Hanjun,whousedtolivealone,wakesupinastrange,oldchurchinadifferentworldcalledEorera.Inthisworld,therearetwogods:theGodofLightandtheGodofDarkness.Athousandyearsago,theGodofDarknesscreateddemonsandattackedhumans.TheGodofLightwasnowheretobefound,andpeoplebelievedtheywereabandoned.HanjunfindshimselfmistakenforbeingtheGodofLightbyanoldpriestwhowasprayingforhelpagainstthedemons.EventhoughHanjunisnotactuallyagod,heendsupinadivinebodyonastonethrone,realizinghehaslostmostofhispowers.HedecidestohelpthehumansbyrecruitingplayersfromEarththroughagamehecreatescalled"God'sGamesOnline."Hesendsoutgamingequipmentforfreetoafewselectedplayers,whowillenterthegametohelpprotectUlonTownfromtheapproachingdemons.HanjunalsocreatesagamesystemandanNPCguide,usingtheoldpriestnamedBarrytoleadtheplayers.HanjunhideshistrueidentityAs"HolySon"andstartspreparingtogatherfaithandregainhispowertoprotectthepeopleofEorera.
