South Sea, Shu Mountain.

Inside the Daoist temple, cries of battle and screams of agony were intertwined.

Flas soared into the sky, dyeing the night sky crimson.

The usually tranquil Daoist temple had beco a place of bloodshed.

Shuyan Disciples, clad in Daoist robes, wielded longswords in fierce combat against the intruding mbers of the Five Black Classes.

The shadows of swords flickered, carrying a sharp montum with every swing, but gradually beca weakened under the reckless attacks of the Five Black Class desperadoes.

mbers of the Five Black Classes wore bizarre outfits, their hair dyed red and yellow. Before the Spiritual Energy Revival, most had been hoodlums and vagabonds.

When it ca to bravery and savagery, none of them were afraid.

The Five Black Class mbers surged like a tide, their faces ferocious, wielding batons, cleavers, and knuckle dusters that glinted with cold light.

Innocent and courteous Daoists, tonight faced the desecration by sewer rats.

On the ground lay nurous injured and dead individuals, blood staining the stone-ground, flowing down the channels, converging into a startling pool of blood.

The chief disciple of Shu Mountain had a blade piercing his chest, yet he clung to his sword hilt, using his last bit of strength to uphold Shu Mountain’s honor.

The young junior sister was hidden by several senior brothers in the Three Pristine Ones Hall, beneath the shrine, clutching her arms, trembling incessantly, tears streaming from her terror-filled eyes.

She muttered:

"Sect Leader, when will you return? Senior Brother is about to die."

Just then, a Five Black Class mber with green hair suddenly lifted the red cloth covering the shrine, causing the junior sister to quiver with fright.

The Five Black Class mber jeered:

"There’s one hiding here."

He wielded a trident dagger, stabbing towards the terrified and shaking junior sister.

The Five Black Class mber suddenly let out a heart-wrenching scream. Flas enveloped him, instantly turning him into charcoal.

The junior sister covered her ears, screaming aloud.

A fragrant breeze wafted in, and a soft hand was placed upon the junior sister’s face.

The junior sister, with tear-filled eyes, lifted her head to see a lady who carried a heavy aura of the worldly.

Honey Slaughter Blade Xiao Yaoyao spoke softly:

"It’s okay now. I saved your life; if Zhang Xiaoyi cos to settle scores with one day, you must plead for and ensure I haven’t hard any Shu Mountain disciples~"

After speaking, Honey Slaughter Blade glanced at her wristwatch, mumbling:

"Ti’s about right, ti to retreat."

With that, Honey Slaughter Blade swiftly dashed out of the Three Pristine Ones Hall.

...

The Shu Mountain disciples retreated as they fought, withdrawing to the training ground outside the Human Emperor Hall.

The Human Emperor Hall is the faith and dignity of the Shu Mountain disciples.

If they allowed the thieves to infiltrate the Human Emperor Hall and desecrate the Human Emperor’s statue, it would be a great disgrace indeed.

The Gemini brothers, along with the Yellow-skinned Immortal and the remaining Five Black Classes mbers, slowly closed in.

The elder brother of the Gemini suddenly asked:

"Where’s Honey Slaughter Blade?"

The younger brother of Gemini replied indifferently:

"Who knows? Why care about her? With so many treasures in Shu Mountain, having one less person to split them isn’t a bad thing."

The Yellow-skinned Immortal showed his yellow teeth, gazing greedily at the Human Emperor Hall, saying:

"Alas, such a vast Shu Mountain should belong to , the humble Daoist.

After looting Shu Mountain’s treasures, this humble Daoist will surely establish a sect and create a similar Daoist temple."

The severely injured chief disciple of Shu Mountain, supported by his fellow disciples, shakily stood up, raised his sword towards the Five Black Class mbers, shouting angrily:

"Fellow disciples, it’s our lack of skill that has humiliated Shu Mountain!

But even if we are cowardly, we cannot allow these scoundrels to enter the Human Emperor Hall!

Fellow disciples, prepare to fight for our lives!

When the Sect Leader returns, he will avenge us!"

The Shu Mountain disciples shouted in unison, drew their longswords, eyes unwavering.

The Yellow-skinned Immortal sneered:

"Your Sect Leader? Hahaha...

Your Sect Leader is struggling to protect himself; he won’t be coming back."

The great leader said tonight he would intercept Zhang Xiaoyi, allowing the Five Black Class mbers to loot Shu Mountain’s wealth freely.

That’s why the great leader can lead the Five Black Classes.

He handles the toughest and most dangerous tasks, while his subordinates reap the rewards.

Who wouldn’t admire such a leader, who wouldn’t follow such a leader?

Just then, a bolt of lightning fell from the sky, striking the training ground rcilessly.

In the lightning, a Daoist with an ethereal appearance, handso face appeared.

His face was pale, chewing spiritual wisdom, eyes brimming with lightning.

"Sect Leader?"

"The Sect Leader is back!"

"We’ve won, we’ve won!"

The Shu Mountain disciples saw Zhang Xiaoyi appear, so cheering, so weeping.

Joy and relief clearly expressed.

With Zhang Xiaoyi here, they had their backbone.

Contrarily, on the Five Black Classes side, fear surfaced on every face.

Zhang Xiaoyi is the strongest Extraordinary in Xia Country; who here could withstand this Sect Leader of Shu Mountain?

The Gemini brothers looked stunned:

"This, how is this possible?

Didn’t the great leader say he would intercept him in the Imperial Capital?

How could, how could this happen?"

The Yellow-skinned Immortal, swallowing hard, incredulously said:

"Could it be, he killed the great leader!"

Even at this juncture, the several leaders of Five Black Classes would rather believe the great leader was killed by Zhang Xiaoyi, than accept they had been abandoned.

They wouldn’t even consider whether the great leader had used them as pawns.

One Five Black Class mber couldn’t withstand the pressure Zhang Xiaoyi brought, shouted hoarsely:

"We have numbers, kill them, kill Zhang Xiaoyi!"

Zhang Xiaoyi extended his hand, several bolts of lightning shot forth.

With just one strike, countless Five Black Class mbers fell, dead or wounded.

Zhang Xiaoyi’s eyes no longer bore the perpetual drowsiness they once did.

They were now filled with murderous intent.

This was Shu Mountain, built with his master’s lifelong efforts, and the graves of his master lay beyond the mountain.

Shu Mountain was his bottom line.

A crimson scale erged between Zhang Xiaoyi’s brows, terrifying lightning erupted from his being.

The lightning was bright, instantly turning the night into day.

The Yellow-skinned Immortal ford sealing gestures with both hands, shouting:

"Fight!"

...

South Sea, outskirts.

Here, trenches of alarming depth appeared.

Flowers, grass, and trees seed to have been ravaged by a violent hurricane.

A scene of devastation.

Wei Ming’s mouth dripped with blood, clutching the Demon Sword, lying on the ground, desperately trying to rise, but he was entirely spent.

Cao Yi breathed heavily, also slightly injured, gripping the Soul Lock Chain, about to strike Wei Ming.

Wei Ming hastily dropped the Demon Sword, repeatedly gesturing:

"I was wrong, Brother Yi, I dare not anymore, please stop, please stop."

Cao Yi looked at Wei Ming for a mont, withdrew the Soul Lock Chain.

Cao Yi irritably removed his filthy jacket, sat in the pavilion, and took out an iron wine pot from his bosom.

He panted heavily, saying:

"What ss are you caught up in, kid, fighting with like your life depends on it?"

Cao Yi took a gulp from the wine pot, slightly cald his breath, saying:

"I’ve spoken with your sister, from now on you stay in the South...."

Suddenly, Cao Yi’s body halted, he slowly lowered his head.

A sinister Demon Sword had pierced through his abdon, and warm blood flowed out.
