The prince acted like he couldn’t hear at all. My panties rolled down my legs and fell to the floor. Seeing that I was too shocked to even move, the prince lifted into his arms and then placed gently down into the warm water of the bath. The warm water against my skin would have felt heavenly calming had I not been in such a complicated situation. Everything about the prince, the sound of his voice, and the way that he looked at made my chest feel tight and my body felt hotter. It felt like I was running a low fever and I didn’t think that it was because of the warm water of the bath.
“Let’s get you cleaned up properly,” the prince said decisively.
His fingers slowly released my chin and dropped away. When he moved his face away from mine and broke eye contact, I suddenly didn’t know where to focus my gaze.
