"Mother, is that girl getting better?" Rhiannon Xavier stayed by Mrs. Xavier’s side and asked kindly, "Old Mr. Downey is such a skilled doctor, he should be able to cure her, right?"

"Of course he can, don’t worry." Mrs. Xavier patted her hand, showing a relieved smile, "This young girl is quite fortunate, and she has a connection with the Xavier Family."

Hearing this, Rhiannon felt a sense of crisis, her heart skipped a beat, but she still maintained a smile, accompanying her mother as they walked on—

"Mother, if one day she wakes up, will she leave here?" the girl probed.

"She has her own family, she will definitely leave." Mrs. Xavier replied without hesitation, "She has been lost for such a long ti, her family must be so worried."

Just like when she lost her daughter, she missed her dearly every day.

"Then... what if she hurt her head? What if she lost her mory and couldn’t rember where her ho is?" Rhiannon asked again, imagining many scenarios for the future.

This question, Mrs. Xavier had not really considered before.

But now, since her daughter asked, she pondered, "If she can’t rember, and has nowhere to go, the Xavier Family is large enough, we surely would take her in, we can’t just send her away, that room will belong to her."

Rhiannon listened with a tinge of jealousy, even if it was just a room, she was currently the young lady of the Xavier Family, without blood ties, yet possessing everything enviable.

"Yes, yes." She said as she walked, leaning closer to her mother’s shoulder, "Mother’s heart is so kind, the Xavier Family is sure to get better and better."

"Forming good ties and doing good deeds is never wrong." Mrs. Xavier had a firm belief, to accumulate virtue for the younger generation, even though her daughter wasn’t by her side, she would surely live well, right?

"Rhiannon, when are you going abroad? You haven’t ntioned it lately."

"Mother, I don’t plan to go abroad anymore." The girl turned her gaze towards her, "I want to spend more ti with you and father, and my brother."

Upon hearing this, the middle-aged woman was quite happy, "If you don’t want to go abroad, then don’t. Life is short, we should do what we want to do."

"Yes, I just want to stay by my parents’ side now." She looked particularly cherishing, clingy and affectionate.

Mrs. Xavier couldn’t help but reflect, "From childhood to now, teachers and parents have always taught us how to succeed, attend a good university, find a good job, but no one ever taught us to be happy."

"At my age, I think more about what happiness is." The middle-aged woman treated her as her own daughter, "Happiness may not have a right answer, but doing what we love should also be happiness."

So, if you want to stay, then stay.

As an elder, she would never force the younger generation to do anything, she was an open-minded mother.

"Mother, has brother been... very busy lately?" Rhiannon missed him a bit, "It’s been days since I’ve seen him."

"He’s on a business trip."

"He’s so busy, I want to help him at the company. Do you think... father could arrange a position for ?"

"Have you directly talked to your brother about this?" Mrs. Xavier responded, "Why don’t you ask him directly, he’s the one handling the company, your father might not even know which position needs soone."

So, does it an that even family can only join if there’s a vacancy?

Rhiannon wasn’t naive; she seed to catch the underlying implication in her mother’s words, asking her to find her brother? Her brother being so aloof, how could he possibly arrange sothing for her?
