Seriously, I’m willing to take responsibility for every creation of mine in this world, even the mass murderers and killers...But I did not fucking make her.

I had neither the courage nor the confidence to walk away from Serena under the gaze of everyone, so my only choice was to sit.

After a few monts of silence, eating, just as I thought peace had returned to the table, Serena suddenly said.

"You know I’m going to torture you, right?"

"...Do you have no social awareness? Who the hell outright says that?"

"What? Are you trying to change the topic? I’m still going to torture you."

"Are you? Do you really think a normal person would just say that!?"

Looking up, a fierce glint shining in her dark-purple eyes, she said in a matter-of-fact tone, completely seriously.

"You know what, for you, I might just make an exception. I know my laboratory is usually off limits to everybody, but I might just turn you into a human puppet and experint on you with acid and chemicals!"

Hiding my trembling legs below the table, I simply shrugged my shoulders and asked.

"Are you obsessed with or sothing?"

"..."

Ignoring , Serena began mindlessly muttering.

"No... no... that’s too weak. I have to innovate...invent a new potion to make them feel agony every second of the day...THAT’S IT!"

Picking up a tray, I smiled and said while leaving.

"Dedicating a whole invention to , wow. Just give a flower bouquet like everyone else, alright?"

After exiting the cafeteria, I glanced in the direction of my dorm building, ultimately making a left and heading towards the massive theatre building in the distance, big enough to seat over 10,000 students at a ti.

I had based it on the beautiful Sydney Opera House, which I had been lucky enough to see during a trip with my family to Australia during my teenage years.

Only the most famous artists, whose music could quite literally force people to feel any emotion the musicians willed, could play here.

Yet, the dance club had sohow secured it for a day.

Passing by the training hall building, I entered the theatre lobby through a revolving door, like that of a hotel, and stepped on pure-white quartz ground, shiny enough to display my own reflection.

Walking up to one of the hundreds of doors leading inside the theatre, I cautiously pulled the handle, expecting the door to be locked.

Yet...the door flew open, revealing a crimson carpet leading down the aisle between the seats.

After a quick glance at the empty lobby, I slipped inside and walked down the stairs toward the towering stage.

Then, without any hesitation, I leaped upward, grasping the top of the stage and pulling myself up from the ground.

Now, sitting on the stage, I did a 220-degree turn, gazing at the thousands of velvet-red seats that surrounded , with a total of thirty different floors.

No inspiration here...

Standing back and walking around the stage, I suddenly paused.

Dance seed easy enough: I just had to copy the director’s movents perfectly.

I already had plenty of practice in repeating, through my master of torrent step by observing the white robed man’s dance.

What I needed was to...innovate and create, just as I had been forced under the waterfall.

Yet, in all honesty, I knew nothing about...actual dance.

The most I had seen was when I had backup dancers at a concert back on Earth.

I had to see how other people danced.

Sighing, I began performing so stretches to loosen my stiff body before imdiately beginning to practice the torrent step.

The movent was simply two steps, yet if my foot placent was even a milliter off in either step, it would fail.

After a couple of minutes, I leaped off the stage, back onto the ground, and found a seat to lie down in.

Closing my eyes and rubbing my forehead, I groaned as a wave of exhaustion flooded through my body.

...

...

...

*BANG*

*BANG*

Awoken by the sound of sothing hard hitting the wood of the stage, I imdiatly dropped to the floor, lying on the ground so that I was invisible to the stage.

Then, slowly crawling to the edge of the seats, I peeked my head into the aisle and looked at the stage.

And there, alone on the stage, gracefully leaping through the air was a familiar figure.

Ah...she must have co to practice early.

Checking my smartwatch, which displayed a ti of "2:45," I simply stretched my arms and continued watching.

However, interestingly enough, it wasn’t my eyes that felt sothing off...but my ears.

*BANG*

*BADUM*

*BANG*

*BADUM*

Every ti Carissa’s feet hit the stage, a different sound was created, and all of them combined to create a song.

While dancing, she was...sohow simultaneously controlling the force her feet placed on the ground, causing a spectrum of sounds to be created.

At that mont, she suddenly perford a cartwheel, her hand screeching while rubbing against the wood, and her legs flying to the sky.

Then, with a perfect backflip, she landed back on her feet, abruptly halting.

Imdiatly, I crawled back under the cover of the seats and held my breath until finally the auditorium doors began swinging open as club applicants began flooding inside.

Waiting for a free mont, I casually stood up and entered the aisle unnoticed, following everyone else up the stairs onto the stage.

In a few minutes, the stage was almost full, with over a hundred students awkwardly standing.

I also soon realized...I was quite out of place, being one of the only eight males in the room.

Finally, interrupting the awkward silence, a loud yell sounded from the entrance as three familiar figures, whom I recognized from the booth at the Club Fair, strolled in.

One was a teacher, while the other two were students.

"HELLO DANCE CLUB APPLICANTS!"

"Since we only have a short amount of ti, let’s get started."
