(From Blue's Perspective)
"Looks like the Marquis and the Marchioness are waiting at the gate," Dem said. "They surely do love you."
"I'm lucky," I said, looking out the window and waving at them.
"Be careful," he said and pulled towards him and sat down, so I would not fall when the carriage stopped. "You are really… Why don't you be a bit more careful?"
"You are here," I grinned.
"You cannot do this depending on . What if I don't notice and you get hurt?"
"That won't happen. You always look out for ," I said with a smile.
Dem got down first and helped get down as well. Now, I got so used to being treated like a Queen all the ti that how I was normally felt unreal to . I was the kind of person who got way too engrossed in a certain way of living that I ended up forgetting who I had been before.
Dem said it was okay since I was not going to go back to that life again.
I was not as confident, but I tried to believe his words.
"Oh my, how are you, my daughter? Are you exhausted from the trip?"
"It was not even two hours, Dad," I said as Dad hugged .
"Co here," Mom said as she hugged next. "Let us go inside before anything. I don't want my daughter and son-in-law to stand here for a long ti."
"That's right. Let's go in first," Dad nodded.
"How is, Your Majesty, by the way?" Dad asked as we entered their mansion.
"It's funny how you are aware of the King at last," Dem chuckled. He did not mind it at all.
"My apologies, we were so happy to see our daughter…," Dad said quickly.
"It's alright. My wife is quite a lovely creature after all."
"You brought Sapphire too?" Mom asked, looking at Dem's shoulder where my cat was. She was having a good ti there.
"Yeah, she would not let us leave," I sighed. "She is really fond of her daddy."
"Her daddy?" Mom chuckled. "His Majesty actually is her father?"
"If not , then who?" Dem grumbled. "After all, I am the husband of her mother. It makes her father, doesn't it?"
"Right. Certainly," Dad nodded. He was also holding back his laughter.
Dem still said he did not like animals, but he had gotten very close with Sapphire, especially when I was not here. I actually felt that he liked Sapphire a lot now as he did not mind it anymore whenever she would climb up on him. For sleeping, Sapphire would usually choose , but other tis, she liked climbing on Dem's body.
After I got pregnant, she would sotis cuddle with my stomach, as if she could understand that there was another life inside.
I also felt an odd sense of comfort whenever she was near. It was as if she could calm my nerves and give a sense of relaxation.
"Here, take a sit, Blue," Mom said and glanced at the maids in waiting. "Prepare tea for His and Her Majesty. Bring so refreshnts as well."
"Yes, my lady."
"Wow, so many new cushions…"

"Last ti, you ntioned you like to have more cushions around you. That's why we got more," Dad said.
"Oh… You didn't have to…"
"Co on. It's nothing," Mom shrugged. "Now, tell , how are you and my tiny grandkid?"
"We are great. Everyone is taking good care of ."
"You look a little less skinny than before, which is an improvent," Dad observed.
"She is eating more than before, although not near to normal. But it's an improvent."
"Doesn't she crave random things?" Mom asked.
"Well, several chefs are assigned in the kitchen all the ti just to satisfy the caprice of my dear wife. Sotis, she wants to have sothing spicy, sotis she wants sothing sweet even though she doesn't like sweet things. One day, she wanted to eat peaches out of nowhere. In the palace, we did not have peaches because none of us like them and I cannot even bear the sight of it.
I have no idea how she got the idea to have sothing like that all of a sudden. Then, we needed to get peaches in the middle of the night," Dem said. I had never seen him talking so much in front of Mom and Dad. "These things are of no concern to . I will do anything for her. But the question is- is this all normal?
Is she really okay?"
Mom burst out laughing. Dad was chuckling as well. It took a while for Mom to calm down. I did not know whether to laugh or not. I was worried that my husband was annoyed with due to my behavior.
"Are you annoyed…?" I mumbled sulkily. "I'm sorry…"
"No, no, I don't an that!" Dem cried impatiently. "I just don't know if all of what you do is… Honey, just know that I am not annoyed with you. I can never be."
"What His Majesty is worried about is not all unusual," Dad said. "When we were expecting our son, I was very worried about Aisha's health too. She would throw up often, especially in the mornings, and would crave different foods out of nowhere, sotis even things that are not edible. It was our first ti dealing with pregnancy, so I was really worried. But actually, it's very normal.
All that Blue is doing is nothing but normal."
"That's right. Pregnancy is not an easy thing. But it is pleasant for most. For , it was a mix of both. I enjoyed it actually. For example, you will feel nauseous without a reason at any ti.
You will have swollen and tender breasts. This is one thing that scared at that ti and made very uncomfortable. I thought it had sothing to do with the heart."
"I thought it was a heart disease for sure, or sothing more dangerous," Dad added.
"Right. But then we found out, it's really normal. Then, a drastic change in moods is a matter that happens often throughout the forty weeks. You will have cramps too. I suppose you have them already."
"Yeah… Every now and then, not severe, though," I said.
"Yes, it should not be too severe. But, sotis, it can be a little hard. Contact the doctor right away, just to be sure. I know you will be okay and your baby too. But there is nothing wrong with being more careful," Mom said.
"The tea is here, my dear," Dad said to Mom.
"Ah, yes. Serve His and Her Majesty."
"Don't drink too hot tea," Dem warned as I was quite impatient. The sll of the tea was so nice that I could not resist. "You will burn yourself."
"Try the cookies in the anti," Dad said. "You will love them."
Though I was not their biological daughter, they did not love any less than one. I was very fortunate to have them in my life. No matter how many parents figure I had in my life, they would always be the best of them all.
