Chapter 1240: Chapter 25 King Arthur: Where Is My Confidant?_2

“Lancelot is managing Albion’s Tomb now, right? Take us to et her.”

Kasiparug hesitated for a mont, glanced at Altria, and then nodded in agreent.

The group followed the small white-furred creature, passing through the barrier in the dense forest, stepping onto the shimring lake surface.

With a flash of light patterns, the world before their eyes underwent a sudden and drastic transformation.

On the horizon, a magnificent Chalk City stood proudly.

Invisible transparent wind walls surrounded it, and the falling dazzling golden star dust kept the storm and sand at bay, maintaining this perfect realm free from any speck of dust.

Under the glow, the buildings were in neat rows, exquisite and ethereal, grand and resplendent.

The undulating city walls, like a giant beast lying dormant and sharpening its claws in the wilderness, exuded an imposing aura.

On the small patches of land sheltered by the outer city, abundant and crystal-clear food was flourishing.

The greenery in the inner city’s alleys was lush and vibrant, with verdant dripping foliage.

The square was filled with fountains of natural charm, splashing shimring water droplets; every paving stone was smooth as a mirror, as if crafted by non-human artisans with ticulous precision.

Stepping into this splendid and majestic citadel made one feel as if entering the hall of the gods.

This strong sense of déjà vu made Luo En involuntarily think of the Elf City he had seen in the Mist Forest.

And he had a rough guess about the identity of this Lake Knight Lancelot.

“More humans have entered?”

“And elf horses too!”

“Are there mixed-bloods as well?”

Chattering sounds of discussion arose all around.

Heads poked out from the city walls, windows, and streets, curiously observing Luo En and the others who had just entered the city.

Among them, most were elves from the six great clans, yet humans were also not in short supply.

Even the two hundred-mber teams guarding the city gate were fully ard human soldiers.

Clearly, Albion’s Tomb not only provided shelter for the elves of the Northern Realm but also treated the humans who fled here equally.

“Lord Kasiparug, are they your guests?”

Accompanied by a low voice, a plate armor knight holding a long spear ca forward.

His figure was tall, with smooth but not exaggerated muscle lines, showcasing both the knight’s robustness and the warrior’s agility. His black curls, like waves in the night, fell casually on his forehead and shoulders, adding a touch of unique charisma.

And those deep-set eyes seed capable of seeing into the hearts of people, glowing with determination and precision.

“Phooo~ Phooo~”

Kasiparug moved forward with a soft call.

The long spear knight, after listening, looked sowhat surprised at Luo En and the others:

“You wish to see Lord Lancelot?”

“Yes, we have an important matter to discuss with Lancelot in person.”

“An important matter?”

“Concerning the life and death of the entire Albion’s Tomb!”

Upon hearing Luo En’s serious tone, the long spear knight’s heart tightened, and he hurriedly handed over defensive duties, swiftly leading them to the Royal Palace.

On the way, through simple exchanges, Luo En learned about the knight’s approximate identity.

His real na was “Percival,” from a noble family, the seventh child of his father. But due to the oppressive king’s tyranny, his father and six elder brothers all lost their lives in the war.

So he and his mother fled into the forest to avoid the chaos of war.

After his mother passed away, he was discovered by the patrolling Lancelot at the age of only 15 and was taken back to the Holy City for upbringing.

To repay the kindness of the Lake Knight, he diligently learned various skills and knowledge, eventually becoming a qualified knight and, alongside his idol, jointly protecting the peace of the Holy City.

In fact, his situation was not unique.

Due to the continuous turmoil in Britain, a large number of children lost their parents in the conflicts and beca orphans.

The Lake Knight Lancelot, too, shared a similar background, rumored to have been picked up by elves and raised until adulthood.

Therefore, she couldn’t bear to see orphans suffer without parents and, thus, adopted many human orphans who ca to the Holy City, personally raising and educating them.

Orphans, grateful for such care, mostly joined Lancelot upon reaching adulthood to serve her.

The human soldiers in the Holy City ca about this way.

However, the Lake Knight was very strict, and few could pass her rigorous tests and rise from [soldiers] to [knights].

In the past ten years, only three children were officially bestowed the title of [Knight].

One was Bos, titled [Guardian Knight];

One was Galahad, titled [Eternal Knight].

The last one was Percival himself, titled [Holy Light Knight]…

Since Percival was already a 15-year-old when he was picked up, he only regarded Lancelot as his teacher and monarch.

Whereas Bos and Galahad, being taken in by Lancelot at a younger age, almost regarded Lancelot as a kind of “uncle” and “father.”

Thus, these two knight brothers chose to stay in the Royal Palace, inseparable from Lancelot.

After listening, Luo En secretly grumbled to himself.

[Guardian Knight] Bos, [Eternal Knight] Galahad, [Holy Light Knight] Percival…

Wow, all of them are mbers of the Twelve Knights of the Round Table.

Along with [Lake Knight] Lancelot, they form a natural small group.

And on the Oakney side as well, [Soul Fighting Knight] Gareth, [Holy War Knight] Gahorliss, [Iron Wall Knight] Aggrevain, and as the leader, [Sun Knight] Gao Wen, form another small group.
