Chapter 773: 706 won’t take a fancy to just any man?

The sky, at last, gradually brightened.

Accompanying the arrival of daylight, Enchanting Demon Castle also began to buzz with activity.

Liel appeared in the Enchanting Demon Castle early in the morning, and as the top executive under Chafne, she started directing the people in the castle with her work.

Because today, Chafne was to depart for the Central City of the Moon Demon Territory.

Thanks to this, the Enchanting Demon Castle naturally beca lively.

Shane, still in a sleepy state, was abruptly woken up by Liel who had suddenly co over.

“We’re about to depart, and you’re still sleeping?”

Liel’s tone was filled with dissatisfaction towards Shane.

This dissatisfaction wasn’t just about Shane’s performance today, but also about his behavior over the past few days.

Seeing Shane’s perpetually tired look, Liel was infuriated.

“You’ve eaten so many supplents, and you still haven’t adjusted your condition?”

Clearly, Liel was annoyed by Shane’s “fragility.”

Had it been before, Shane would definitely have been hurt by Liel’s words.

However, today, there was only a trace of peculiarity, even a bit of sympathy and pity, in Shane’s eyes as he looked at Liel.

“Why are you looking at like that?”

Liel was confused.

“No, nothing.” Shane yawned casually, “I was just thinking, if you knew who is actually causing my weakened state, would you explode on the spot?”

“Huh?” Liel didn’t understand what Shane ant.

Shane, naturally, had no intention of spreading the news.

“Don’t mind it, I was just speaking nonsense.” Shane forced himself to perk up, “Are we departing already?”

“Of course.” Although Liel was sowhat curious about what Shane had said, she didn’t pursue it further, “I’ve already had people start to gather, only you and Lord Chafne are yet to arrive.”

“People?” Shane paused mid-yawn and looked at Liel, “Isn’t it just Chafne and going?”

“How could that be?” Liel looked disdainfully at Shane, assertively saying, “When the Enchanting Demon Lord travels, how could she not have executives accompanying her?”

Moreover, Liel wouldn’t possibly allow Shane and Chafne to be alone together, even if it ant forcing others to co along.

Unfortunately, this poor Stone Woman Clan Chief did not know that, last night, Shane had already been alone with Chafne for a very long ti, until it was almost dawn before he ca out from Chafne’s room.

Even the several nights before had been spent alone with Chafne.

Unaware of these facts, Liel went on talking.

“This ti, three executives will accompany Lord Chafne to the Central City of the Moon Demon Territory, including myself, Hart from the Bi’an Clan, and Xi Sai from the Alien Spirit Clan.”

Liel ntioned sothing that caught Shane’s attention.

“Xi Sai?” Shane pondered for a mont, then asked, “Is that the brother of that guy nad Sean, the clan leader of the Alien Spirit Clan, and one of Chafne’s executives?”

“Yes.” Liel nodded, “This ti to the Central City of the Moon Demon Territory, Xi Sai also brought along his younger brother, saying he wants to show him around the Central City. Hart has brought along Greykville, probably targeting Lord Chafne, right?”

Which ans, not counting Shane, there are five Legendary-level powerhouses accompanying Chafne this ti, among them several are top-tier Legendary.

Naturally, Liel is the top expert of the Enchanting Demon Territory, just a step away from the Limit Level, definitely the leader among the Legendary powerhouses present.

Hart ranks second only to Liel among the powerhouses of the Enchanting Demon Territory, with a Level of 97, his strength is easily discernible.

Grey is even stronger than Hart, even capable of rivaling Liel. Had he not run away from ho and embraced the Demon Realm, the title of the top warrior among the Aridya Clan might not have been preserved.

As for that Xi Sai and Sean…

“Are they also going?”

Shane sounded sowhat concerned.

“What?” Liel noticed and asked, “Is there any problem?”

“No.” Shane replied calmly, “Just wanted to ask you, how capable are those brothers?”

“They’re decent.” Liel seed sowhat dismissive, “Although the Alien Spirit Clan ranks fourth among the clans within the Enchanting Demon City, their group ranks fourth mainly because there are two Legendary powerhouses in their clan, but if we talk about their strength among Legends, these brothers are just barely acceptable.”

“Really?” Shane inquired thoughtfully, “What are their levels?”

Liel made no attempt to hide this information.

“Xi Sai’s level is 94, ranking fifth among the eight top executives under Lord Chafne, just before that pair of guarding Rock Giant brothers and a foolish enchantress who was punished by Lord Chafne. For the various clans within Enchanting Demon City, he is an undeniable strong figure, but to us executives, he can hardly be described as active or outstanding, just passable.”

Liel actually evaluated a Legendary Demon Clan power with a level as high as 94 in this way.

“As for that Sean, I heard his level is only 91, always looking to be one of Lord Chafne’s executives, yet can’t even defeat that pair of Rock Giants with lower levels than him, far inferior to Xi Sai, let alone compared with the other executives. He’s just been daydreaming. Probably the real reason he is coming this ti, just like Greykville, is targeting Lord Chafne.”

Liel seed quite dissatisfied with the situation.

To her, anyone who harbored improper thoughts about her master was nothing but a delusional fool.

In her words,

“Lord Chafne would never fancy re n. When will these foolish guys understand?”

Liel’s tone was full of disdain, she even cast a glance at Shane, hinting at sothing indirectly.

Shane arched an eyebrow, wanting to tell the Stone Woman who truly harbored improper thoughts about her own master that her so-called “re n” had been favored by Lord Chafne more than a few tis.

But thinking of the consequences, Shane suppressed the suicidal thought.

However…

“Level 91?” Shane murmured, “This is really interesting.”

“What?” Liel asked curiously.

“Nothing,” Shane still replied, but added with a bit of playfulness, “It might be wise to pay more attention to that Sean, he’s not as incompetent as you think.”

With that, Shane walked past Liel, yawning as he continued toward the gathering spot.

Seeing this, Liel frowned.

“What did he an by that?”

Liel felt like Shane was implying sothing.

“Just being mysterious.”

Not long after, Liel pursed her lips and ignored the matter, heading in the direction of Chafne’s room.

Enchanting Demon Castle, in front of the square.

Here, besides the brothers of the Rock Giants who stood in front of the gate, immobile like statues, the people Liel ntioned had already gathered.

There were Hart and Gray from the Bi’an Clan.

And Xi Sai and Sean from the Alien Spirit Clan.

At this mont, these four legendary level powerhouses were gathered together, engaging in conversation.

“I didn’t expect you to co, Gray.”

Xi Sai looked at the prince-like handso man standing beside Hart, his tone a mix of surprise and wariness.

“He’s here too?”

Sean’s expression subtly changed the mont he saw Gray, mumbling under his breath.

Gray saw the brothers from the Alien Spirit Clan, just smiled, and remained silent.

Instead, it was Hart who looked at Sean, then at Xi Sai, and semi-smirked as he took over the conversation.

“Didn’t expect it to be you, Xi Sai.” Hart said oddly, “I thought only Wendy, besides and Liel, would be allowed to accompany.”

The Wendy Hart referred to was one of the top eight lieutenants under Enchanting Demon, ranked third in strength, right after Liel and Hart.

Previously, whenever Chafne went out, unless unexpected, she would only bring Liel with her, while other lieutenants needed to stay behind in Enchanting Demon City, to manage affairs in the city and the Enchanting Demon Territory.

This ti, possibly due to the upcoming Three Clans’ eting and the unrest inside the Demon Realm recently, after Liel’s suggestion, Chafne decided to increase the lieutenants accompanying her from one to three.

Upon hearing this news, Hart imdiately jumped at the opportunity, even pulling Gray into the picture, claiming the need for another free strong hand, and successfully secured an accompanint slot from Liel.

In the remaining two slots, Liel would certainly occupy one, and Hart had thought the third-ranked lieutenant Wendy would get the other.

Yet, it turned out to be Xi Sai, who usually perford reliably but unremarkably, no wonder Hart felt surprised.

To this, Xi Sai remained expressionless.

“To secure this slot, I also paid quite a price and even brought my brother along. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be necessarily easy to win against Wendy.”

That’s what Xi Sai said.

Beside him, Sean also sneaked a sly smile.

“With both of us brothers joining, two legendary level powerhouses, it wouldn’t be likely to lose to one person.”

Even if the opponent was the third-ranking lieutenant under Chafne, if Xi Sai and Sean joined forces, adding a bit of a price, it indeed wasn’t impossible to win the slot.

“You didn’t just pay the price now, right?” Hart, sowhat alarmingly, said to Xi Sai, “Wendy didn’t get the slot and knows you orchestrated it, it’s impossible he won’t give you trouble.”

“I know.” Xi Sai remained impassive, “But for this rare opportunity to serve Lord Chafne, any price is worth paying.”

“Well, that’s also true.” Hart spread his hands and said no more.

Until Shane appeared, yawning.
