Snap!
Under the ferocious wash of the towering wave, everything seed insignificant.
The surging tide, bearing the unrivaled force of nature, struck with whiteness atop the waves, toppling Ma Shaoyu and his party of seven who were preparing to surf, into the sea in an instant.
This proved not everyone can stand at the forefront of the waves.
Compared to the enormous tsunami, Ma Shaoyu and his friends were like shrimp and fish, powerless to resist; the impact of the waves turned their skin red and their heads dizzy. Plunging into the sea, they couldn’t distinguish north from south or the stars from the moon.
And after falling into the sea, only then did Ma Shaoyu and the others realize that it was filled with countless fish of all colors and sizes, swarming so densely that it seed a srizing scene of fish swimming freely.
These fish appeared very strange, all swimming in the sa direction, seemingly accompanying the waves, possibly even adding montum to the tsunami. When Ma Shaoyu and company fell into the sea, they were imdiately engulfed by these brightly colored fish.
Soon after, each person could feel as if the fish were kissing their skin with their tiny mouths.
Feeling surrounded by fish and unable to surface for air, their breathing grew more and more rapid. Ma Shaoyu and his friends imdiately activated the ergency mode of their foldable swimming suits.
In an instant, the swimming suits they wore began to disassemble internally, rapidly expanding outwards, pushing away all the surrounding seawater and fish, eventually inflating into a sphere about two ters in diater.
After the sphere ford, with the internal pressure and buoyancy factor changing, a force erged within the water, swiftly ejecting each sphere from the sea. Due to the excessive thrust, the spheres shot up from the water like cannonballs, soaring ters into the air followed by a cascade of fish leaping out, creating a spectacular sight.
Once the waves had passed, seven swimming spheres floated on the relatively calm surface; each person felt as though they had escaped from the jaws of death.
However, the tsunami was far from over. It rely swept past where Ma Shaoyu and the others had been and continued onward.
Slap, slap!
With each distance the wave covered, its might intensified, ruthlessly slamming into the island and destroying nurous plants and structures.
Lu Xing, cowering inside his villa, saw the wave grow to over fifty ters high and realized this was bad. He communicated with the house managent system, concluding that even though the villa might be sturdy, it would not withstand the battering of the waves.
Therefore, Lu Xing proposed to activate the ergency plan, transforming the villa into a fly-house.
Now in the era of nomads, Earth Civilization having reached the third level, houses were no longer quaint antiques. Any object could be considered a true smart ho.
To deal with various unknown dangers, Earth’s house building technology had evolved drastically with civilization’s advancent. While foundations were still necessary, they could now be separated from the house. Both would be connected via air pressure technology, which was much more secure than the concrete and rebar structures of the past. In an ergency, the hoowner could disconnect the air pressure linkage, separating the house from its foundation, upon which the house could transform into a car-house or boat-house, depending on the situation.
Even so high-tech houses could transform into fly-houses, soaring directly into the sky.
It could be said that, in the nomadic era, house construction technology had developed into a production line model. First, the house would be assembled in a factory, then fitted onto a foundation built to specification at the residence.
However, to ensure that foundations could be reused and not wasted with each relocation, Earth Civilization had enforced strict standards for foundations, making them as interchangeable as parking spots used to be—any style of house could dock with any other foundation type.
And now, foundations utilized a nine-grid design and production standard.
Thus, even small houses could directly connect with large foundations. If needed, small foundations could be expanded by adding grids around them, making the system highly adaptable.
Moreover, due to air pressure technology and the use of vibration damping tal materials for both the foundation and house base, these could significantly guard against earthquakes. Essentially, tremors below magnitude four or five would be imperceptible inside the house.
"Sorry, voiceprint does not match; you are not the owner of this house equipnt and cannot activate the ergency plan."
Upon hearing Lu Xing’s proposal, the house managent system responded with an indifferent yet sweetly lodic electronic voice.
This left Lu Xing with no choice but to roll his eyes exaggeratedly—what a ti to stand on ceremony! As an intelligent system, you surely can detect the tsunami outside. Ha, house system, seems like your na should be "Woman"!
Though he internally mocked, Lu Xing knew this was programd. Without the proper authority, he could neither change nor operate the system.
So, Lu Xing didn’t bother arguing with the house system. He simply picked up a kitchen knife, found the mainfra of the house system, and deftly cracked open the casing. Then, using a microcomputer, he connected to the system’s base operational interface, attempting to hack the system’s built-in permission settings.
"Warning warning... You are currently violating Ma Shaoyu’s private property. Please stop imdiately, or you will face a maximum of ten years of legal imprisonnt. This will cause your personal credit system to accrue black marks, leading to negative social credit, loss of privileges to take out loans, fly, or leave Earth, among others. Your actions will also label your social behavior as adverse, with restrictions on human interactions. For the sake of your own bright future, please stop committing this cri imdiately..."
This voice ssage was part of the system’s programming, deliberately listing the various repercussions and miserable outcos to deter and hopefully persuade the criminal to reflect and return to the right path.
But Lu Xing, focused on cracking the system’s permissions, barely heard what the system was saying.
In the end, Lu Xing, with Herculean effort, inputted over ten thousand strings of code in a very short ti, nearly breaking the keyboard, and finally hacked the highest system authority just before the wave hit.
Taking a relieved breath, Lu Xing didn’t hesitate to activate the ergency plan...
At that mont, the sizable villa began to transform rapidly, especially around the previously reserved nozzles at the base, which suddenly spewed out dazzling flas, lifting the entire villa gradually upward.
Snap!
Just then, the increasingly tumultuous giant wave struck.
The highest crest almost grazed past the base of the house, with plenty of seawater evaporating into steam by the continuous flas...
