Standing back up, forcing a smile, I tilted my head, my emotions taking control.

"Oh, you think I’m scared? Shouldn’t you be? Written and Practical Exams, I beat you, no? Not so much of a ’genius’ are you."

Forcing a smirk and returning my gaze, she deliberately made her arm tremble while saying.

"Wow! Can you see trembling!?"

Opening her mouth, showing no respect or awareness for the over a hundred people in the cafeteria, she scread out.

"RANK 1600 OVER HERE GUYS! HE’S ANGRY, GUYS! RUN! RANK 1600 RAMPAGE INCOMING!"

"You fucki-"

Halting mid-sentence, my face flushed a bright red like a tomato, I glanced around the cafeteria, seeing practically everyone gazing at the two of us.

It’s not worth it.

It’s not worth it.

She may not have cared about what other people thought of her, but I didn’t want everyone to see as so psychopath.

...

...

...

Looking up as the table shook, two people sitting down across from him, Leo internally paused, looking at Magnus and Carissa with his eyebrows raised.

However, before Leo could even speak his mind, Haerin blurted out from beside him.

"3rd place, really? What happened to all that talk about first!? I an, you didn’t even get second."

Glaring at them, Magnus began eating while muttering.

"You two were on the sa team, and I had so rank 1600s, what did you expect to do!?"

Shrugging her shoulders, Haerin said while reaching her hand over the table and taking a piece of egg from the silent Carissa’s tray.

"The genius was paired with a bunch of random and got higher, right? Focus on surpassing her first, alright? You’re not even Leo and I’s competition."

Shaking his head, Leo added.

"You know she’s right."

Clicking his tongue, Magnus said.

"My team will be fixed by the next exam."

Clasping his hands together and rolling his eyes, Leo answered.

"We’ll see."

Gazing at Carissa, Haerin asked while resting her head on her hand.

"How about you, Carissa, any go-"

However, before Haerin could finish her sentence, a sudden ear-shattering yell sounded, echoing throughout the cafeteria.

"RANK 1600 RAMAPAGE! EVERYONE RUN BEFORE HE GETS MAD! RUN! RUN!"

Instantly, all four of their gazes shot toward the scene in the corner of a cafeteria where a familiar girl sitting could be seen yelling at the boy standing at the table before her.

"..."

Sighing, Leo muttered, the screams still coming, while pointing his fork at the pair in the corner.

"That’s what you lost to, Magnus."

Finally, having had enough, Magnus’s head shot back, and he angrily answered.

"Then how about you spar instead of just dodging!?"

Trying his best to speak over the still-sounding yells, Leo completely switched the topic, ignoring Magnus’s question, and said while observing.

"Wow, he’s just standing there and taking it. Impressive, Magnus would have flipped the table and run away at this point."

"What!?"

Ignoring the two muttering, Haerin intently gazed at the two, her eyes narrowing.

Is that...him? What is he doing with her?

Due to her notoriously bad attitude, no one dared to talk to, let alone approach, Serena.

And even if they did, they would get no response and be ignored

However, he seed to have garnered her complete and full attention.

Just when Haerin thought nothing more confusing could happen, the boy...suddenly stepped forward and sat down at the sa table as Serena, the yells coming to an abrupt halt.

Instantly, images of her purple-covered figure in the vault flooded her mind.

On the day alone, she had progressed more than she had in a thousand spars with Leo, or anyone for that matter.

She missed that feeling.

The feeling of being able to attack without worrying about getting hurt. The sensation of soone’s back touching yours. Every shock that passed through their body vibrated in yours and vice versa.

A shared passion for fighting.

With that feeling, Haerin felt as though she could defeat anything in this entire world.

Shaking her thoughts, a familiar exam question also suddenly appeared.

Oh, right...the golem question!? How did he know it would be on the exam!?

I have to ask him!

Slowly but surely, everyone forgot about the yells from seconds earlier and returned to normal eating, once again ignoring Serena.

However...her gaze lingering on Athen’s back, Haerin fell into a deep thought until a soft voice, barely as loud as a whisper, snapped her back to reality.

"What is it...Haerin?"

"Ah...!"

Looking at Carissa across from her, Haerin paused and imdiately answered, waving her hands.

"Nothing...just curious as to who would sit with her."

Side-glancing at the table with the two, which was now...sohow silent, Carissa nodded her head before standing up, to the dismay of everyone.

Imdiatly, Leo asked.

"You’re already done!?"

Shaking her head, Carissa simply said, holding her half-full tray.

"I have to practice for Dance."

With that, she left, just as silently as she ca.

Shaking his head as she left hearing distance, Leo said while thoughtfully gazing at Magnus.

"You know, if you like her, you have to show it, or she’ll never know."

"What? What the hell are you on about now!?"

Also getting up, Magnus grumpily left the table, two students of about rank 300 instantly leaving their stand-by tables and flocking to his side.

Letting out a deep sigh, Leo stood up as well.

"Might as well train, then. Nothing better to do."

Nodding her head, Haerin followed.

"I guess."

...

...

...

"..."

"..."

Picking up a piece of egg with my fork and raising it to my mouth, I prepared to bite in, but unfortunately, th egg slipped out and fell back onto my plate.

Instantly, a mutter sounded from across from , prompting glance up at Serena.

"Dumbass."

Taking a couple of deep breaths, I gritted my teeth and successfully took another bite, yet another mutter echoed simultaneously.

"Want a dal or sothing? Congrats, you used a fucking fork correctly."

Is there sothing wrong with her!?
