As the two were casually chatting, a breeze brushed through the courtyard, and Luo En turned his head, feeling sothing, with a playful smile.

"It seems we have guests?"

"Then you have fun, I'm going to sleep."

Athena on the other end of the Magic Circle Diagram nodded in understanding and lifted her hand to end the contact.

"Hiss, hiss, hiss, hiss!"

At the sa ti, dozens of light arrows shot from beyond the wall, flying straight towards the stone table in the courtyard.

Luo En, without lifting his head, casually spilled half a cup of leftover wine from his cup. The undispersing liquid, under the prompt of Divine Will, ford Hers Script on its own, accurately annihilating the incoming light arrows.

Seeing their initial strike fail, globs of rcury-like liquid seeped through the door and the ground, converging in the shadows of the courtyard into human-like outlines.

Luo En set down his wine glass and looked around, counting.

There were probably more than twenty of them.

They were completely covered in bronze armor; their joints glead with an obvious tallic luster. Holding various weapons like swords, shields, bows, and spears, they were divided into four groups, stationed at each corner of the courtyard, faintly pulsing with surging Aether waves.

In front of each squad, there stood one warrior clad in armor of gold, white, and red, wielding a tal sword and shield, seemingly in charge of command and coordination.

"Quite a number have co."

Luo En shook his head and chuckled, lazily rising from the stone table, taking a step forward, his Divine Will automatically transforming the entire courtyard into a sealed "Labyrinth" to prevent the house of Cainis from being blown away by the aftermath of the upcoming battle.

At the sa ti, the twenty-so uninvited guests assud an aggressive stance, chanting in unison in a stiff tone and accent,

"In the na of our god, I bestow death to life, punishnt to sin—Sword of Divine Retribution!"

With the convergence of Magic Power factors, the four commanding heavily armored warriors smashed their tal longswords, aglow with crimson fla, into the ground. The surging Magic Power flow, like roaring red lightning, burst towards the target at the center.

Luo En did not dodge or avoid, taking a second step forward.

Boom, boom, boom, boom!

The raging Divine Power washed outwards, and with successive blasts, the dust from the violent vibrations flew up as the twenty-so visitors were sent flying in unison, crashing against walls and flower beds, leaving behind clear indentations.

These are Atlantis's Automaton Soldiers? Not so impressive...

Luo En rubbed his chin with his right hand, sowhat disappointedly shaking his head.

"Buzz!"

However, with a strange vibrational rhythm echoing, those odd soldiers who had crashed into the flower beds slowly stood up amidst dull chanical friction sounds, their eyes rekindling with crimson light. The torn gaps in their armor closed up as the rcury-like liquid flowed, nding in the blink of an eye.

They can still move as usual after such a heavy blow?

Self-healing? Is it because the shell is mixed with Mithril that had mory Spells implanted?

Now, this is getting interesting.

Luo En gestured in the air, tracing Hers Script in quick succession, launching them like a teor shower at the weak points in the armor of those strange soldiers.

For a mont, the twenty or so strange soldiers who had just risen were pierced through the skull and joints, falling backward, spouting blue chanical liquid from their wounds. After a burst of sparks, their bodies twitched a few tis and then beca completely paralyzed.

Just as Luo En was about to step forward to examine them, the twenty or so strange soldiers on the ground automatically disassembled, recombining into a large droplet-shaped rcury-colored liquid and flew towards the door in an attempt to escape.

Thinking of running away?

Luo En's eyes revealed a cold smile as he reached forward into the void with a grasp, instantly bursting the silver droplet in mid-air that was several ters in diater.

Silver raindrops fell gently, and Luo En caught one of them in his hand, infusing Divine Will into it, and he couldn't help but see the tiny, orderly structured tal particles, as well as the miniature spells engraved within them.

Behave, let see who's hiding behind this.

Luo En jokingly resonated with the Divine Will, using the silver raindrop in his hand as a dium, searching for an individual nearby that was on the sa frequency as this object.

anwhile, in a dense forest to the north of the city, a red-haired girl standing on a high place sensed sothing and her complexion drastically changed.

Damn it!

Accompanied by a curse, several strands of light burst forth from the girl's golden eyes, and a pair of crimson tal wings unfurled behind her. Flapping rapidly, her figure disappeared in the blink of an eye.

At the sa ti, Luo En in the courtyard opened his eyes and glanced at the glossy silver liquid in his hand, shaking his head with regret.

She really knows how to run fast.

However, even if I didn't catch her red-handed, the answer behind this isn't hard to guess.

Luo En tossed the inactivated drop of tal liquid from his hand with a sneer and a shake of his head.

The few from the Sea God Temple are still too young; they couldn't hold out for even a night and ca sneaking around.

Obviously, the other side is in a hurry; they probably weren't able to gain any advantage with King Thessaly.

After a little thought, Luo En guessed most of the situation and intentions of the other party, and also almost confird the identities of the three individuals from the Sea God Temple.

The strange man and woman impersonating deities should be the chanical Gods Aphrodite and Ares, and the last one in their group referred to Queen Alcestis as "niece."

Which ans, like King Peli As of Iolcus, he is one of Poseidon's sons as well.

And among the entire Sea God Temple, the one who could make two chanical Gods act as attendants and possess control over chanical Gods, when you think about it, there's probably only one such individual.

—Prince Triton, we et again?

Luo En playfully revealed the identity of the rmaid Prince, his eyes sparkling with amusent.

You couldn't outplay Athena in Troizen City, do you think you can outplay here?

Fine then, I'll try my best to put up a fight this ga.

Luo En chuckled teasingly, settling back down at the stone table, continuing to drink by himself while pondering the current situation in Thessaly.

The Giant Spirit Clan was born from the blood of Uranus, belonging to the Titans, the Old Gods; their ergence at this ti and change in tactics most likely an soone is advising them from behind.

Based on the experience of dealing with the Beast Disaster in Arcadia, the hidden boss is probably tied to a few of the Titan Chiefs in Tartarus, and there's an eighty or ninety percent chance it's the forr Divine King Kronos.

Tsk tsk, another debtor showing up at the door.

Luo En quipped a remark, his eyes narrowing slightly, his expression growing more solemn.

The revival of Demon Ancestor Typhon had indeed caused a lot of trouble, and even though its incarnation had been slain, the Beast Disaster it wrought still poisoned many lands, causing endless harm.

And Kronos, representing the Old Gods, was probably no less of a problem. Although it was unclear what sort of secret dealings he had with the Giant Spirit Clan, it was known that the third great war of the gods in the Age of Greek Gods was instigated by the Giant Spirit Clan.

At that ti, not only did the Twelve Olympians of Olympus participate in the war against the Giant Spirit Clan, but even demigods like Hercules were summoned to Olympus to assist in the battle.

Now, under his own scheming, the Olympian System had already crumbled. If a battle with the giants ended up happening as expected, it would undoubtedly be a tricky problem.

So, he thought, it would be wise to be careful in dealing with the current crisis in Thessaly.

As Luo En pondered, he thought of the child of destiny who would decide the outco of this war of the gods and shook his head, muttering to himself.

With the Giant Spirit Clan already making an appearance, that kid was still nowhere to be seen. One couldn't be sure how he was faring now.

Co to think of it, I was the one who gave him that na...

On the Thessaly border, an old woman with a headscarf backed against the turbulent river, moving backward.

In front of her, several magic wolves erged from the dense forest. They sharpened their gleaming white fangs and growled as they approached.

Just as the beasts could no longer contain themselves and leapt forward, a thunderous howling ca from the other side of the river.

"Puff puff puff puff!"

A massive stone weapon, resembling both a sword and an axe, ca spinning through the air, carrying a sharp wind pressure, cleaving several of the airborne magic wolves in half.

Scarlet blood rained down, mingled with the unrecognizable wolf carcasses that scattered on the ground, leaving behind a grueso bloodied scene.

Soon after, a towering man, over 2.5 ters tall with bulging muscles, easily crossed the river tens of ters wide. He casually pulled out the naless axe-sword embedded in a tree trunk and turned back to look at the startled old woman with concern.

"Old lady, are you all right?"

Under the pristine moonlight, the newcor's body surpassed human form, resembling a statue forged by the gods, with muscles and blood brimming with what could be called pure divine power. The very aura he unwittingly released commanded the scene, and his re presence for a few seconds imposed a solemnity on those who saw it.

"I'm okay..."

The old woman replied indifferently, her attitude strangely aloof even though the man had rescued her from danger.

The man, unperturbed, casually wiped the blood from his naless axe-sword and burst into hearty laughter.

"Old lady, magic beasts have been causing trouble lately. It's best not to wander into the forest at this hour. Where do you live? I can take you ho."

"No need."

The old woman shook her head, taking another look at the strong man before her, and asked leisurely,

"What's your na?"

"Hercules."

The man replied candidly, slinging the naless axe-sword over his shoulder.

The old woman was taken aback, showing surprise on her face.

"Hercules? The one glorified by Hera? Why this na?"

"It was my mother's wish. She said my life was saved by Queen Hera's rcy when she picked up from the wilderness and spared from death. She told to take this na to forever rember that kindness."

Hercules laughed as he explained, then reached into his bosom and pulled out a bronze badge. Pointing at the characters inscribed on the back, he added,

"Look, to help rember, my mother even made carry this badge engraved with my na."

The old woman glanced at the dusa relief on the badge, her expression darkening inexplicably.

What maternal teaching, surely it was that little rascal's doing.

Honored by Hera? Hmph, am I that petty?

The old woman snorted, her gaze softening as she looked back at the strong man before her, her voice sinking as she asked,

"Young man, what is it you desire? In light of what happened just now, I can grant your wish."

"I helped you because you needed it, not for any reward."

Hercules laughed and shook his head, then dusted himself off, preparing to leave.

Daring to co to this forest alone and remaining unfazed by the bloodshed on the ground, this old woman might not be a simple character after all.

Maybe I was too ddleso.

"Since you won't choose, I'll give you a piece of advice instead: the gifts of fate always co with a steep price, and only by enduring the twelve trials leading to glory can one achieve immortal greatness..."

The old woman paused, looking up towards the rustling trees across the river, her eyes narrowing as she added solemnly,

"Also, don't trust those around you too easily. If you encounter troubles that you cannot solve, take this emblem and seek out a deity nad Luo En on War God Mountain."

Hercules was montarily startled,

"The legendary Shepherd of the Temporal World?"

"Hmm..."

The old woman nodded, a playful smile crossing her face as she continued,

"In a way, he might be another aspect of—your father."

"?"

This sudden revelation of a father-son relationship left Hercules baffled. Just as he was about to ask for clarification, he realized the old woman had disappeared without a trace.

"What's wrong?"

At that mont, a handso young man with purple hair erged from the forest, looking at the wolf corpses on the ground with a frown, asking,

"Nothing much. Just ran into so magic beasts blocking the way." Hercules shook his head, then looking towards the cities of Thessaly, he said solemnly, "Teacher, let's hurry on our way. Don't keep my two old friends waiting."

The purple-haired young man nodded slightly, then quickened his pace to join his disciple as they headed toward the distant city.
