Chapter 1003: Chapter 1005: Is She Our Sister-in-Law?!
The police rushed in, there were over a dozen of them, making many people wonder if sothing major had occurred.
"Officer! Officer!"
Suddenly, a young man ran towards the police, ca to their side, pointed towards Lin Fei and his group, and said, "Officer, these people are bad. They... they made us drink, made us all..."
The young man reeked of alcohol, evidently one of those who had been made to drink by Lin Fei and his crew. Halfway through his words, the drunkenness overca him, and he fell unconscious.
A few police officers imdiately focused their attention on Lin Fei and his group.
They had received a report of a fight at an entertainnt center, resulting in several custors being injured, and one of them was a woman. However, the woman had accomplices, and as the police looked over Lin Fei and his group, they saw them as likely accomplices from the report.
"You guys, squat on the ground, and put your hands on your heads," a police officer shouted at Lin Fei and his group.
Lin Fei and his companions exchanged a glance, and Lin Fei said, "You heard him, the police want us to cooperate, so of course, we should comply."
The four of them placed their hands on their heads and squatted down.
"We just received a report saying there was a fight in the KTV, the suspects have fled, but you look very similar to those fleeing suspects, so we need you to co back with us for investigation," the officer said.
"Sorry," Lin Fei replied, "I’m busy today. If you want my cooperation, can I go to the police station another day?"
The officer frowned; he had never encountered soone negotiating with the police like this. This was peculiar, but he wasn’t going to let anyone defy him. He said, "No, you must co with us for the investigation."
Lin Fei lowered his hands and stood up. Butcher and Xue Zhi followed suit, dropping their arms and standing up. Lin Fei said, "Officer, isn’t this unreasonable? If you need , you want
to co imdiately, yet I can’t choose a later ti when I’m busy?"
"No!" The officer was getting angry; he’d never seen soone dare to argue with the police and be so disobedient. Did they not respect the police?
"I heard the police are ant to serve the people. Are you the servant trying to arrest the master?" Lin Fei chuckled.
"Enough talk, you have to co back with us for an investigation, this is the order from higher up," another officer interjected, finding it hard to believe soone dared argue with the police.
"Don’t talk to
about orders from above!" Lin Fei said coldly. "You want
to cooperate now, but will you give
a ride back after? Will you cover my transportation costs?"
The police and the surrounding guests were dumbfounded by Lin Fei’s peculiar words. Yet, if you think about it, this small issue sparked thoughts on many bigger issues.
"You’re resisting law enforcent!" one officer said sternly, reaching for his handgun.
"If you officers can’t cover my return travel costs and the ti lost, I’m sorry, I really don’t have the ti," Lin Fei said, picking his nose casually.
At this point, the police drew their guns, pointing them at Lin Fei and his group, their expressions fierce and twisted. "Squat down imdiately, or I’ll shoot!"
Lin Fei frowned slightly and said, "Is this how you handle cases? Ignoring reason?"
"Squat down, hands on your heads, imdiately, no nonsense!" The officer, gun in hand, didn’t want to waste more words with Lin Fei.
"Looks like the guns are giving you courage, so we’ll just take those guns from you first," Lin Fei said. As soon as the words left his mouth, Butcher, Radar, and Xue Zhi moved rapidly, appearing before the officers in a flash, grabbing their guns and pointing them upwards, neutralizing them.
Lin Fei’s group was trained to an exceptional level, their speed beyond what ordinary people could match, akin to a young man competing against a middle-aged one in strength—the fitter one wins. Lin Fei and his peers had undergone rigorous training, akin to trials by fire on the battlefield, their reflexes and strength unmatched.
Otherwise, why are there distinctions among ard police, special forces, and regular police? It’s not just about different roles, but also the vast difference in strength; a single special forces officer could easily neutralize a regular policeman, similar to Lin Fei and these officers now.
The police were terrified, unable to break free from the grasps on their arms, they were at the rcy of these n—too fearso.
"Officer Chen, how’s it going?"
Before the person arrived, their voice did. A slender female officer entered the scene, paused upon seeing Lin Fei and the rest, and said, "Lin Fei, what are you doing here?"
Lin Fei was equally surprised to see the female officer, asking, "Chen Qi, why are you here?"
"I got a report of a fight, so I ca for the mission," Chen Qi replied, then asked, "What are you doing?"
"Oh, just making friends with your colleagues," Lin Fei said.
Butcher and Xue Zhi exchanged glances, released their grips, realizing there was no need for conflict since they had acquaintances here, otherwise, it would just lead to unnecessary conflict.
The policen, now free, were still shaken, amazed at the speed of these people, realizing they would’ve been dead before they could react.
Then, Radar leaned in beside Chen Qi, inspected her, and asked, "Are you our sister-in-law?"
"What?" Chen Qi was imdiately stunned; how did it co to this?
"Lin Fei is our boss. Are you our sister-in-law?"
Butcher asked openly, making everyone sweat at the directness, especially with so many people watching.
"Well..."
Chen Qi was at a loss for how to reply. Lin Fei hadn’t officially acknowledged her, and she knew Lin Fei was already married. How was she supposed to respond to Lin Fei’s brothers? She didn’t know.
At this, Lin Fei stepped forward, slung an arm over Chen Qi’s shoulders, and said, "She’s your sister-in-law, just not your oldest sister-in-law."
"Uh...
Everyone was speechless, even Butcher, Radar, and Xue Zhi quietly gave Lin Fei a thumbs up.
The boss was impressive; besides having a CEO wife, he had a beautiful police officer as a mistress. Judging by Chen Qi’s behavior, Lin Fei likely had other won on the side.
A man able to achieve this must indeed provoke envy and bitterness among his male counterparts.
However, within the police force, so young officers always admired Chen Qi. Now seeing their goddess in soone else’s arms, they felt uneasy and negatively inclined.
