Ally looked up from her book, an eyebrow raised with a confused but on guard expression. She placed her book down and rested her chin on her palm.
"What brings a guard like you here to my room today? Are you here to tornt ? Or do you want to get a little taste of ? I’ve been without action for a while, so forgive if I happen to drain every last drop from you."
In her file, Jin knew that she was pretty perverted, but he thought she was like that for science, not actual sexual desire. Then again, the won in this world had high libidos, so her words made sense, especially for soone who had been locked up for longer than he was alive.
Jin took the chair from the table, turned it around, and then removed his disguise, revealing himself.
"Hello sexy, what brings a hunk of a man like you here today?" Ally was interested in Jin, even licking her lips.
"My mother, Jessa Telegard," Jin said coldly, staring into her eyes with subtle hatred.
Ally’s eyes widened, hearing that na again. She stopped her flirtatious actions and sat upright on the bed.
"So you’re her son, huh? You know, I tested you when you were still in her womb." She smiled
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"Oh, don’t mind ."
Jin squinted his eyes, then decided to peek into her mind. Even if she had a strong will, Jin was powerful enough to bypass that at this point.
When at first, Jin could only peek at her surface mories, looking at the books she had been reading. But when he dug deeper, he was instantly punched in the face by a ntal guard that made him jump in his seat.
"Ohhh, you’re one of them!" Ally beca more interested in Jin after what he just did.
"What the hell just happened?" He looked into her mind again, reaching the ntal guard, and saw that it was an extrely complex magical spell that guarded her important mories from being looked at.
"How do you have...That’s impossible." But then he rembered the Láspi and how it was amplified by mana, as if soone had given it to them.
"Hehe, so young and clueless. I thought you were one of them. But I guess you’re not." Ally chuckled
"One of whom?"
She smiled, thinking about whether she should answer or not.
"The caras aren’t recording our conversation. I looped the feed and disabled it."
"Hmm. FIne. I assud you were a part of the society that can use magic."
"How do you know about magic?" Jin asked. He was surprised that anyone besides his circle knew that it was.
"Because I was inford about it. I saw it. I expierenced it. I’m an extrely powerful esper, you know, but when I went against her, man, she put in my place. It was so hot, to be honest."
"Who?"
"Dunno. Never got a na. She did fund my research, though, after the council stopped funding ." She looked annoyed just thinking about those mories.
"What’s the na of this society?"
"If I rember correctly, they had a branch called the Sons of Adam in Othrys."
Jin shook his head. "I dealt with them already. They’re dead. And they definitely didn’t use magic."
"Hmm. Maybe the main branch didn’t tell them about it. Oh well. The other na is Eden’s Garden."
This was too easy. Jin didn’t understand why she was giving him information like this without putting up any trouble.
"Why are you telling this?"
Ally looked at him, her eyebrow raised. "Because you asked, dear. Why else would soone tell you sothing?"
Jin squinted his eyes. "You were inford to tell ." He concluded
"Ahh, you got . Yeah. She knew you would end up finding , and so, boom, here we are."
’So this woman knows who I am?’ Jin couldn’t place on his finger who knew about him. But, he knew that the woman had to be extrely powerful because he couldn’t break through the ntal spell.
’She’s a spell master.’ Jin concluded. He couldn’t worry about this right now, so he continued asking questions.
"So what was the purpose of the Won’s Evolution Program?"
"Well, there were two purposes. The first one was to find a natural way to enhance the abilities of won, making them stronger than ever. No matter how much power one person has, they would always want more."
Jin understood this. "So?"
"So, the Aegis Corps in all countries underwent this project. But it had a high mortality rate, so it was shut down. That’s when that woman approached and funded my research. I had friends on the council who helped continue my research under the table."
"Carly Myer?"
"Ohhh, you know of her? Yeah, she was one of them. The other two are dead, so rip."
"When this woman helped you out, what was your goal then?" Jin wondered
"Still to enhance won, but also their male offspring. This woman wanted to create the ultimate man, because if she could create the ultimate man, then she could create the ultimate woman."
"Project Oga," Jin muttered
"Yes! That’s what it was called. Haha, see, you know your stuff."
"Well, it worked, but not in the way you think. A DNA splicer was used to take the powers of a woman, then there was the need for an exoskeleton, a phoenix core, and nanites in the human body." Jin went on to explain the whole process to her.
"Hmm, I see. That could work, but even with the Phoenix core, the man would be unstable." She concluded
Jin was amazed by her brilliance. He didn’t even tell her about how unstable the n beca the more they used their powers, yet she figured it out instantly.
"That’s right. They were unstable." Jin nodded
Ally smiled. "This is why magic is needed. It can stabilize that process."
Jin ran a simulation in his head, and yeah, mana would be able to stabilize the n.
"But using a DNA slizer is stupid." She muttered
"Why is that?" He asked
"Because you’re putting the DNA of one person inside the other. Genetic material needs to match for things like that. Why do you think organ transplants often fail? Finding a match isn’t as easy as it seems."
"Then how would you fix that?"
"Easy. Take from a blood relative, or they could have just taken a sample from the only successful natural-born man with powers."
