"Officer Chen, we’re here to investigate a case, not to get involved in romantic entanglents, right?!"

A young male police officer saw Lin Fei and Chen Qi being so intimate, he couldn’t bear it, because Chen Qi had always been his dream girl. How could she be sleeping in soone else’s bed?

Radar smiled at Lin Fei and said, "Boss, looks like soone has their eye on your wife. What are you going to do?"

Li Lei’s face imdiately turned a mix of sha and anger, turning bright red, and he said angrily, "You people, I clearly saw you hiring so many hostesses. I really don’t understand why Officer Chen Qi would like soone like you."

Xue Zhi couldn’t help but laugh upon hearing Li Lei’s words, "Boss, he’s tattling on you, trying to ruin your relationship with your wife."

Imdiately, Xue Zhi’s words elicited laughter from those present, looking at Li Lei as if he were a clown. Tattling and badmouthing others was sothing only kids would do.

"Shut up, you’re suspects now. Believe , I’ll take you all to the police station!" Li Lei was enraged by Radar and Xue Zhi’s words, and he said.

Butcher snorted coldly and said, "We haven’t done anything wrong, why arrest us? Just ask our boss’ wife; she can testify."

These words made several people sweat. The wife was that police flower, and having her testify ant she would directly declare them innocent, without suspicion.

Chen Qi furrowed her brows and shouted loudly, "Everyone stop talking! I won’t engage in corruption and abuse my position; you can rest assured about this."

Even though Chen Qi said this, nobody believed it. If soone’s husband committed a cri, it was unlikely the wife would actually catch him; mostly they’d educate them at ho, as family ties are closer.

Lin Fei saw how troubled Chen Qi appeared and couldn’t bear it either, so he said to his brothers, "Brothers, even though she’s your sister-in-law, we still need to follow procedure and cooperate."

The three answered in unison.

Radar quickly leaned over to Lin Fei’s ear and said, "Boss, can you handle our sister-in-law’s fiery temper?"

Lin Fei kicked Radar’s backside and laughed, "Get out, it’s none of your business. I like it spicy; what’s the problem?"

Chen Qi looked gratefully at Lin Fei. It was best if Lin Fei cooperated with her; it made things easier. As for whether one would abuse their position, everyone has feelings, especially soone like Chen Qi, who felt she’d definitely engage in that sort of thing.

They could only go through the motions. Lin Fei and the others went through their statents one by one. If it weren’t for the three of them, these officers might’ve thought it was one person speaking, given how identical the statents were.

It’s scarcely surprising; Lin Fei and the others exchanged a glance and almost knew each other’s thoughts because of the tacit understanding they had nurtured over the years. Ordinary people wouldn’t understand it.

After recording most of the statents, Chen Qi rose, closed the notebook in her hand, and said, "Alright, the statents are recorded. Even though you were involved, you weren’t the ones causing trouble, so you can leave."

"Leave? Officer Chen Qi, surely there’s been a mistake. The reason for this incident lies with them; they injured others. They can’t leave and must be taken back to the police station." said Li Lei, the officer, opening his mouth once more.

"Li Lei, even though they were central figures to the case, the statents have been taken. What else is needed? We just need soone to bail them out. As an officer, I can bail them out. That should be fine, right?" Chen Qi said.

The other officers nodded, indeed agreeing that while Li Lei was right, so was Chen Qi. This matter isn’t serious; as long as soone bails them out, there’s no problem. The bigger issue is Li Lei’s imbalance, which everyone could see.

Li Lei kept a cold face and said, "Even so, they can’t leave. As an officer, you can’t bail them out."

Surely, as an officer, bailing them out raises concerns about abusing one’s position; however, that rule is rely on paper. In the police station, if relatives commit minor offenses, they usually just go ho, not caring about the written rules.

"Li Lei, are you trying to go against ? I am the team leader, or are you the team leader?!"

Chen Qi was also angry, slamming the pen in her hand onto the table, speaking coldly.

Li Lei snorted coldly and said, "Officer Chen Qi, I’m acting per the regulations. You said you weren’t abusing your position, yet by disregarding the rules, you’re obviously exploiting your position!"

"No way! Boss, I can’t take this kid’s rambling anymore; I want to teach him a lesson." Butcher said loudly.

Thinking about what had just happened, Li Lei was still fearful of Lin Fei and the others. Thus, hearing Li Lei, he imdiately pulled out his gun and aid it at Li Lei, saying, "Don’t move!"

Chen Qi helplessly rubbed her temple with her hand, saying, "Li Lei, put the gun down imdiately, what are you doing?!"

Li Lei said coldly, "These people are extrely dangerous suspects. I suggest Officer Chen Qi handcuff them and take them back to the police station for a thorough interrogation. I strongly suspect they colluded and didn’t tell the truth."

Everyone was speechless and looked at Li Lei strangely. His jealousy was overwhelming, turning into unreasonable behavior.

Butcher was angry, really angry.

Bristling with rage, Butcher cared nothing for the notion of police or anything else. He swung his big hand directly at Li Lei and said, "What kind of nonsense are you, babbling like a woman, never seen a man like you—I’ll smack you!"

Li Lei was shocked.

He imdiately tightened his finger and pulled the trigger of the gun in his hand.

A gunshot rang out in the entire KTV, and everyone stared at Li Lei in shock as his gun still had smoke coming out of the muzzle...
