Chapter 774: 707 Hostility? Barely okay?

“Hmm?”

When Shane walked out of the Enchanting Demon Castle, he saw a congregation of legendary figures on the plaza in front of the door, and his eyebrows twitched slightly.

The gazes of the legendary figures also gathered on Shane’s body, and they looked at this human with flickering stares.

“You’ve arrived.”

Only Gray nodded friendly toward Shane.

On the other hand, Sean seed sowhat surprised to see Shane.

“Are you the one who breached the ban last ti?”

Sean appeared very astonished as if he hadn’t expected Shane to be there.

However, Shane looked back with a smile that was not quite a smile and paid no heed to this person who had so connection with him. Instead, his focus shifted toward Xi Sai.

Xi Sai noticed Shane’s gaze.

Because he, too, was observing Shane.

Imdiately, Xi Sai approached Shane.

“So, you are the human who has recently caused a stir in Enchanting Demon City, deeply favored by the Enchanting Demon Lord, suspected to be the rumored Hero reincarnated?” Xi Sai said aningfully, “I’ve long admired your na, Count Shane Beizitu.”

Hearing this, Shane narrowed his eyes and smiled.

“Are you the Clan Leader of the Alien Spirit Clan that Liel ntioned, only diocre and barely adequate, Xi Sai?”

Shane’s words were sowhat taunting.

No, not sowhat, they were a taunt.

At least, everyone present understood it that way.

“Is there so bad blood between them?”

Hart looked at Gray, sowhat surprised.

“Not sure.”

Gray shook his head.

“Hey!”

Sean shouted at Shane.

However, Xi Sai’s eyes flickered a few tis and he calmly said, “It seems like you bear so animosity toward , Count Beizut.”

In response to Xi Sai’s words, Shane waved his hand and shook his head.

“It’s not animosity,” Shane said with a smile, “I just find it odd. Does everyone in the Enchanting Demon Territory have poor judgnt, rating you as diocre and barely adequate?”

Instantly, Xi Sai’s pupils shrank slightly, and even the expression on Sean’s face changed a little.

A thought struck both brothers simultaneously.

(Has he discovered it?)

No, that’s impossible.

They had used a special tool given by the higher authorities, and even a Level 10 “Identification” skill shouldn’t be able to detect it for the ti being.

Hadn’t Lord Parren also said that in the Demon Realm, aside from Moon Demon Sela, even other demons would not be able to see through their guise?

Perhaps it was due to his uniqueness?

Right, he is a Hero.

The Holy Sword possessed incredibly strong powers, one of which was to enhance the Hero’s skill level.

Thus, this Hero might possess an “Identification” skill that exceeded Level 10.

Thinking this, Xi Sai and Sean both sweated, feeling a great sense of alarm rising within them.

Xi Sai even feigned calmness, looking toward Shane.

“Thank you for your complint, but compared to the top-ranked leaders, I indeed have many shortcomings.”

Xi Sai’s statent, rather than being defiant, seed like a test of Shane’s truth.

Shane rely looked at Xi Sai like that, and after a while, he lost interest.

“Whatever you say, I’m an outsider, what can I prove?”

Shane turned his head and continued yawning. The assertiveness from just a mont ago seed to have turned to languor.

Xi Sai inwardly breathed a sigh of relief, yet felt imnse pressure. He exchanged glances with Sean and ultimately both fell completely silent.

Hart and Gray watched this unfold, seemingly confused about what was happening; their faces were filled with doubt.

Everyone ceased speaking, leaving the scene enveloped in a rather oppressive silence.

Fortunately, this oppressive silence did not last long.

“Lady Chafne!”

At the Enchanting Demon Castle’s gates, the Rock Giant brothers suddenly moved, kneeling on one knee toward the door.

Inside, escorted by Liel, Chafne, like Shane, ca out yawning.

However, unlike the sowhat disheveled Shane, the languid appearance of Chafne exuded an astounding beauty like that of an ancient noble concubine.

“Lady Chafne!”

“Lady Chafne!”

Seeing Chafne like this, Hart, Xi Sai, and even Sean stared blankly, excitedly shouting with so loss of composure.

“My Lady…”

Gray couldn’t help but gaze at Chafne, his eyes filled with enchantnt.

This Enchanting Demon Lord suddenly beca the most dazzling existence in the entire world, radiant and stunningly beautiful, irresistibly enchanting.

Even Shane cursed the fairy for what he didn’t know was the umpteenth ti in his heart and quickly turned his head away, refusing to look at her.

Chafne, without any trace, glanced at Shane and, seeing him turning his head to look at the sky, felt both annoyed and amused.

However, Chafne didn’t strike up a conversation with Shane, nor did she care how many people had gathered, but simply asked Liel languidly,

“Can we set off now?”

Chafne seed uninterested in talking to anyone else.

“Any ti, Lady Chafne.”

Liel responded imdiately.

“Good,” Chafne nodded, saying, “Then let’s set off.”

“Yes,” Liel replied, and at the sa ti, she pulled out sothing from her bosom.

It was a pen.

A pen that seed to be made entirely of crystal.

After taking out the pen, Liel began drawing on the ground.

“What is this?”

Shane naturally noticed this scene and asked with interest.

Seeing this, Xi Sai and Sean, not to ntion Hart and Gray, were about to explain it to Shane.

But just before the two could speak, Chafne, who hadn’t acknowledged anyone’s greeting, took the initiative to speak first.

“That is a kind of extrely rare magic tal only found in the Demon Realm, crafted by several magic tool creators of the top level skill using more than a dozen special magics, combined with various other rare materials, and there’s only a one percent chance of successful creation of such advanced magic tools.”

Chafne spoke leisurely.

Seeing Chafne speak up, Hart and Gray both closed their mouths and looked towards Shane with complex expressions.

Not just Hart and Gray, even Xi Sai and Sean felt the sa.

Unfazed towards everyone else, and showing no interest in any n present, but when Shane asked a question, Chafne was the first to respond?

From this alone, everyone could see that Chafne’s attitude towards Shane was different from her attitude towards others.

Shane had not noticed this, and as he watched the giant pattern gradually being outlined by Liel with the crystal pen, he still voiced out curiously,

“Such a rare advanced magic tool? What is its purpose?”

Shane had already sensed sothing special from the giant pattern Liel was drawing.

Having studied Grant Magic, a widely applicable magic, and having understood various magical characteristics, he could discern so mysteries from this pattern.

It seed that the pattern drawn by this crystal pen was very significant.

Sure enough…

“Its purpose is simple; it’s for transportation,” Chafne pointed to the pattern beneath her feet and explained, “Just stand inside it and activate it with enough power, and it can instantly create a portal to any destination, allowing us to arrive there at maximum speed.”

“This…” Shane said in astonishnt, “A space transfer tool?”

Such a tool exists in this world?

While Shane was amazed, Chafne denied it.

“It isn’t a space transfer tool, just a transporter. The portal it constructs envelops us and shuttles us at an incredible speed. The principle is similar to the inter-world passages between the Demon Realm and the Human Realm, except the latter connects specific locations between two fixed worlds, while this can set the desired destination at any ti but can only be used in the Demon Realm.”

The reason it only worked in the Demon Realm was that the transport channel built by the crystal pen resonated with a certain vein in the ground, leveraging its power.

That type of vein only existed in the Demon Realm, hence the crystal pen only worked there.

“Using it, it would take us about an hour to reach the central city in the Moon Demon Territory,” Chafne explained, “Normally, my six sisters and I use this thod for quick gatherings and etings, so each of the six territories has such a crystal pen.”

Upon hearing this, Shane finally realized.

Although not a space transfer tool he’d imagined, being able to travel from the Enchanting Demon Territory to the Moon Demon Territory in just an hour was still astounding.

Given that the Demon Realm was larger than both the Human Realm and the Divine World combined, even constantly using Instant Movent, Shane wouldn’t possibly make it from the Enchanting Demon Territory to the Moon Demon Territory within an hour.

Not even Laischa, using space transfer abilities for travel, could do that.

If riding You Lin at maximum speed without rest, it would still roughly take several days and nights.

Now, a crystal pen managing it in an hour was certainly remarkable.

Of course…

“This magical tool is very demanding in terms of magic power, the further the distance, the more magic power it requires,” Chafne explained.

“Typically, to transport from Enchanting Demon City to Central City, the magic power required is more than what many powerful mbers of the Demon Clan can provide, and only a Great Legendary Mage could satisfy it, thus, we usually use expensive Magic Crystals to replace the intense consumption of magic power, even I am reluctant to bear that scale of magic power consumption.”

Hearing this, Shane suddenly beca interested.

“How about, let try this ti?”

Shane actually wanted to see how much of his own magic power would be needed to satisfy the transportation conditions.

“You?”

Chafne was slightly taken aback and looked at Shane.

So did everyone else.

Such a heavy consumption, and others would avoid it if possible, yet this Human Hero was actually ready to bear it?

Quite a sturdy head…
