The woman in her glamorous dress walked inside the Halo Company with her chin slightly tilted up, as if to show her superiority with the others. Her every gesture and movent would create ripples in the air coupled with her confident smile and shining eyes that were bright lit. As she walked, people would automatically follow her figure until they would no longer get a glimpse of her. It was as if they were drawn into her, got intoxicated by her alluring presence.
It was not until they realized that they had made a mistake into just letting that woman walk in even though she was a stranger. One was quick enough with his steps that he was able to stop the woman from entering the elevator.
Even though he was surprised by the beauty before him, he was able to recover his wits and found his voice. What’s more was that she was looking at him from head to toe before furrowing her brows and a hint of displeasure and disgust flashed across her now gloomy eyes.
"What are you doing? Why are you blocking this lady’s way?" She hissed with a stomp of her feet. She glared at the person blocking her while crossing her arms over her chest with irritation.
"I’m sorry, ma’am, but have you already made prior arrangent with soone from the company?" He asked after much effort of calming himself. "If so, please let assistant you in accompanying you."
With a respectful tone and good hand gesture, he was able to show his superb skills in communicating and assisting guests. His hand was pointing toward the front desk. He smiled at the woman with his professional smile.
"Hmph! I don’t like how you blocked my path but it is good to see that you are blind enough to not show so respect." She spat distastefully. Her eyes showed her arrogance and confidence that boosted out of her body.
"..." The man maintained his smile but his eyes flashed a hint of coldness in it. He swallowed the words he wanted to say that may offend the person. If he does that without checking the background of this woman, he might find himself in a tight spot and be fired just like that woman who had offended soone she shouldn’t have.
"However,..." She paused with a snort as she looked down on him. In fact, she felt that it was a waste of ti talking to so man with insignificant position. "I am in a hurry. I don’t want to waste my ti with the likes of you so scram. Get out of my face."
She pushed the man before her. Maybe because of the suddenness of the movent, the man was pushed aside. She looked at the man with derision and with a flick if her hair, she went inside the elevator.
"Tch. A nobody dares to block my way? Where did you have the guts?" She said this with a sneer on her beautiful face. She deliberately said this in order for the man to hear her words full of ridicule.
The elevator door slowly closed and the sneer on her face widened even more. She did not care about him anymore and rolled her eyes at him. A nobody like him is not good for her eyes.
But before she could rejoice in having to get closer to the person she had longed for for years, the elevator did not budge. Her eyes sharply turned to the door but was dumbfounded by what just happened.
On the still opened elevator door was a hand of the sa man she had mocked. This made the elevator door unable to close.
"You rude man! How dare you disrespect ! Do you know who I am?!" She snapped as her anger surge up her face turning her cheeks red in fury. She pointed at the man harshly and glared at him. She then looked at the ID hanging by his neck and read "Han Bo."
"Your na is Han Bo? You wait for to report you to my fiancé, you will et your end." She was so angry that her eyes turned red. She had never experienced being so humiliated like this. If her father knew his precious daughter was bullied like this, he would definitely avenge her.
The man nad Han Bo gritted his teeth. He really does not want to offend people, especially soone as arrogant as this woman but he just could not let others trample and belittle him like what she did to him. It was unacceptable. He could not swallow that kind of ridicule.
"Miss, I am sorry but what you are doing is against the company’s protocol. Please follow the—"
"Are you saying that I am an outsider?! How dare you! Don’t you know who I am? I am Lu Xing, daughter of the Lu Empire that owns the top dia company in City A." She declared, feeling quite proud of herself, as her chin lifted up. "Also, I am the fiancé of Lexus Song, this company’s CEO and President. Now do you still dare disrespect ?"
Her voice was so haughty and domineering. She had even raised her voice in order for it to be heard by other people. Sure enough, this made people start discussing in hushed voices while looking and pointing at the man. They even looked at Han Bo with lanting eyes while shaking their heads.
’That’s right. Be afraid. Hmph! I am the fiancé of your boss so how dare you block my way into reuniting with my beloved.’ She thought to herself as a victorious smile stretched onto her red lips. She was so happy to declare this loudly. This would also make other won who wanted to climb into the president’s bed stop their shaful ideas.
How can they compete with soone as excellent and beautiful like her? She also has a great, if not the best, family background that could match the Song family? She was confident. She had been chasing this man since she t him on her sixteenth birthday. It was so magical that it seed like ti slowed down as soon as her eyes laid on his majestic figure that overwhelms the air of the adults that surrounded him.
As Lu Xing was reminiscing this wonderful mory, her heart would always flutter and her cheeks would burn as shyness surfaced on her face, making her look delicate and loveable like a maiden in love. She had longed to be with him and now that she had the backing of that person, she can finally openly tell the whole world that Lexus was hers. Lexus was her man and no else’s.
Lu Xing was so imrsed in her own fantasies that she was not able to see the strange looks that the employees in the building were using while looking at her. Even Han Bo was speechless at that sudden declaration of hers. He was so dumbfounded that he just looked at her like she had grown a second head.
He did not know that soone would be so delusional enough to claim that she was the fiancé with their boss when they knew that the boss had already a wife. Even though it was not yet released officially, the employees in the Halo Company had already known who the wife of their boss was. And now this woman who called herself as Lu Xing ca here to say that she was their boss’ fiancé?
Wasn’t this just literally exposing herself that she was just another woman desperately wanting to get the attention of their boss?
It was also at this mont that October had arrived and stepped foot into the Halo Company with Assistant Yu following her. She was walking calmly and elegantly into the lobby but soon her calm eyes rippled in curiosity and wonder. She looked around and even heard whisperings that she could not make out the words but was enough to let her know that sothing has happened.
Still, she continued to walk toward the elevator. However, she soon stopped in her tracks when she noticed that there was soone occupying one elevator but a man was holding the elevator door, making it unable to close.
"What is this?" She asked to no one in particular.
