In the room, Mrs. Xavier sat at the edge of the bed. She held the unconscious girl in one arm, letting her lean against her elbow, while the other hand held a spoon, the porridge at just the right temperature.

Thanks to her deft feeding technique, she’d soon finished feeding the entire bowl of porridge, and a satisfied smile appeared on Mrs. Xavier’s face.

"Madam, only when you feed her yourself can she finish every ti," Old Mr. Downey said with a benevolent smile and sighed, "With anyone else, she can only manage half a bowl."

"Feeding porridge shouldn’t be rushed; there’s a certain skill to it. From now on, I’ll do the feeding myself."

She took the handkerchief and gently wiped the girl’s lips, a pure display of motherly love.

Then she carefully laid her down and said knowingly, "You can’t feed her too much; smaller, more frequent als are better."

"Yes, eating too much would strain her stomach, and her stomach is also injured and recovering. You are very considerate, Madam." The old man took her pulse every day, and recently there had been so improvent.

"Thank you for your hard work; it’s all thanks to you," Mrs. Xavier said, tucking her in, "Please notify imdiately if there’s any change."

"Alright, Madam."

She picked up the empty bowl and stepped out.

At this ti, Rhiannon Xavier directly found her mother’s personal maid and went straight to her room.

"Hello, Miss," the maid said, surprised, and quickly bowed.

"Judy, let ask you, has Madam had anything on her mind recently? Like... does she want to buy sothing but hasn’t gotten it for so reason?"

"Or perhaps she has a wish?"

This made Judy a bit puzzled. She didn’t know what the young lady was asking, so she was unsure how to reply.

"Oh, co on, speak up!" Rhiannon urged anxiously, "I’ve got nothing to do at ho recently, and I want to help Mother share so of her burdens. It’s that simple! That’s why I ca to ask you!"

"Madam she...," Judy’s mind turned, and she answered truthfully, "Madam doesn’t lack anything. Her biggest wish lately is that the girl might wake up soon."

"What for?!" The girl blurted out anxiously.

This question stunned Judy. What?? She doesn’t want her to wake up??

Due to Judy’s mont of surprise, Rhiannon realized her mistake and quickly softened her tone, "She hopes the girl will wake up soon so she can leave the Xavier Family, right?"

Judy was confused but shook her head, "I don’t know, but... she can’t stay in a coma forever, right?"

Oh dear! She was really getting anxious!! Now it’s like, neither waking up nor staying asleep is a good option.

Even though she hasn’t woken up, Mother checks on her eight hundred tis a day! Almost to the point of staying with her all night!

If she wakes up and Mother can’t bear to let her go, what if she decides to give her to Nathan??

Rhiannon could hardly bring herself to think further.

At this mont, a voice ca from the doorway—

"Miss?"

Rhiannon, hearing this, turned her head to see the maid speaking to her, "Miss, Madam is looking for you."

She quickly ca back to her senses, "Where’s Mother?"

"In the back garden."

"Alright." Rhiannon turned and headed toward the back garden. She wasn’t sure why Mother was looking for her, but she wanted to see her mother.

The Xavier Family’s back garden is vast, maintained by a dedicated gardener. The flowers and plants were lush, and the layout was well-designed, especially in this season, with many butterflies fluttering about.

Mrs. Xavier was strolling in the garden. Not long after, her daughter appeared in her sight, "Mother!" she called out joyfully.

The girl in the dress happily ran to her, wrapping her arm around Mrs. Xavier’s elbow, resting her head playfully on her shoulder, "Mother, you were looking for ?"

"I was thinking you’re ho, and the weather’s nice today. How about keeping company for a walk?" Mrs. Xavier hugged her shoulders, doting on this daughter.

For, in Rhiannon, she placed the mories and longing for her own biological daughter.
