Li Qingshen had already downed his own drink and had promptly seized the glass that Ling Momo had just lifted to her lips. Without a word, he once again raised the glass and drained it, speaking in a casual tone, "I’m sorry, my student isn’t very good at drinking, so I drank her share."
Because it was Li Qingshen, the Mythical God, that aloof and lofty man who was difficult to approach, even his courteous words carried a commanding presence that made it hard for anyone to oppose him. Even if they ca forward rely to share a drink with the popular Mythical Goddess, they didn’t dare act out of turn but could only maintain a polite smile, greet Li Qingshen, and then leave.
As the evening progressed, people continued to co forward to offer toasts. Each ti, Qingshen would drink two glasses, his slender fingers grasping the tall glass, tilting his head back slightly, and charmingly finishing his drink with apparent ease and a rich deanor.
Ling Momo sat beside him, quietly observing Qingshen, noticing that despite drinking so much, his complexion was still pale, his gaze still deep, and his deanor still composed, showing no signs of drunkenness.
Ling Momo couldn’t help but think to herself that fate was too biased. He was already perfect to the ultimate, and even his ability to hold liquor was excellent – it was utterly infuriating and flawless.
Later, as people continued to offer toasts, knowing she couldn’t drink and feeling a bit unwell, Momo decided to let Qingshen drink on her behalf since he seed more than capable.
You Yi, holding a glass of wine, greeted everyone before he noticed Li Qingshen and Ling Momo. Watching Qingshen place his empty glass down, You Yi slightly furrowed his brows, turned his head and quietly said to soone beside him, "Sorry, I have sothing to take care of, I’ll step away for a mont."
Then, he walked over to where Li Qingshen and Ling Momo were seated.
Youyi, all smiles, sat across from Qingshen, poured a cup of hot tea, and handed it to him, "Why are you drinking liquor?"
Qingshen casually took the tea, elegantly lifted it, and gently sipped, his tone distinctly cold, "Since when have you been so ddleso?"
You Yi didn’t get upset by Qingshen’s blunt words, still smiling, "I’m just concerned about you..."
Suddenly, Qingshen put down his tea, glaring coldly at You Yi, cutting off what You Yi was about to say, "I don’t need your concern."
Ling Momo, sitting silently to the side, only listened without speaking. She quietly curled her lips, feeling that Qingshen was being too harsh. Youyi’s concern was clear to her, yet Qingshen was so oblivious!
What’s so great about this god that he has to be so dismissive of others? It was utterly detestable!
You Yi just shrugged nonchalantly, closed his mouth, turned his head, and glanced at Ling Momo, his eyes narrowing slightly, before looking back at Qingshen and smilingly changing the subject, "The success of Cuihu Youlin owes a lot to Miss Ling! It’s a win-win situation, but it seems we might have to start making her first album soon!"
"Hmm," Qingshen nodded.
"I’ll fully support it. If you need help, feel free to ask," You Yi offered cheerfully.
Qingshen smiled briefly but said nothing, simply picking up his cup of tea and taking a long drink.
