As the Ti Freeze switched to Ultra Rapid Regeneration, ti started to run again.
With that shout from Zhao Yao, every virtual-spirit apostle that was invisible and formless all stared at Zhao Yao at that mont. Their gazes were fixed on the red spot of light that shot out from the Paralysis Ring. As the sound rang out from the Paralysis Ring, all the apostles gathered around the spot of red light.
Even the middle-aged man who flew out from the hotel chased back in as he was attracted to the red light from the Paralysis Ring.
Promise scread in alarm as Sphynx cat had already dragged her and barged down through the floors of the building chasing after the red spot of light.
Formless scread, "D*mn it, Headless Horseman, are you bent on launching a full-scale battle with us? Don’t forget about the poison in your body. Quick, stop whatever you’re doing now!"
Zhao Yao ambled around the floor leading the huge crowd of invisible and formless virtual-spirit apostles with him with the power of the Paralysis Ring. Hearing Formless’ words, he scoffed and said, "You have the cheek to threaten with that little bit of poison? I will be your grandson if I utter a sound in pain."
Formless was mad with rage but he did not want to kill the Headless Horseman on the spot. Afterall, he might still have so of the Dark Scorch Army and the supercat of the Dark Scorch Army on top of all the supercats he owned. Killing him off just like that would be too much of a waste.
At the thought of that Formless scread, "Promise, what are you doing? Quick, stop him!"
Bam! The floor beneath them erupted from the impact of a huge force as Promise jumped up in rage. She turned and stared at Zhao Yao as she said, "Headless Horseman, you’re really getting on my nerves..."
Bang! A cat paw slamd Promise’s head and the she flew out with a loud thud. However, she could only fly for three ters before Sphynx cat caught her by the feet and slamd her on the floor.
As the floor suddenly cracked and gave way, both cat and lady fell downwards, crashing through the floors below. The massive sound of the floors giving way as they blasted apart were mixed with Promise’s screams.
"Get lost! You d*mned cat!"
"Let go!"
"Ahh!!!"
Promise’s voice quickly changed from angry screams to terrified screams which ultimately turned into screams of anguish.
The next mont, as black shadows burst up from below, the crowd saw Promise all covered in blood trying to crawl up before the unknown mass of black dragged her down again.
Only the hands of Promise were seen flailing in midair as she scread, "Formless! Save..."
Roar! A shout was heard, followed by Promise’s screams of agony as she struggled in the mass of black.
"The Headless Horseman!"
"Quick, stop him!"
"Please!"
Hearing the sounds that ca from Promise the virtual-spirit apostles at the scene were dumbstruck and rooted to the spot. Since when did the lady who could break buildings with her bare hands scread for rcy and what kind of monster was she up against?
Although they knew that the Headless Horseman seed to have a very strong supercat with him, they did not expect him to be able to subdue Promise whose body had the powers of 500 strong apostles combined.
Formless’ tone changed imdiately as well. He chased the red spot as he said, "Enough, Headless Horseman, we can remove the poison in your body that has not acted up yet. Let everything stop now today, shall we?"
Zhao Yao did not reply to him and continued to circle around the sa floor.
As Promise’s screams weakened, Formless panicked. "Did you hear ! Ti is running out. If you don’t agree with us, the outer layers of the poisonous pill in your body will dissolve. If we don’t take it out for you, you will die!"
Zhao Yao circled around the sa floor for a few tis as he thought to himself, "If the cat from the virtual-spirit army was here he should have been attracted to my Paralysis Ring by now." He heard Formless’ words at that mont and scoffed in disdain as he said, "It’s just a bit of poison, just take it that I have lost if I scream out in pain."
"You!" Formless was enraged. "You’re crazy."
The next mont, Zhao Yao suddenly stopped and touched his stomach. After a while, the sensation eased and he continued walking again.
Formless’ gaze lit up as he said, "Headless Horseman, has the poison started acting up? The first to act up will be the white arsenic. You will experience intense pain in your stomach and vomit blood thereafter. We can take out the poison in your stomach now before the other layers of the poison dissolve in your body. You still have a chance..."
"Scared of poison? That’s definitely not ." Zhao Yao smirked but at the next mont he suddenly opened his mouth and involuntarily exhaled. After which he continued to lead the crowd along, as if nothing had happened.
Formless was shocked. "How is this possible? White arsenic should cause intense pain in a person’s stomach, why does this guy have no reaction to it? No, sothing is wrong." He looked at Zhao Yao who was trembling slightly and thought to himself, "It must be so painful that his body is trembling already. He can actually withstand such intense pain. This guy’s will is really strong."
Formless shouted again, "Enough, Headless Horseman. We admit your strength and greatness. Now release your control over us and we will help you to remove the white arsenic and the remaining poison from your body. Thereafter, we will retreat from this city."
Zhao Yao felt so good that he was trembling a little. He scoffed when he heard that, "Retreat... your... ass. Just wait... to go... to jail... you guys."
Formless was exasperated. "You’re in so much pain you can’t even speak properly. Why are you still putting up a strong front?"
Zhao Yao stopped again as his body trembled even more.
Formless frowned. He knew that the rest of the poison had started acting up one by one, and that the other party was dood.
He shook his head and said, "Headless Horseman, you’re really..." He stared as Zhao Yao’s body started shaking uncontrollably and his face contorted as he clenched his teeth tightly without uttering a sound. At the sight of this, even Formless had to admire him for his determination and will.
Formless thought of the white arsenic, cyanide, caustic soda, and paraquat he had put in the poison and shuddered.
"This guy. With eight different kinds of poison acting up in his body at the sa ti, won’t his organs be in intense pain? Even death by a thousand cuts would not be as bad as this. How can he stand this? Doesn’t he have any sense of pain?"
The next mont, he saw Zhao Yao bending his back in ’pain’. Formless had full admiration for him as he thought to himself, "The Headless Horseman could actually withstand such intense pain. What sort of will is this? You’re truly the strongest man of all strong n... I give it to you. After you die, I will arrange for soone to clean up your body."
The middle-aged man who had been running along was stunned as well. Tears welled up in his eyes as he stared at the Headless Horseman who was in intense ’pain’ from being poisoned. "Stop acting strong, Headless Horseman, just shout out your pain!"
"Shout your ass! My iron will is not sothing you guys can understand," Zhao Yao opened his mouth as he spoke with a contradicting mix of anger and pleasure. "You b*stards, what exactly did you stuff into my body?"
"You guys... are finished..."
"You guys... are dead..."
"I’m so... angry..."
Catherine owed in Zhao Yao’s hands, "Zhao Yao, why do you sound exactly like Lucifer now?"
"Don’t talk to about Lucifer."
Thinking about how the effect of the Paralysis Ring was about to co to a stop, Zhao Yao aid the ring at Catherine. Everyone’s vision turned black as they fell to the ground asleep.
In an instant, hundreds of people squeezed together in the void of space and slumped to the floor at once, like dumplings being dropped in a pot.
