Capítulo 1826: Chapter 1826: Who Is the Woman Beside Him?

Gu Ya’s lips twitched.

Little Yuanbao in Su Yunjin’s arms suddenly let out a giggle. Gu Ya looked down at his son in his wife’s arms and suddenly felt less valued than his son.

······

There was a red invitation card on the table, sent by Madam Qin through Pingping. Holding her son, Su Yunjin pinched his chubby little hand and casually said, “Husband, I forgot to tell you, I’m going to the Qin Residence tomorrow.”

Su Yunjin smiled brightly.

Gu Ya was surprised.

“Yun Niang, why are you going to the Qin Residence?” Gu Ya was puzzled as to why his wife was suddenly going there. Su Yunjin, with a playful smile, retorted, “Husband, can’t I just visit Madam Qin for no reason?”

“···.” Gu Ya didn’t say anything.

Su Yunjin chuckled and added, “Husband, today Madam Qin sent an invitation, asking to go over for tea.” Madam Qin and Su Yunjin were like old friends at first sight.

Since having the baby, Su Yunjin hadn’t seen Madam Qin, and now that she was invited for a visit, of course, she had to go.

Oh right, a proper visit to Madam Qin’s house tomorrow requires a gift. Su Yunjin handed her son to Gu Ya, “Husband, hold Little Yuanbao for . I’m going to prepare the things to take to Madam Qin tomorrow.” Gu Ya was already holding their daughter, and now his wife handed him their son too, so he had to hold one in each arm.

The two little ones were well-fed and chubby, both nestled in Gu Ya’s arms, their little limbs kicking around. Afraid his son might kick his daughter, Gu Ya placed Little Yuanbao on the soft couch beside him, letting him play by himself. Su Yunjin recalled Madam Qin liked tomato sauce.

There were still so jars left at ho from last year’s batch, so Su Yunjin planned to bring so for Madam Qin. Thinking about Madam Qin’s two adorable twin sons, she realized she hadn’t yet given them a eting gift. Tomorrow would be a formal visit, so according to etiquette, she had to prepare a small eting gift for them.

The gifts for the children shouldn’t be too cheap, nor too expensive. Su Yunjin found a pair of Jade Pendants in a jewelry box, two little rabbit-shaped pendants, which looked quite cute. She thought children would like them. So, Su Yunjin decided to use these as a eting gift for the two kids.

Everything was ready, just waiting to go to the Qin Residence tomorrow. Su Yunjin planned to leave with Gu Ya in the morning; he would go to Zuixiang Restaurant, and she would visit Madam Qin.

At night, Su Yunjin discussed her plans with Gu Ya, but he frowned and said, “Yun Niang, I’ll arrange for a carriage to take you to the Qin Residence tomorrow. However, I have so business and can’t go with you.”

“Is that so?” Since Gu Ya had business, Su Yunjin was understanding, “Husband, I’ll go by myself tomorrow then. You tend to your matters, don’t worry about .”

The next morning, Gu Ya left early. Su Yunjin got up after a good night’s sleep. Holding the prepared gifts, Su Yunjin boarded the carriage Gu Ya had arranged for her.

The journey was quite smooth.

The inside of the carriage was very comfortable. Su Yunjin almost fell back asleep while swaying inside. Suddenly, the carriage jostled, shaking away half her sleepiness. She casually lifted the curtain to look outside, where the bustling market had stalls lined up on both sides. Su Yunjin smiled, and just then, a familiar figure caught her eye.

Gu Ya?

Why was he strolling in the market?

Didn’t he say last night he had important matters to handle today?

How did he have the leisure to go shopping?

And who was that woman with Gu Ya?
