Mrs. Song looked around to make sure no one was there and secretly told Su Yunjin, “Third daughter-in-law, I’ve seen your sister-in-law’s grandson a few tis. That kid is skinny and dark, and his gaze is really dull.” Mrs. Song even suspected that the child was a fool.
Of course, Mrs. Song didn’t say that out loud.
After all, the child is still young, and she can’t be sure if Mrs. Zhang’s grandson is really a fool.
In the evening, Su Yunjin told Gu Ya about this matter. Gu Ya listened with hardly any expression on his handso face; he had long lost interest in his sister-in-law’s affairs.
“Husband, why do you think the Wan Family initially didn’t want to give the child to my sister-in-law’s family, then suddenly changed their mind?” Su Yunjin felt there was definitely sothing suspicious about this.
The Wan Family is so shrewd, they definitely wouldn’t have wanted to raise Wan Ruyan’s son. It was expected that they’d give the child to Mrs. Zhang.
The only thing Su Yunjin couldn’t understand was why the Wan Family initially insisted on keeping the child and not giving it to Mrs. Zhang’s family? Because that child wasn’t Gu Changshun’s at all. The Wan Family knew this fact, so they didn’t hand over the child to Mrs. Zhang at the beginning.
As for why they later gave the child to Mrs. Zhang, it was clearly because the Wan Family didn’t want to raise that child anymore. Since Mrs. Zhang was readily available to take the bla, the Wan Family surely wanted to offload the child onto her.
Su Yunjin was quite sure of her guess, just about to speak to Gu Ya, when she noticed Gu Ya had already gone to the bedside to play with Little Tiangua and Little Yuanbao.
Gu Ya was holding Little Tiangua and teasing Little Yuanbao with a cloth tiger. Little Tiangua, staring at the cloth tiger in Gu Ya’s hand, reached out her chubby little hand to grab it.
Seeing Little Tiangua wanted it, Gu Ya gave her the cloth tiger. Little Tiangua happily grinned, her smile wide. Seeing her son’s and daughter’s adorable faces, Su Yunjin dismissed her concerns about her sister-in-law’s family troubles. Whether or not that child belonged to Gu Changshun, it didn’t concern Su Yunjin.
Walking beside Gu Ya, Su Yunjin joined in to tease the two children. Little Yuanbao had been lying expressionless just before, with however much Gu Ya teased him, he wouldn’t smile. Now, seeing Su Yunjin, Little Yuanbao not only smiled but also reached out his chubby little hand for Su Yunjin to hold him.
Su Yunjin scooped Little Yuanbao up in her arms. Looking at her fair and chubby eldest son, she lowered her head and planted a kiss on Little Yuanbao’s plump cheek.
Looking up, she found Gu Ya staring at her.
“Yunjin, I want one too,” Gu Ya suddenly said, making such a request that Su Yunjin didn’t react imdiately. Seeing Gu Ya’s earnest gaze, mixed with so anticipation.
Su Yunjin instantly understood Gu Ya’s aning.
This man, really.
She glared at Gu Ya, and unhesitatingly refused, “What do you want? Shut up!”
