"Let us make a move together. It seems that this group is actually a tough nut to crack." The lady spoke. And after she finished saying that, the hair that was tied behind her suddenly began swaying.
In the next mont, the lady began walking forward. Of course, she had already witnessed what Adam had done to the bulky guy. So, she was not willing to engage with Adam in close combat.
Instead, she was intending to attack from a distance. But at the sa ti, she was also keeping an eye on the group that was standing behind. But, what surprised her was the fact that even though the two of them were actually making a move at the sa ti, the group behind Adam did not make a move.
From the expressions on their faces, it was clear that they did not even pay much attention to the two of them. Instead, they were actually looking around, trying to see if there was anybody that was going to attack them.
Around the lady, the wind suddenly erged. As for the source of the wind, nobody knew, but still, the air around her beca tense. At the sa ti, the dust on the ground began rising together with the hair that was tied behind her.
At this point, the hair that was tied finally got untied. But instead of flowing down once, it actually began floating in the air behind the lady. At this point, this lady looked like a dented spirit as she looked at Adam.
As for the other guy, he did not actually make much movents. Instead, he just began walking forward, approaching Adam steadily.
At this point, his eyes that were black in color suddenly began turning purple. The intensity of the purple light within his eyes began increasing as he moved closer to Adam. The lights in his eyes were looking like they wanted to shoot out of his eyes towards Adam.
On the other side, Adam looked at everything steadily. Of course, he had already been inford by Henry about the skills that these people possessed. So, he was not surprised by the movents that they were making.
When he looked at the guy who was approaching him steadily, he did not hesitate to attack. He already knew that this guy possessed a skill that was capable of affecting the mind, making a person have a lag in his movents for a few seconds.
That was definitely not sothing that he was willing to allow to happen to him. So at this point, Adam used his skill, shock blast together with the battle ax to attack.
Boom!
The air tensed before it was suddenly blasted forward. And, this ti, although Adam was not using his physical body to attack the opponent, but still, since he was using his skill, the power of this attack was not weak as compared to the one that he had used to attack the bulky guy.
The purple-eyed guy was a little surprised when he was attacked by Adam before even the skill was activated. He had actually expected that Adam was going to engage him in close combat considering that he had done so when he was facing the bulky guy.
He had thought that this was going to be the trait of Adam, sothing that was going to allow him the ti to activate the skill. But, it seed that he was wrong.
He was not sure if Adam was just impatient or he actually knew about the skill, but anyway, a person could easily guess that there was sothing going on considering that his eyes had actually turned into purple color.
For this attack, he did not actually evade. Instead, he waved his hand forward. And in the next mont, a barrier appeared in front of him. This barrier was purple in color.
Boom!
The shock blast that was produced by the attack launched by Adam collided with the barrier. And the mont that it ca into contact with the purple barrier, an explosion occurred.
The purple-eyed guy was forced to take a few steps backwards although he was being protected by the barrier. At the sa ti, he could feel that the power of this attack was so high that if he took the attack directly, then, he would actually be critically injured.
"It seems that you are not only powerful, but you actually possess high level skills as compared to the current level of the apocalypse. The skills that you possess are definitely supposed to be rare at this stage of the apocalypse." The man said as he looked at Adam.
Of course, Adam was not going to focus on him alone considering that he wasn’t fighting a single person, but two of them at the sa ti.
Imdiately after launching an attack on the purple-eyed guy, Adam turned his attention to the lady. At this point, the lady had already begun making her moves.
The hair that was floating behind her suddenly stretched. And then, for so strange reason, it solidified. The mont that it did that, it beca like a pile of tree veins that suddenly began attacking Adam relentlessly.
When Adam looked at the attacks that were being launched at him, he did not retreat. Instead, he began advancing. At the sa ti as he was advancing, he began swinging his battle ax around, easily cutting the veins that were attacking him.
Bang! Twack! Bang!
The speed at which Adam was advancing did not reduce, but instead, it began increasing as ti moved on. And, the lady also noticed this, and for that reason, she increased the intensity of her attacks.
But, no matter how much she tried, she was not capable of preventing Adam from reaching her. So, she began retreating as she attacked. To say the truth, she herself was actually shocked by the fact that Adam was actually capable of holding against the attacks that she was launching.
It was also during this mont that she suddenly realized that Adam depended on his physical body. But, that was not all, still the armor that was on his body was also high level, capable of mitigating the damage that was being caused by her attacks.
For that reason, Adam was capable of completely ignoring the other parts of his body, and focusing on protecting his head alone. For that reason, no matter how many tis he is attacked, other than simple scratches that were left on his exposed parts of his skin, there was actually no much damage done to him.
Adam had already gotten tired of this drama. So, this ti, he began using his skills again. First, he launched the shock blast skill.
With the shock blast attack, all the veins that were attacking him were broken into pieces before they fell onto the ground. And just after he had launched the shock blast skill, he moved forward at an incredible speed before he attacked using reckless slash.
The lady did not possess incredible defenses. For that reason, the mont that the shock blast skill was activated, she was forced to retreat backwards. At the sa ti, although the hair that had already turned into several tree veins had blocked the majority of the damage caused by the attack launched by Adam, she was still injured.
Just as she regained her footing, she saw that Adam had actually appeared before her. And, he was attacking her with the intention to kill.
At this point, she felt that death was in front of her eyes, and she could see it coming towards her. Although she really wanted to use another skill, but, she was not capable of doing that.
The skills that she and the rest of the group were using were actually the skills that belonged to them before the Apocalypse. And after they woke up, they could only use several low level skills that they initially possessed.
If they tried to use high level skills, then, they were going to suffer even before the skills were activated. That was actually a prohibition that was placed on those that were awakening at this point of the apocalypse.
Just as Adam’s battle ax was about to land onto the lady’s head, Adam’s movents suddenly paused. Although it was just for a split second, the lady was given the chance of moving sideways.
So, instead of landing on the head, the battle ax actually landed on her left shoulder.
Slash! Bang! Splat!
The battle ax easily cut through the shoulder, chopping off the entire arm. The mont that the battle ax landed onto the ground, the lady was blasted backwards by the shockwave that was produced by the attack.
Together with that, a large amount of blood suddenly began leaking out of the wound after a mont of ’hesitation’. The blood that was coming out of the wound was not red like that of normal humans, but it had a tinge of purple within it, clearly indicating that she was not a human.
Instead of going ahead and dealing with her, Adam actually turned around. He had thought that the attack that he had launched was going to be able to deactivate the skill that this guy was activating, but, it turned out that he was wrong.
At the sa ti, he had actually focused on fighting this lady, completely forgetting about this guy. It was a good thing that he was always paying attention, and the mont that he felt that there was sothing that was attacking his mind, he was able to use the energy in his body to be able to prevent the attack from affecting his mind completely.
That was the reason why instead of him having his movents lag for about 5 seconds, it was just for a split second before he progressed with his movents.
After reaching the silver rank, he had already learned the skill that he had received from Henry during the night of the monster attack, the tyrannical strength skill, together with another skill like bull rush.
To deal with this guy, Adam activated bull rush. Bull rush was capable of increasing his speed by two tis, while at the sa ti increasing the damage that he could deal by two tis.
