Chapter 1241: Chapter 25 King Arthur: Where Is My Confidant? _3

Among the twelve Round Table Knights representing the new Celtic Twelve Olympians, Gao Wen’s faction holds four, and Lancelot’s faction also holds four…

Of the remaining four, both [rciful Knight] Tristan and [Lion Knight] Lamaloc maintain a neutral stance. All things considered, only Kai and Bedivere can be counted as Altria’s steadfast supporters.

No wonder the conflict between Lancelot and Gao Wen led to the entire Round Table Knight Order’s division.

After all, the two are the major factions within the Round Table Knights.

In terms of loyal followers, even King Arthur, the leader, has to step back a bit.

After untangling these complex relationships in his mind, Luo En couldn’t help but feel amused.

At this mont, Percival had already led their group to the gates of the Holy City.

The [Guardian Knight] Bos and the [Eternal Knight] Galahad, whom Percival ntioned on the way, were leading two squads of soldiers, strictly patrolling and guarding.

Upon hearing the purpose of the visitors, the two at the gate shook their heads and refused:

“Sorry, without your lord’s orders, we cannot let you pass…”

“Boom!”

Before the two could finish speaking, a streak of purple and blue light burst through the hall doors.

The newcor, with an enigmatic and ethereal dragon aesthetic, subverted the traditional knight image.

The azure scale armor clung to the body like glacial fragnts, with shoulder armor extending into horn-like decorations. The silver-white hair at the back of the head was drenched in starry sea phosphorescence, with aether crystals suspended between strands, flickering with each breath, as though a miniature galaxy floated above. Crystalline dragon scale patterns crawled over her cheeks, her slit pupils and golden eyes like molten sun tal, staring with soul-burning defense. Her black and gold knightly attire was torn into ribbon-like strips, revealing curse-engraved chains wrapping her waist, and a holy sword as sharp as the gleam of a lake.

Indeed, it was her, the Elf Knight—iluxin!

Luo En’s face lit up with a smile, and he respectfully bowed:

“Presumably you are the Lake Knight yourself? It’s a pleasure to et you.”

Upon hearing that subtle reminder, iluxin suppressed the excitent of a long-overdue reunion and nodded reservedly:

“You’re looking for ? What’s the matter?”

“The lord of Oakney—the Sun Knight Gao Wen is preparing to gather troops and attack Albion’s Tomb in three days. We ca specifically to warn you to stay alert and try to avoid this aningless bloodshed.”

“Attacking Albion? That truly sounds like sothing that gorilla would do.”

iluxin frowned and snorted softly, evidently not on good terms with the Sun Knight.

After glancing around, she gestured and said:

“Since you’re guests, co in and talk first.”

Everyone responded, entered the hall, and sat at the table to clarify the situation.

After listening, iluxin was a bit puzzled:

“Oakney is being disturbed by corrupted elves, and yet he’s not looking to cause trouble for Vortigern, but to attack Albion?”

“He believes that as long as they are elves, they all pose a threat and could potentially be accomplices to Vortigern. So, he plans to deal with you first, then go after Vortigern.”

“With so many elves in the Northern Realm, how can he kill them all?!”

Galahad slamd the table, letting out a cold snort.

Next to him, both Bos and Galahad appeared equally indignant.

Though they were human, they had all been blessed by the elves and, coupled with their identity as Holy City Knights, they naturally leaned more towards the elves in mindset.

Altria also stood up, expressing her stance:

“I also think that the Sun Knight’s actions are a bit too extre. Fortunately, nothing has happened yet, so we might have a way to prevent this unnecessary conflict and focus our efforts on the real crisis. Don’t forget that Vortigern is our common enemy!”

“Even if we want to set aside past grievances and unite against external threats, the Sun Knight might not listen. We’ve heard he’s quite stubborn.”

Bos replied in a deep voice, pessimistic about the prospects of cooperation.

Luo En thought for a mont and suggested:

“Let’s do this; there is still so ti before the battle begins. We will try to persuade Gao Wen to abandon hostility with the elves.”

iluxin nodded in agreent but also stated her bottom line:

“Fine, but you only have two days. If by sunset the day after tomorrow, you still haven’t convinced Gao Wen to back down, I will have no choice but to prepare for battle.”

“Alright, it’s settled then!”

Luo En nodded with satisfaction, preparing to head to Oakney as an emissary.

However, just as he rose from his seat, iluxin grabbed his arm:

“Wait, they can go, but you stay as a hostage.”
