After returning to Room 11, Li Yi was surprisingly calm. He continued his practice of the White Bone Temple Cultivation Skill at night, entering ditation Cultivation since he felt that he would soon awaken his Spiritual Sense—in the next few days, if all went well. Hence, he wanted to make the most of his ti and work hard.

In the night.

The dull footsteps were still heard inside the Ghost Post Office, where a terrifying fierce ghost road the premises. Several tis it lingered past his door, but the ghosts here still obeyed certain rules and didn’t enter Li Yi’s room.

After the terror of the fierce ghost had moved on.

Through the cracks in the old wooden door, Li Yi saw many black letters drifting down inside the Ghost Post Office.

"More black letters have fallen?"

He initially wanted to ignore them, but then he thought that even if he didn’t need the letters for himself, he might use them to exchange information with others or even sell them, ensuring he could cover his basic living expenses in this world. Besides, these letters fell on the first floor, and it was possible that he might not find any if he went to the second floor.

With that in mind, Li Yi interrupted his Cultivation and rushed out of the room in an instant.

He was incredibly fast, his eyes glowing in the darkness, and his tall figure moved agilely around every corner of the hall. His hands continuously reached out to snatch the black letters from the air before they even hit the ground.

With just one trip, Li Yi’s hands were already full of thick stacks of black letters.

But it was not enough.

After returning to his room and putting down the black letters, he dashed out again to collect more of the continuously falling letters. After picking up another thick stack, he quickly retreated back to his room.

However, when he dashed out a third ti to collect the letters, his glowing eyes suddenly narrowed.

In one corner of the hall, an eerily static figure caught his eye—it was an aged man, withered and dressed in an old-fashioned long robe, his complexion waxy and utterly lifeless, and his dull, numb eyes seed to have noticed him.

"When did this ghost appear? I had just confird that there was nothing in the lobby on the first floor, and I didn’t hear any footsteps... Like that man nad Wang Qiao, it appeared out of nowhere, without any warning."

Li Yi’s expression changed; he stopped collecting letters and quickly retreated back to his room.

Bang!

The door slamd shut.

Imdiately thereafter, Li Yi heard the familiar footsteps echoing through the night, the old floorboards creaking under the pressure.

And the footsteps were headed straight for his room.

And they were getting closer.

"Has it targeted ?"

Inside the room, Li Yi frowned. He looked up at the yellowing light overhead and thought it must be a coincidence.

There had been several instances before where fierce ghosts had passed by his door, but that was all they did—passed by—and nothing else happened.

The footsteps outside beca clearer.

Until after a mont, through the crack of the old wooden door, Li Yi clearly saw the long-robed, terrifying old man standing still in front of his room, not moving away, doing nothing, yet a chilling aura seeped through the crack into the room.

"I only picked up a few extra letters, it shouldn’t be targeting ," Li Yi thought, his pupils shining as he stared fixedly at the wooden door.

The door was not sturdy, and he, an Evolver, could easily open it.

But he knew that what kept the fierce ghost out was not the sturdiness of the door, but the restrictions of this place’s rules.

No ghosts during the day in the post office; at night, ghosts do not enter rooms.

This was the rule discovered by ssengers, but whether this rule was absolute or not, Li Yi did not know, nor had anyone verified it.

Creak!

At that mont, the wooden door emitted a friction sound.

The noise wasn’t loud but it sent shivers down Li Yi’s spine.

No way.

Could it be that the fierce ghost outside wanted to enter his room?

He now saw the wooden door warp and distort slightly, the old wood seemingly under so great force, creaking and groaning as if it might burst open at any mont. However, Li Yi then realized that, even though the door was warping, it did not break or get damaged, as an invisible force was fortifying it, keeping the old man out.

Li Yi’s heart pounded with fear as even the dim and yellow light in the room flickered as if it could go out at any mont.

Clearly, if the wooden door were to shatter or open, he would be a dead man that very night.

Fortunately, that did not happen.

The wooden door didn’t give way, and after a short standoff, it seed that the old ghost couldn’t open it and eventually gave up.

Accompanied by heavy footsteps starting again, the fierce ghost at the door chose to leave.

Listening to the footsteps recede until they disappeared, Li Yi breathed a sigh of relief.

"It seems that was a warning from within the Ghost Post Office, telling not to be greedy," he comnted as he looked at the thick stack of black letters beside him. He roughly guessed the reason behind the incident.

After all, in this world of ordinary people, no one would have the ability to collect so many letters in one night.

With the mobility of an ordinary person, being able to pick up two or three pieces of letter paper in such dark conditions would already be considered impressive, but Li Yi was different. He could see in the dark, not afraid of getting lost in the darkness, and could lock onto the location of a fierce ghost at any ti. Moreover, even if he left the room, it would only take a second or two for him to return.

This extraordinary mobility almost allowed him to take all of today’s letter paper.

"Forget it, it’s not worth picking up anymore. I’ve got enough anyway." Li Yi stopped being greedy and then adjusted his mindset to continue his Cultivation in ditation.

Ti flew by, and the next day arrived.

At six in the morning, the Ghost Post Office turned off the lights on schedule.

However, when Li Yi woke up from his Cultivation, he found a yellow letter placed beside his bed.

The letter arrived in a mysterious way, popping up at an unknown ti.

Without hesitation, Li Yi imdiately picked up the letter.

At this mont.

A bizarre scene unfolded.

The originally mottled wall began to rapidly crumble away, revealing a row of twisted, distorted characters before his eyes.

"Deliver the letter to Room 101, Building 2, Jinjiang District, Da Han City, within 24 hours."

"Just the location, no recipient... and the ti is very tight, only one day." Li Yi looked at the information, pondered for a mont, and then understood.

The task of delivering the letter was very simple.

It could be judged from the ti fra alone.

If it were dangerous, the Ghost Post Office wouldn’t just give you one day because a ssenger could take half a day, or even most of the day just to travel, and with the little ti remaining, if there were any dangers, the delivery would be nearly impossible to complete.

Regardless of the situation, Li Yi would only know what was going on after he arrived.

He packed up his things and set out imdiately.

After leaving the Ghost Post Office, he found himself back on the rooftop of a house in Zhongyang City. It seed that the Ghost Post Office returned you to where you entered from; it did not randomly send you to so place.

Li Yi adjusted his mindset, ready to head for Da Han City.

But at this mont, his phone rang suddenly—an incoming call.

"Hello, is this Li Yi? It’s , Zheng Yaoyao. Where are you? Your phone has been disconnected for several days. Are you free lately? I want to invite you for a al..." Zheng Yaoyao’s voice ca through the phone.

"I’m busy, I’ve got things to do, maybe next ti. That’s it, I’m hanging up," Li Yi said.

Zheng Yaoyao hastily said, "Wait, wait a minute, I have sothing to tell you. That Golden Nutrient Liquid you gave , I drank it. What is that stuff made of? It’s amazing. After drinking just a little, I’m not hungry for days, and my energy is incredibly good. Even my skin has beco whiter. I went for a dical check-up, and the doctor said I am in great health, no problems at all. With sothing so good, won’t there be any side effects?"

"There are no side effects. You can drink it with peace of mind. Your physique will improve after you finish it, just don’t let others discover it, lest you get taken away for research like a lab rat," Li Yi said.

"You can rest assured, I’m very tight-lipped. By the way, what have you been busy with lately? Do you need any help?" Zheng Yaoyao said, "You haven’t contacted for so long, I thought sothing happened to you."

"I’m fine, I just encountered so supernatural events recently. There’s nothing I need help with at the mont, I’ll contact you if I need sothing, that’s all, I’ve got to go," Li Yi finished, hanging up the phone without feeling that Zheng Yaoyao was a bother, especially after his teammates died one by one and went their separate ways.

Zheng Yaoyao seed to have beco one of the few acquaintances he had in this world.

Contacting her occasionally at least didn’t make it seem so lonely.

However, Li Yi was not a sentintal person; he was an Evolver who had battled his way through from the world after Sky Tipping and was also a Martial Artist who practiced Boxing, so naturally his inner strength was very strong.

Without being stingy.

He directly paid for a taxi and headed straight for Da Han City.

But in doing so, the ten thousand yuan he had in his hand was nearly gone. If the next delivery task required traveling great distances, he would have to walk.

"I need to find a way to get so money from other ssengers." At this point, Li Yi was eyeing the few ordinary people he had seen before.

After a few hours in the car.

Li Yi smoothly entered Da Han City.

He kept a low profile, not wanting to attract attention, because he understood that in such important big cities there must be strong individuals managing them, but he was unclear about the power and disposition of each city’s leader, so the best strategy was to avoid trouble, lest it affect his task of delivering the letter.

Around noon.

Li Yi arrived at Jinjiang District in Da Han City.

"It hasn’t been sealed off?" he was slightly surprised.

This was a very normal residential area, with residents coming and going, and each of their faces bore happy smiles, not a trace of fear or unease.

Clearly, this district was not haunted, and as Li Yi put it, this delivery task was very simple.

However, this ti Li Yi was smarter; he did not deliver the letter imdiately but instead entered the district, confird the delivery room, and then found a place to quietly wait.

This was to kill ti.

Because Li Yi realized the faster he delivered the letters, the shorter the interval before receiving the next one would be.
