Spare .”

Bal turned over almost wailing.

This was an unknown number of experints he had undergone, and each experint would lead him to temporarily faint from exhaustion or pain.

He couldn’t withstand this hellish life any longer.

“Sigh…”

Looking at the wailing Bal, Richard couldn’t help but rub his temple.

“If not for your unique Bloodline, I’d really want to pinch you to death. Do you know how many people would give everything for the things you ate and the training you underwent these three years?

Your Race has really been spoiled by the Control Bureau, to the point that commoners like you don’t understand how precious Strength is.”

Richard’s words caused little psychological reaction in Bal; his mind had already grown numb during these three years of experintation.

Seeing Bal unmoved, Richard shook his head helplessly and took a pot of stewed at from his pocket.

“Eat it. After you eat it, you can go back.”

Upon hearing he could go back, Bal was taken aback, then looked at Richard in disbelief.

“I can go back?”

Richard nodded calmly: “The data has mostly been collected. Since you don’t want to stay here, I won’t force you.”

Bal’s Second Level data was entirely gathered, while advancing to Level 3 Creature was too distant. Rather than having a burden by his side, it was better to send him back directly.

Soday after conquering this world, continuing experints wouldn’t be too late.

Not to ntion this guy can’t distinguish good and bad, insisting on going back himself.

“Hahaha…”

Bal was so excited that he almost shed tears, and Richard shook his head at the sight.

Indeed, not everyone is suited for Physique Evolution. The experints Bal participated in over three years were extre, but compared to the pain undergone during regular Physique Evolution, it really was insignificant.

“Ah, the road of evolution indeed has its thresholds.”

After Bal finished his stew, Richard raised his hand, and a space rift appeared right in front of Bal.

Bal stared at the rift, suddenly frozen in place. Monts later, he bowed deeply to Richard. Although he always wanted to escape from Richard, he knew Richard’s words were accurate. Yet, his weak will couldn’t withstand this opportunity.

“What? Changed your mind about staying?”

“No!”

Upon hearing Richard’s words, Bal’s spirit suddenly jolted, and he escaped into the rift.

Richard watched him, shaking his head with a smile.

“Lucky that the Wizard walks on the path of spiritual evolution; otherwise, it’s feared that not even those ‘thread-filling’ Wizards could be cultivated.”

After sending Bal off, Richard turned his gaze toward the depths of the grassland.

Over the past three years, Richard had explored this grassland and the surrounding jungles. Within the area he investigated, there were about five Beast Kings. Among them, the one on this grassland was the most powerful, reaching the level of Five.

While observing him, he almost got bitten by that fellow.

“I reckon that Five-Level Beast King might know sothing.”

Becoming a Five-Level creature, even within civilization, is deed a pillar of strength. If the Five-Level Beast King can’t provide answers, then Richard would have to temporarily give up on exploring the world’s secrets.

Taking the Balancing Hand out from his pocket, Richard waved Richard’s Wand, and his figure transford into a stream of light, flying towards the depths of the grassland.

anwhile, deep in the grassland, the Wolf King suddenly opened its eyes, its pitch-black pupils gazing in Richard’s direction, sowhat suspicious and uncertain.

Its wild intuition told it, an imnse danger was closing in.

In the next mont, a golden light streaked across the sky, directly hitting the Wolf King’s location.

Gurgle, gurgle…

In the pit with a width of five ters, crimson lava bubbled gurglingly. Not far away, the Wolf King’s massive figure, like a small mountain, crouched low, emitting a low thunderous growl from its throat.

“Roar—”

From twenty kiloters away, Richard watched the Wolf King dodge and shook his head involuntarily.

“These Magic Beasts really have sharp instincts.”

With that said, his figure suddenly vanished into thin air. In the next instant, the Wolf King’s figure appeared from the sky, biting the spot where Richard had just been.

Though the World Master’s physique is enormous, this doesn’t an they act slowly. On the contrary, even as large as a small mountain, their speed is fast enough that creatures below level three can’t see their actions at all.

“Its speed is rather quick.”

Richard’s figure appeared several kiloters away, even though the Wolf King’s life level was higher, and it was still in its ho ground.

Yet he wasn’t at all tense.

“But sadly, no matter how fast, it’s useless.”

Suddenly, a huge magic array appeared beside the Wolf King, from which countless chains extended, instantly binding the Wolf King’s six wolf legs.

Although these chains were shattered by the Wolf King the next mont, this precious instant was enough for Richard to complete a witchcraft.

“Seven Rings Witchcraft, Golden Stone Body. Oh no, it should be called Golden Stone Touch.”

A golden light struck the Wolf King, instantly transforming into a stone shell with a tallic sheen on its body. This stone shell incessantly spread like a parasite, seemingly wanting to envelop the entire Wolf King.

“Awoo!”

The Wolf King suddenly let out an enormous roar, and the imnse shockwave instantly shattered the stone shell created by Golden Stone Touch. But within this gigantic roar, a voice penetrated the barrier and reached the Wolf King’s ears.

“I say, you cannot roar!”

In the next instant, the Wolf King’s voice abruptly stopped.

Richard’s body shone with Holy Light, akin to a divine descent. His face stern, he spoke another divine word to the Wolf King.

“I say, you cannot move.”

Upon hearing this, the Wolf King’s body, which was about to escape, stiffened abruptly. With the Eye of Truth, Richard saw countless chains extend from the void, firmly trapping the Wolf King in place.

“Is this the essence of the Divine Speech Skill?”

From the void, Richard heard Ulysses’ sowhat fearful voice.

“Richard, what is your avatar doing? Why is the Power of Faith being consud so quickly!”

The power and consumption of Divine Speech Skill are proportional. Restraining a Five-Level creature naturally takes a trendous amount.

“Nothing, just engaging in a fight.”

Under the Divine Speech Skill, Golden Stone Touch rapidly spread over the Wolf King, covering its body in no ti. Richard approached the Wolf King, and an Alchemy Array floated in his hand.

He pressed on the Wolf King, and lines of Magic Power began to extend from his palm, promptly covering the Wolf King’s entire body. Then, the Magic Power lines started to “engender” runes, forming a gigantic rune cage.

Rumble!

After the sealing form, Richard released the Divine Speech Skill. In an instant, the enormous “Wolf King Stone Statue” began to tremble.

The runes on the stone shell surface trembled, dazzling like the stars at night, with intricate cracks appearing throughout the statue.

But as Richard waved the Magic Wand, once more performing Golden Stone Touch, the mont golden light rged into the stone shell, all those tiny cracks disappeared without a trace.

“Beast King, now you have two choices. One, continue to struggle and then be killed. Two, stop and answer my questions.”
