Chapter 1208: Chapter 14 Ro is beyond saving, just wait for death_2

The noblewoman, seeing the situation, shouted with great excitent:

“Don’t hold back, kill this wretch for !”

Although killing in Ro and handling the aftermath was sowhat troubleso, and it was inevitable that her incompetent husband might scold her.

But those so-called consequences were not worth ntioning compared to the humiliation she faced.

Upon hearing the order, several people felt a chill in their hearts, and a surge of blood light erged on their skin. As they advanced, there was a tacit understanding of military formation, with every move exuding a battlefield aura soaked in blood.

—Roman formation?

—These people seem to be demigods?

Luo En frowned, deep in thought.

Could it be that they were all dispatched from the Divine Blood Guard?

He then looked at a few pieces of the carriage debris on the ground, his eyes scanning over the exquisite rose decorations, his expression sowhat subtle.

—The emblem of the Claudius family.

Could it be that legendary figure?

Luo En looked at the noblewoman, shaking his head in secret.

Just as the rumors say, sinister, arrogant, harsh… and foolish!

anwhile, the battle on the field had already ended.

The attackers scread as they were thrown back, heavily falling to the ground.

Their arms were all violently broken, white bone stubs piercing through the flesh, leaving a bloody ss all over the ground.

And Astraea remained calmly standing in place, not even a corner of her garnt was dirtied.

Upholding justice requires strength; as the dignified Goddess of Justice, if she couldn’t handle a few wicked demigods, she would be irrelevant.

At this mont, the noblewoman, seeing her usually formidable subordinates, unable to withstand even a single encounter and collectively collapsed heavily injured, was instantly scared pale.

She retreated continuously, a desire to turn and flee surging within her heart.

But before she could turn around, a hand firmly pressed her in place.

The noblewoman stiffly turned her head to look at the specter-like girl, her limbs going weak, her tone faintly tearful:

“W-what do you want?”

“You’ve damaged so much property and injured so many civilians, and you want to just walk away? Not that easy!”

Astraea said, raising a fist the size of a large sandbag, intending to give this wicked woman a lesson.

Just then, a series of urgent shouts ca from afar:

“The law enforcent team is here!”

“Just in ti!”

Astraea’s face lit up with excitent, then she lowered her fist and headed towards the hundred-person team flooding the street.

The onlooking crowd appeared worried, intending to plead, but two teams of soldiers quickly interspersed, separating the spectators.

At this ti, Astraea, stepping forward, picked up the noblewoman who was almost limp like mush, and said:

“This wicked woman ran amok on horseback in the street, and after I stopped her, she remained unrepentant, attempting to attack , but I subdued her.”

“Rest assured, the Empire will uphold justice. Please hand the criminal over to us first.”

The leading law enforcent officer with curly hair promised confidently.

Astraea readily nodded, handing the noblewoman to the two soldiers who approached.

Seeing the noblewoman, unable to stand steady, being dragged back into the military formation, the law enforcent officer breathed a sigh of relief and turned to Astraea, asking:

“Respected lady, may I ask your na?”

“Dike!”

Astraea casually ntioned the na she used while traveling the mortal world.

This is also another aspect of the Goddess of Justice, with an origin even more ancient, and scarcely known.

Before the establishnt of laws, when disputes arose among people, the King would make judgnts based on inspiration during trials. Later, as similar cases increasingly occurred, judgnts ford a certain habit. Similar cases were treated in similar ways, this habit being called [Justice], which is also the origin of the Goddess of Justice, Dike, much akin to the transition from human rule to customary law and then to written law in Ro’s societal transformation.

Upon hearing this, the law enforcent officer relaxed even further:

“Judging by the na, you’re not local, are you?”

“That’s right, I’m from Greece, just passing through and visiting the city.”

Astraea, unsuspecting, answered boldly.

Foreigner…

Unfamiliar na…

Reassured, the law enforcent officer steadily said:

“Miss, to quickly settle this matter, I’m afraid you need to co with us to cooperate with the investigation. Would that be convenient for you?”

“Alright, I…”

The inherently justice-filled goddess was about to agree, but a voice of opposition suddenly erged from the crowd,

“Sorry, she has an appointnt, it’s inconvenient today.”

Astraea looked in the direction of the voice and imdiately spotted the smiling Luo En among the crowd, exclaiming with joy,

“How co you’re here too? When did you arrive?”

“A step ahead of you.”

Luo En replied with a smile, then walked to the law enforcent officer and tossed the copper emblem in his hand to him:

“She is my guest, I’ll take her away, no objections, right?”

Upon seeing the iconic relief of a she-wolf nursing on the emblem, the law enforcent officer’s eyelids twitched wildly.

Quirinus!

A woman who could easily defeat several mbers of the Divine Blood Guard wasn’t simple!

Fortunately, he had the sense not to act rashly, otherwise, it would really be hard to handle.

The law enforcent officer, secretly thankful, respectfully returned the emblem to Luo En’s hand:

“Then you go ahead, we won’t disturb you.”

“Wait, weren’t you going to have testify?” Astraea asked confusedly.

“No need, the matter is clear, the facts are simple, there are plenty of eyewitnesses here, no need for you to handle it personally, we can resolve it.”
