It took an entire cold winter to carve out an underground tunnel network from the frozen ground, which was as hard as iron.

Taken by surprise, the High Elves, overwhelmingly superior in weapons, military equipnt, and supplies, were suddenly forced into a retreat.

"Kill the Elves!"

"Kill these damned Elves!"

For a ti, even the Dwarf children, shivering in baskets hung mid-air, seed inspired by the bravely determined figures of their elders. They shouted loudly—spit flying everywhere—and even started grabbing bricks of Dragon Food, ant for the journey, from their baskets to hurl at the Moon Elf lines. This incited Mofei, who was still hungry, to roar on the spot:

"A bunch of wastrels! That’s my food! Whoever dares to throw my Dragon Food again, I’ll throw them down!"

The young Dwarves in the baskets then ducked their heads and quieted down a bit.

However, one Dwarf child still felt a burning rage that needed venting, lest he explode. He imdiately climbed along the basket ropes to the edge, unfastened his many layers of linen trousers, and attempted to urinate on the Elf lines below.

But just as a stream of urine burst forth, it instantly froze into icicles in the frigid Skanis air. A gust of wind, and—CRACK.

The unlucky rascal then watched as the icicle—seemingly taking a piece of his ’mber’ with it—flew towards his holand below...

"I must admit, I underestimated you Eight Peaks Mountain Dwarves. At least, you possess courage that rivals even that of the Chromatic Dragons," David said. He looked intently at the Dwarves rushing into Elven territory to fight, then turned to Bergin, the Runemaster in a nearby basket, who was clenching his fists, wishing he could join them.

"No, we are rely guided by Your Highness. We are clear about this difficult situation, and this is the only thing we can do now. We only hope that in twelve years, Your Highness, you can accomplish what you promised."

David bared a fierce smile and imdiately commanded the Dragons:

"Chromatic Dragons, hear my command! Dive at the Moon Elf defenses! Before we leave, let’s show these Elves a little interest!"

Since King Temur and a group of Dwarf Lords have appeared on the front lines, if we still hesitate and don’t dare to counterattack, we might as well take the Dragons back to Evil Scale Fortress and set up a stall.

"Your will, Your Highness," responded Nifadora and her sisters, along with Alfonse and his siblings. Their replies were still sowhat normal.

"That’s what I’ve been waiting to hear, Boss! YEE-HAW!!!" Mofei, true to form, dived first like a bomber, just as he had when David used to blast fish from the sea.

"Wait a m—GLUG GLUG GLUG..." Rosinde, the Dragon Knight, was still munching on a Dragon Food brick on Mofei’s back. He hadn’t even lowered his faceplate when he got a mouthful of wind and snow.

"YEE-HAW!!!" His at least seventeen or eighteen White Dragon brethren and White Dragon beasts imdiately followed suit, chasing after Mofei.

"The big boss has spoken! Charge, charge, charge!" The Chromatic Dragons might not have been skilled in much else, but they were naturals at fighting with the advantage and kicking enemies when they were down.

"ROAR!!!" Instantly, nearly a hundred Chromatic Dragons, Dragon Beasts included, began diving towards the ground. The basket-bound Dwarves scread in panic. David, their ’Dragon Boss’, was left with a face full of Wrath, looking as if he wanted to slaughter Mofei, the idiotic Dragon who had led the others astray.

Compared to the well-trained Dwarf army, his Chromatic Dragon legion, making its first appearance on a formal battlefield, looked like a gang of punks with brightly colored hair wielding ’Gatling Fireworks’. It was not a pretty sight.

Damn it, I should have let that White Dragon Egg drown in the icy sea forever.

But regardless of how David judged his gang of mostly adolescent Chromatic Dragons, the collective dive of over a hundred great Dragons, along with the breath attacks from at least twenty True Dragons, created an impact and terror even more formidable than that of the main Dwarf forces.

Within minutes of them unleashing their Dragon Breath, the entire highland area gained several new ’Silent Hills’—mostly Elven ice sculptures created by the White Dragons.

Many Elves, before they could break free from the ice, were shattered by the charging Dwarves.

Undoubtedly, thanks to the Dwarves’ bold, self-sacrificing actions and the Dragons’ coordinated strikes, Skanis achieved its first major victory against the Moon Elves in over a decade.

On the front lines, with King Temur and his band of legendary Dwarves present, and no enemy forces of equal caliber to counter them in ti, hardly any foe could stand against them.

To David, it looked as if an entire squadron of Level Six Hill Kings had descended like gods to rampage through the Elven archer formations.

Each ’Storm Hamr’ t an unfortunate Elven foe, crushing their skull on the spot.

It was a display of overwhelming power, felling foes as easily as chopping vegetables.

But just as the Dragons finished exhaling their breath and were preparing to ascend, intending to head for the Kutaro Desert as planned, a magic-infused arrow, like a teor defying gravity, shot straight towards Alfonse, who was flying closest to the ground.

This familiar scene instantly brought the image of that Moon Elf Chosen of God to David’s mind.

The High Elf legend is responding with support!

And it seems they’ve learned their lesson. Knowing their arrows couldn’t penetrate my, David the Red Dragon’s, defenses, they chose the ’weakest’ target this ti.

Trouble! David, too far away to intervene, could only watch helplessly as the magic arrow flew towards the equally despairing Alfonse, the Black Dragon.
