Shi Feiyang led the disciples of the Ei Sect directly to Bai Man Mountain, arriving at the naked fort of the Five Poison Heavenly King, Lie Baduo.
Lie Baduo, along with Zheng Yuan Gui and another, Huo Wuliang, who had escaped in a sorry state, entered the cave. They had hardly ward their stone chairs and beds when Shi Feiyang followed and attacked their doorstep.
"Boom!" Shi Feiyang threw a Five Fire Divine Thunder, shattering the great gates of Lie Baduo’s red fort, the thunder clapping loudly, fierce flas soaring.
Inside the fort were many servants and maids, as well as disciples of lower standing, all frightened and scrambling like rats.
Should any of these dare to release a Flying Sword or wield an Evil Skill in resistance, they would certainly be put to death without exception. Those who were ordinary folks, only knowing to flee, were allowed to go.
Shi Feiyang’s second Five Fire Divine Thunder struck the entrance of Lie Baduo’s cave. The godly might of the Wutai Sect’s Divine Thunder was extraordinary, not only shattering the cave entrance but also collapsing a large expanse of the cliff face, crumbling it into powder!
Lie Baduo, furious, cursed and wielded the Seven Evil Black Spirit God Sword to strike out, transforming into seven streaks of dark light, aiming at Shi Feiyang.
Shi Feiyang deflected one streak with his Flying Sword; Zhuge Jingwo, Yue Wen, the Laughing Monk, Shen Tuhong, Li Yingqiong, and Zhou Qingyun each intercepted one streak with their Flying Swords.
These seven individuals, all wielding legitimate descendant swords of the Ei and true Mysterious Sect essence, were equipped with Immortal Swords like Purple Ying and Green Rope, among other world-conquering Divine Weapons. No matter how strong Lie Baduo was, or how formidable the Seven Evil Black Spirit God Sword, he could not withstand their assault.
He roared and released a sky full of Poison Mist, with multicolored miasma clouds through which millions of Dragon Locusts ca swarming over.
Shi Feiyang summoned the Golden and Jade Divine Blade; Zhuge Jingwo utilized the Invisible Sword Energy of the Taiqing Mysterious Sect; the Laughing Monk launched seven sparks of Mars; Shen Tuhong brandished a Demon Suppression Golden Ring obtained from the Great Hero Treasure Vault; Li Yingqiong offered the Muni Ding Bead, bestowed by the Bai i Zen Master, as well as the Taibai Golden Saber and Taiyin Xuan Ge acquired from the Illusion Wave Pool; Qingyun fired Nine Heaven’s Divine Arrows and the Divine Transformation Bead, and also triggered the Thunderbolt once used by the Saintess to dominate all demons in the past!
Lie Baduo’s Dragon Locusts could regenerate as quickly as they were extinguished, and the miasma clouds connected to the earth’s energy through the Dharma Platform in his cave, a continual source that was several tis more potent than when he was on Ei Mountain.
He deployed all sorts of spells and techniques acquired from years of practicing both good and evil, splitting his spirit to transform qi, capturing across space, a dazzling array of thods.
As the elder leading the charge to eradicate evil, Shi Feiyang dutifully utilized Lesser Qing Immortal Skill to counter every Evil Magic, allowing the younger mbers to charge and strike unhesitantly, free from any worries.
The other Ei disciples, many of whom were experts like the Goddess Infant Yi Jing, a close friend of the forr saint, Jiayin, had endured nurous lifetis of painstaking cultivation, and their Daoist power outshone their peers. Wielding the Six Demonic Destruction Artifacts, with the treasure umbrella for protection, forging ahead with the Anan Sword, and from a distance, striking with the Demonic Destruction Moon Crossbow loaded with Scattering Light Pills and Evil Extinguishing Nine Smoke Pills, they surged forward with unstoppable montum.
Adding to the fray were Qi Lingyun, Yu Yingnan, Yan Renying, Zhuge Ziling, Shen Ruolan, Huang Xuanji—the disciple of Master Xuanzhen, disciples of Master Baiyun—Wan Zhen, Li Wenyan, Yu Fangheng, disciples of Master Can Xia—Wu Wenqi, Zhu Wen, disciples of Master Li Yuanhua—Sun Nan, Zhao Yan, Disciple Lei Que of Xu Yuantong, Disciple Xu Xiang’e of Wu Yuanzhi, and Lai Gu—the Disciple of the Dragon Slayer—among others, all rushing forth in a charge.
Not to ntion Zheng Yuan Gui being unable to resist, even three or five more would be of no use.
Huo Wuliang bellowed furiously, emitting fierce flas. His whole skin turned red, with hair, eyebrows, and beard all becoming red, and flas spewing from his ears and nose.
Qingyun and the other sisters utilized the Innate Water Mother Kanjin Pills, obtained from the Illusion Wave Pool, to control the flas with water; with just one attempt, they extinguished flas spanning over ten acres. Using this treasure to clear their path, they barreled through, leaving Huo Wuliang no choice but to fight while retreating.
After battling for a while longer, Shi Feiyang judged it was about ti and turned his head to look towards the eastern sky. As expected, a streak of fire was approaching quickly, arriving in an instant, revealing a mountain woman and a young novice monk.
The woman, in her twenties, had skin whiter than snow and a graceful figure. She was extrely beautiful, but her face was marred with scars, and her features mutilated. Half of her nose had been cut off, and she was a horrifying sight to behold.
The young novice monk had a shaven head, sturdy as a tiger cub, and seed rather cute.
Beside them stood a golden rooster and a white ape.
This woman was Lie Baduo’s wife, Yun Luo, who had once had her appearance ruined and suffered sitting through a failed cultivation in a valley not far away.
The little monk was a reincarnation of their previous master, the Monk Wei Bagong, who, in this life, beca a disciple under Bai i Zen Master, following after Caiwei Monk Zhu Youmu and Li Yingqiong’s father, Li Ning.
After the Ei opened its gates and Blood Demon Deng Yin erged, Lie Baduo avoided one calamity, and Yun Luo faced the danger of being killed by him once and for all. Knowing the karmic ties of his disciple, the Bai i Zen Master had Atong rescue Yun Luo ahead of ti. Only after Lie Baduo’s calamity was imminent did they dare to co to get rid of him.
Upon appearing, Yun Luo said to Shi Feiyang and the others, "Fellow Daoists! Do not recall your sent Magical Treasures no matter what, as the Demon Fire ford by the Dragon Locusts is difficult to extinguish. Unless you protect yourself with Magical Treasures forever, any slight gap will allow it to enter and cling to your body imperishably. However, I have a thod to remove it. I ask only that you pay attention, wait until all external poison locusts are wiped out, and the Evil Magic has dissipated. Then we can join forces to eliminate that Demon Human, not letting him escape to avoid future troubles!"
After speaking, she took out a box, opened the lid, and released her centuries-long-cultivated Fire Eagles.
These eagles, a Primordial Species with golden hooks and iron feathers, red heads, and blue bodies, could spit fire. They were the size of fists and specialized in devouring all kinds of Poison Insects, natural predators of poison locusts. Seeking revenge, Yun Luo nurtured them with the Immortal Herbs that drifted down from the Spiritual Space Immortal Realm, enhancing their potency.
Once the birds were unleashed, they flapped their wings rapidly, spitting hundreds of purple flas from their mouths, like stones smashing into the swarm of locusts. Blazing with shock and awe, the engulfed Dragon Locusts lted like thin ice touching fire, turning into plus of red smoke, sucked in by the eagles with each breath.
Lie Baduo’s dragon locusts were indeed formidable when they started to bite and tear, but their power was far from that of Green Robe Ancestor’s Hundred Poison Golden Silkworm Gu; however, their advantage lay in their unending life force. Even if they were smashed into powder, they could be reborn from the dust, and in greater numbers. The Demon Fire their mouths sprayed was extrely deadly as well—any ordinary person touched by it would be burnt to ashes.
Unfortunately, they now faced their nesis in the Fire Eagle, which, after destroying them, would suck their souls and true forms into its belly to devour, preventing them from resurrecting. The Demon Fire that they cultivated beca a nourishing supplent to the Fire Eagles.
Hundreds of Fire Eagles plunged into the dense mass of locusts, spewing purple flas like spirit snakes flicking their tongues. In the breaths, they swallowed, and the range of locusts within their influence was obliterated without exception.
They could also emit fierce flas from their bodies, soaring up and down like shooting stars jumping, moving as swift as lightning.
Lie Baduo had raised and refined the dragon locusts over many years, binding them to his primordial spirit. Their destruction also sapped his primordial Qi.
Upon seeing this, Lie Baduo cursed Yun Luoniang bitterly and sent a blade of light slashing towards her, "You lowly wretch, ugly woman! I’ve always known you were a calamity sure to cost my life—and now it’s co to pass! When I went to find you before, you had already fled! But do you not realize that I’ve cultivated an undying body? You’re here today just to throw your life away!"
Yun Luoniang cursed him in return for being ungrateful and betraying their master, causing harm to both their master and herself: "Today is the day you die!"
The little monk, Atong, by her side also released his Flying Sword Buddha Light, joining forces with Yun Luoniang to attack Lie Baduo.
Shi Feiyang saw that Huo Wuliang was losing even faster on the other side, so he seized the opportunity to release his Golden and Jade Divine Blade, using the Shaqing Immortal Skill to hide its radiance and only activated it when it was directly above Lie Baduo.
Lie Baduo, under the secret influence of Zen Master Bai i’s magical treasure carried by Atong, and encircled by six elite disciples from the Ei Sect, didn’t notice the Golden and Jade Divine Blade until it was too late to employ Mysterious Skill to transform himself.
The golden and jade light of the blade crisscrossed like interlaced teeth. When it closed above and below him, it churned and imdiately turned Lie Baduo’s body into bits and pieces!
However, this demon human had already cultivated an undying body. His primordial spirit escaped amidst the Divine Blade and attracted his shredded flesh and blood back to him, reconstituting a sloppy blood figure that barely managed to stand erect when Atong’s Buddha Light shone down, nearly encasing him within.
Before that happened, Shi Feiyang loudly called out, "Demon, your master from a forr life has now arrived, do you still wish to resist stubbornly?"
Lie Baduo, initially puzzled by the identity of the little monk standing next to his wife, was now identified by Shi Feiyang as his forr master, Wei Bagong. A sense of guilt and fear arose in him.
He knew that Master Wei Bagong’s mana was extrely formidable in the past; he could only kill him by attacking suddenly during his ditation and seizing his Daoist books. And now that his master had reincarnated and entered Buddhism, achieving Buddhist and Daoist Dual Cultivation, he must have co seeking revenge today, fully prepared to eradicate him.
He had anticipated a crisis approaching soon, and the divinatory symbols did show a ray of hope for survival, but that chance lay with his enemies.
Initially unable to understand the divination, now that Shi Feiyang revealed the little monk’s identity, Lie Baduo had a flash of insight and realized he had to flee. If he continued to fight, even his undying body would turn into a dood body!
He didn’t dare hesitate any longer; pouring all his mana into the Seven Evil Black Spirit God Sword, he forcibly sliced open a gap in the descending Buddha Light and fled like lightning.
Knowing that Lie Baduo would try to flee and that his wife and master would pursue him relentlessly, with nowhere in the world to hide due to his lack of good karma, Lie Baduo considered where to seek refuge.
Now, there was only one option: to turn to Grandmaster Ha Ha, who was one of the world-shaking Five Miscreants and Three Demons a thousand years ago, with supre mana. They wouldn’t be enough to threaten him even if they all went after him.
Ordinarily, Lie Baduo would never dare to approach Grandmaster Ha Ha so rashly, as the old fiend might likely not only turn a blind eye but also kick him while he was down... But fortunately, his disciple Huo Wuliang was with him!
At that mont, Huo Wuliang, surrounded by Yi Jing and others, fought desperately, barely managing to kill them.
Lie Baduo then enveloped Yi Jing and the others in an all-encompassing Poison Mist, and with human and sword unity, he forcefully created an opening through Huo Wuliang’s encirclent. During this process, the Demon Blade, lightning-fast, struck a blow to Sun Nan’s chest and a slash to Zhu Wen’s waist and abdon. He broke through the ranks, rescued Huo Wuliang, and they both sped off, wrapped in a hundred-zhang long blade light at extre speed.
Atong and Yun Luoniang had calculated that today would be the end of Lie Baduo’s luck and had specifically co to take his life. Just when they were about to succeed, Ei’s "Yue Yun" revealed their identities, causing a montary distraction, allowing Lie Baduo to escape.
They had been told by Zen Master Bai i that if Lie Baduo managed to escape today, he would beco a significant threat in the future, and they would both be pursued by him.
Therefore, the two dared not give up and quickly pursued Lie Baduo as he fled towards Wildman Mountain.
Shi Feiyang gathered the Ei disciples together: "The little monk just now is Zen Master Bai i’s disciple Atong, who, with his forr disciple from his previous life, has co to seek vengeance on Lie Baduo. They’ve gone in pursuit now, but I fear Lie Baduo may resist desperately, presenting a risk. As we say, evil must be eradicated—let’s help them and put an end to Lie Baduo!"
Upon hearing that it was Zen Master Bai i’s disciple, Li Yingqiong was the first to respond, with her close sworn sisters quickly offering their support. Those who were usually eager and loathed evil were not to be outdone, so all agreed to join in helping track down and kill Lie Baduo.
Thus, Shi Feiyang assigned a few of the less powerful disciples to stay and tend to the injured, leading the rest behind towards Long Di Cave on Wildman Mountain, to seek out Grandmaster Ha Ha’s bad luck.
From the beginning, when he disguised as Yue Yun, his aim was for this day. He led a group of Ei Sect disciples to Wildman Mountain in search of Grandmaster Ha Ha’s bad luck. His actions today could be considered "revealing," but at this point, it no longer mattered. As long as he could lead everyone there, it would be considered a success!
